But honestly, their showtimes are kinda late compared to other AMCs, which is annoying. And the food... yeah, it's not giving, especially if you've been to the Montclair Dine-In (makes sense business-wise, but still tragic). The Dolby Atmos experience is definitely the highlight -- super comfy and sounds insane. The other theaters feel smaller and the seats are kinda crusty and outdated. Most of the staff was friendly, however for a Friday night and the first day of devil wears Prada 2 it was under staffed. It was about 10 min just to get popcorn , I guess popcorn isn't a movie thing. ‍ and then I heard someone ask for there free popcorn refill and they told them they didn't have a lot of popcorn if they could come back later. Seeing Elvis Presley in Concert in IMAX at the AMC Glendora was honestly a great experience from an audio and visual standpoint. The sound was incredible and the IMAX screen really did the performance justice, which made the whole thing feel immersive and special. The public spaces themselves are nice and generally well maintained, so first impressions were solid. Unfortunately, the seats really brought things down for me, since nearly every one I noticed had visible stains, which made the theater feel more run down than it should. It was hard not to be a little distracted once I noticed it, especially for a premium format like IMAX. The technology is there and works beautifully, but updating the seating would go a long way toward making the overall experience match the quality of the presentation. read more

730 pm, Saturday, August 16, 2025, I made sure to be on time for date at the movies. Upon arrival, I knew where I was going to park. The side lot made more sense to me to avoid the shared lot with other businesses in the mall. There were plenty of spaces available. No surprise, I was texted, running 5 minutes behind. It was fine, there will be tons of previews. It's been a while since I came to the movies. The box office is actually inside instead of outside perhaps when slow, they operate inside the lobby. So, we get our tickets for the remake of the Naked Gun and go to the theater. Of course, the previews have already started. In addition to popcorn, candy, drinks, ice cream, merch, there's was also a bar-cafe but not sure it was running and serving. Seem to be shut down. 30 minutes later, haha, the feature is starting. For you in my age group and know Leslie Neilsen as the OG, this remake is questionable. So, on a Saturday night, the house was barely full. So, very empty and fine with me. The seats were nice, arm rests able to be raised out of the way for closer cuddles. A good movie theater for a date night. read more

The concession stand was super crowded. It took almost 45 minutes to wait in line and order two hot dogs a drink and popcorn. We missed 5 minutes of our movie!?!! They had no staff in the ticket booth and only 1 or two staff checking the tickets for entry. There was a line of 15 or more people waiting to get in. I spoke to one of the managers and he never looked at me, and kept facing away from me while assisting customers. Hmmm The theater itself is pretty decent and had regular seats with a small tilt. They had a bar area in the lobby and All you can drink. Not bad, but, please get some more staff during your busy days! read more

We went on a Sunday at 7p and the staff was not at all too busy but yet the bathrooms were thrashed and need stocking the carpets entering theatre 8 were shockingly disgusting. I really like this theater as it is clean and pretty neat. They do have recliners in most of the theaters. Snack bar is delicious with great options to snack on during the movie. The only downside for me, this theater parking is kind of crazy because of all the shops inside the center. Get there early to find some parking and allow yourself time to walk in. Customer service is great, the area is pretty safe and there are dining options around the venue. So, a perfect place for dinner and a movie. read more

4+ the layout and the overall experience was pretty standard in a good way. This includes the concession stand and the theaters. If I recall, the theaters had reclining seats. The reason why I chose this location is because they had Anora at a showtime that would fit my schedule after work, this isn't my usual location. Parking seemed plentiful and I was able to get really close to the theater at the time of night that I went. I would come back to this location if it makes sense for me in terms of distance and showtimes. I do like this location, it's just a little far from work or where I live. read more

I used to be a Premiere club member for over 8 years prior to the pandemic. I received birthday gift certificates from a friend over a year ago. The food concession has expanded over the years. I ordered large popcorn and large drink to share. They have a new version of closed caption that looks like a cell phone. It is free check it out. They used to have eyewear with closed caption. Customer service inside was very slow and you must know the movie screening time prior to coming to this location. The outside guest service was closed. Suggestion: Restrooms need to be remodeled/soap dispenser broken. Overall, we enjoyed our entertainment here. read more

To just keep it short .. so my wife, brother in law, mother in law and myself went in to see the new venom movie and we're enjoying it. Then about 20 min into the movie the audio cuts and then starts to play the audio from the ending of the movie. We gave the front desk a heads up and it took about 15 minutes for them to get everything synced up. I spoke with one of the employees and they said they would rewind it but then came back and said they were not. So we missed out on audio for 15 minutes of the movie while listening to audio that spoiled the ending and nothing was really done about it. They apparently offered free popcorn.... In a world where you're trying to keep us going to the theater experiences like this will make me stay home and watch this on my plex. I try to go to the theater as often as possible but im very much less inclined to. I usually won't write a review under 3 stars because I don't like to throw businesses under the bus but... there are those occasions where you press the right button. read more

