I've been to AMC Glendora countless times at this point, so it only makes sense I finally leave a review. This has become one of our go-to movie spots. I usually buy tickets in advance, but this time it was a last-minute decision to take my niece and nephew to watch Minions & Monsters. We upgraded to the Dolby experience--and honestly, it was amazing. The reclining seats are super comfortable... maybe a little too comfortable because I ended up falling asleep for a solid 30 minutes (no shame lol). That's how relaxing it was. Service is always friendly and fast, the theater is clean, and everything runs smoothly every visit. This is probably my sixth time here and definitely not my last. As the parent of an autistic child, this experience was really disappointing. About 15 minutes into the movie, my son started having sensory issues. Unfortunately, it became clear that he wasn't going to be able to stay, so we made the difficult decision to leave. We weren't trying to get something for nothing, we simply hoped the theater would show a little understanding given the circumstances. When I spoke with the manager, Sadi, I asked if there was any way to receive a refund or even a pass to come back another day. The answer was no, and the interaction felt cold and dismissive. I understand businesses have policies, but good customer service is about knowing when to show a little compassion and flexibility, especially when it involves a child with special needs. We lost the entire cost of our tickets despite only being in the theater for about 15 minutes, and what stood out even more than the money was the lack of empathy during the interaction. I don't expect special treatment, but I do hope AMC considers empowering its managers to handle situations like this with a little more understanding. A small gesture of kindness would have turned this into a positive experience instead of one we'll remember for the wrong reasons. read more

Second time coming here, and it was another great experience. The theaters are always clean, the seats are comfortable, and the staff does an awesome job, even when it's packed. Huge shoutout to Sean for reminding us to scan our Stubs rewards so we could get our free refill on our large popcorn. It would've been easy not to mention it, but he took the time to make sure we got the perk. Also, a big thank you to Liz! She was working in the back of the kitchen but noticed me waiting off to the side, because I needed a straw. Even though the cashiers were slammed with orders, she came over to help from far behind. That kind of attentiveness and customer service really stood out. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the restrooms are pretty dated. The hand dryers are rusting, deteriorating and starting to fall apart, which looks and feels nasty. Other than that, it's a great place to catch a movie. read more

We love coming to AMC 12 in Glendora located at 1337 East Gladstone St. The theater is always clean and we typically like to go to theater six which has reclining chairs that are so comfortable. There's nothing quite like laying back in a nice luxury chair to watch a movie with your favorite snack. The team here AMC Glen Door 12 are always friendly and kind and accommodating. Running late on your movie don't worry they're always sensitive to that and they run you through the concession stand so you can get to your movie on time. Came back to watch Spiderman brand new day, and was very pleased. I didn't get concessions this time because I'm penny pinching at the moment, hence why I watched it in Laser at AMC (standard), but it was still a great experience. The screen was bright and the sound system was on point, so they definitely keep the auditoriums in good condition. We've been to AMC Glendora 12 many times, ever since we moved to Covina. It is our go to theater whenever there's a movie we want to watch on the big screen. AMC Glendora is always ultra clean, which means the managers are very attentive. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. The food is expensive, of course, but it is high quality. Seeing Elvis Presley in Concert in IMAX at the AMC Glendora was honestly a great experience from an audio and visual standpoint. The sound was incredible and the IMAX screen really did the performance justice, which made the whole thing feel immersive and special. The public spaces themselves are nice and generally well maintained, so first impressions were solid. Unfortunately, the seats really brought things down for me, since nearly every one I noticed had visible stains, which made the theater feel more run down than it should. It was hard not to be a little distracted once I noticed it, especially for a premium format like IMAX. The technology is there and works beautifully, but updating the seating would go a long way toward making the overall experience match the quality of the presentation. read more

730 pm, Saturday, August 16, 2025, I made sure to be on time for date at the movies. Upon arrival, I knew where I was going to park. The side lot made more sense to me to avoid the shared lot with other businesses in the mall. There were plenty of spaces available. No surprise, I was texted, running 5 minutes behind. It was fine, there will be tons of previews. It's been a while since I came to the movies. The box office is actually inside instead of outside perhaps when slow, they operate inside the lobby. So, we get our tickets for the remake of the Naked Gun and go to the theater. Of course, the previews have already started. In addition to popcorn, candy, drinks, ice cream, merch, there's was also a bar-cafe but not sure it was running and serving. Seem to be shut down. 30 minutes later, haha, the feature is starting. For you in my age group and know Leslie Neilsen as the OG, this remake is questionable. So, on a Saturday night, the house was barely full. So, very empty and fine with me. The seats were nice, arm rests able to be raised out of the way for closer cuddles. A good movie theater for a date night. read more

I'm not bashing the staff or anything but rating my most recent visit. I'm stupid upset and salty about this and it ruined mine and my wife's evening. Fire alarm went off which seems like it was from the popcorn machine 30 mins into The Odyssey. We all had to leave and could not finish the movie. This movie right now has limited seating and I've obviously been looking forward to this movie. So yeah I'm pissed won't be able to see it till next week. The Dolby Atmos experience is definitely the highlight -- super comfy and sounds insane. The other theaters feel smaller and the seats are kinda crusty and outdated. Sergio has bad customer service, sadly didn't know how to properly handle a line. Told us we were not priority when we were first in line in front of him after we waited in line. Didn't know how to handle paying customers properly. Happy that Edwin a staff member took care of us after we waited long, he was nice, and professional. Then as we walked to get our drinks and nachos, Edwin was surprisingly already in the other side of the food counter at the next register ready to take our order. The concession stand was super crowded. It took almost 45 minutes to wait in line and order two hot dogs a drink and popcorn. We missed 5 minutes of our movie!?!! They had no staff in the ticket booth and only 1 or two staff checking the tickets for entry. There was a line of 15 or more people waiting to get in. I spoke to one of the managers and he never looked at me, and kept facing away from me while assisting customers. Hmmm The theater itself is pretty decent and had regular seats with a small tilt. They had a bar area in the lobby and All you can drink. Not bad, but, please get some more staff during your busy days! read more

I'm giving this place a one star due to the way things were handled when I went in to watch a rated r movie as a 17 year old and yes I didn't have my id and i understood why I couldn't be let in but the real problem lays in the refund of my said ticket. I paid on Venmo and online everywhere it says it should've been refunded to my Venmo but the manager there in a horrible attitude said he couldn't refund me my money back and instead gave me a gift card for amc theaters essentially taking my money. 4+ the layout and the overall experience was pretty standard in a good way. This includes the concession stand and the theaters. If I recall, the theaters had reclining seats. The reason why I chose this location is because they had Anora at a showtime that would fit my schedule after work, this isn't my usual location. Parking seemed plentiful and I was able to get really close to the theater at the time of night that I went. I would come back to this location if it makes sense for me in terms of distance and showtimes. I do like this location, it's just a little far from work or where I live. read more

I really like this theater as it is clean and pretty neat. They do have recliners in most of the theaters. Snack bar is delicious with great options to snack on during the movie. The only downside for me, this theater parking is kind of crazy because of all the shops inside the center. Get there early to find some parking and allow yourself time to walk in. Customer service is great, the area is pretty safe and there are dining options around the venue. So, a perfect place for dinner and a movie. read more

I used to be a Premiere club member for over 8 years prior to the pandemic. I received birthday gift certificates from a friend over a year ago. The food concession has expanded over the years. I ordered large popcorn and large drink to share. They have a new version of closed caption that looks like a cell phone. It is free check it out. They used to have eyewear with closed caption. Customer service inside was very slow and you must know the movie screening time prior to coming to this location. The outside guest service was closed. Suggestion: Restrooms need to be remodeled/soap dispenser broken. Overall, we enjoyed our entertainment here. read more

To just keep it short .. so my wife, brother in law, mother in law and myself went in to see the new venom movie and we're enjoying it. Then about 20 min into the movie the audio cuts and then starts to play the audio from the ending of the movie. We gave the front desk a heads up and it took about 15 minutes for them to get everything synced up. I spoke with one of the employees and they said they would rewind it but then came back and said they were not. So we missed out on audio for 15 minutes of the movie while listening to audio that spoiled the ending and nothing was really done about it. They apparently offered free popcorn.... In a world where you're trying to keep us going to the theater experiences like this will make me stay home and watch this on my plex. I try to go to the theater as often as possible but im very much less inclined to. I usually won't write a review under 3 stars because I don't like to throw businesses under the bus but... there are those occasions where you press the right button. read more

I forgot how awesome it is to watch movies in a theatre versus at home. Bought the premeire membership for $18/year. Bought tickets online, avoided the convenience fee (no fee for premier members) selected my assigned seating, which is nice so no need to be early in my seat. Bought a small popcorn and received a free upgrade and a free refill of my bucket of popcorn! The staff was friendly and the theatre was clean. Seats were comfortable (screen with the reclining seats). Love the sound system and the seats vibrating to the sound. Temperature of the theatre was comfortable. Bathrooms were clean. I went to the movies with my girlfriend and we just bought A List so as soon as we get there we were greeted by a very sassy worker that didn't bother to say welcome she just asked in a "don't want to be here voice" ( what are you watching) so we get are tickets and then we decide to get snacks and popcorn, one we are about to finish the transaction I told the lady I get a free of charge up size in my drink and popcorn, she proceeded to ignore me and charged me $25.00 for a medium drink and medium popcorn. Good theater, I like having a Dolby cinema so close. But not gonna lie I feel like I got scammed on concessions. I would get curly fries here every time I saw a movie but on a visit in February the portions got significantly smaller meanwhile the price stayed the same. I refrained from getting it and noticed they changed out the curly fries for waffle fries here in July and I was hopeful for a change but it honesty felt like even less than these curly fries, I didn't even take a picture cuz I felt like I'd lost an uphill battle over some potatoes. Whoever was the worker that got fired over scooping extra fries you will be missed cuz that's all I can assume happened.