I forgot how awesome it is to watch movies in a theatre versus at home. Bought the premeire membership for $18/year. Bought tickets online, avoided the convenience fee (no fee for premier members) selected my assigned seating, which is nice so no need to be early in my seat. Bought a small popcorn and received a free upgrade and a free refill of my bucket of popcorn! The staff was friendly and the theatre was clean. Seats were comfortable (screen with the reclining seats). Love the sound system and the seats vibrating to the sound. Temperature of the theatre was comfortable. Bathrooms were clean. We went to watch a movie last night and last week. Both times we came across Thomas who was by far a great AMC employee. We love it here! The team is always polite, kind and helpful. We usually come in by the skin of our teeth to see our film, and the staff is really attentive, and the lines for concessions are quick. Another thing I love about AMC is their reward program. The more we spend the more rewards we receive, which is great. The pepperoni pizza is delicious. And here's a little secret if I ever feel too fat I just go in there and order a hotdog! It definitely cleans me out and by the end of the week I feel thin! I purchased tickets online, not knowing what to expect from this AMC location since I've never been here. I started looking at reviews after and had a bit of regret since there were quite a few complaints. Overall, it's not a bad AMC location at all. I purchased the cheapest non-cinema/3D/4D/IMAX/REALD tickets and the quality did seem a little lower, but can't complain knowing I didn't want to splurge/upgrade. Good theater, I like having a Dolby cinema so close. But not gonna lie I feel like I got scammed on concessions. I would get curly fries here every time I saw a movie but on a visit in February the portions got significantly smaller meanwhile the price stayed the same. I refrained from getting it and noticed they changed out the curly fries for waffle fries here in July and I was hopeful for a change but it honesty felt like even less than these curly fries, I didn't even take a picture cuz I felt like I'd lost an uphill battle over some potatoes. Whoever was the worker that got fired over scooping extra fries you will be missed cuz that's all I can assume happened. I was so excited to go back to AMC Glendora. I just love this theatre. It is located in Glendora Market Place Shopping Center. It is very clean and spacious. They have different beverages and snacks. There are numerous parking spots close to the theatre or anywhere in the shopping center. The employees are very friendly and attentive. For matinee tickets, I paid $11.09, which was cheap. We had a very disappointing and upsetting experience at AMC Glendora. We were kicked out during a kids movie because staff claimed our children were distracting other guests. There were only about 15 people in the entire theater, including the six of us. Our kids were simply enjoying the movie - excited and acting just as you'd expect from 6 years old during a children's film. All our phones were on silent mode, no one talked on the phone. The staff member said he had been standing there specifically watching our group to remove us, which was intimidating and really scared the kids. They were embarrassed, confused, and it completely ruined what should have been a fun outing. No one even asked us to move seats - just straight to being kicked out. It was very rude. We never received a refund for our six tickets, and after reaching out to AMC customer service online, I was told they wouldn't provide any refund or assistance. After everything, I checked Yelp reviews--and it turns out this location has a pattern of kicking people out. Clearly, something is seriously wrong with how this theater is being run. If I had known, I would never have brought my kids here. We won't be back, and I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone - especially families. read more

The seats are comfortable and can lean back, they offer discounts on popcorn once you accumulate rewards and the staff is always friendly. I love that they're quick to clean up messes on the floor (don't you hate when theatres have sticky floors?) and the general condition of their bathrooms is clean. Our family loves watching movies here! It's been a family tradition for years, and it's one we intend to continue for the foreseeable future. read more

It was not their fault;for some reason there must have been a glitch in the system. However, when we complained, the manager said, "Tell me what we did wrong.It was not our fault".I told him I paid for IMAX, and the closest time was 2 hours 30 minutes later. The next show was 30 minutes later which was a discounted price. I told him, Can you refund me the difference? So now and he blamed me for not picking IMAX. I came here recently to watch the new Mission Impossible movie with Tom Cruise because they had better seats in this place. It was my first time coming here and I taught the parking lot was a little bit on the fuller side. Had to walk a little bit further than most theaters. But at least it is on the same floor so if you have bad knees this will be an alright place to go. When we walked into the place there was a long line but that line was actually to buy tickets. If you have purchased it on the app then you can go straight to a different person. The movie room itself was a little smaller than what I taught it would be. But the sound quality was nice. This is an alright movie spot to come to and see the Glendora area. There are also a few restaurants inside the same place. read more

Everything is designed to squeeze a few more dollars out of their customers. $17 for a drink and a small popcorn? The worst thing, though, is the volume. This AMC is by far my favorite one to go to. It's a 15-20 minute drive for me but I like how easy parking is and how it's hassle free. I think they only have one Dolby cinema theatre here so I try to go opening weekend of a big movie release so I can enjoy the reclining seats and better screen/sound system. Knock on wood, the crowd is pretty respectful here and I've yet to have an awful experience. The employees are nice and the theatre is seemingly clean. Of course, the snack prices are kind of ridiculous and I prefer to eat after the movie for better quality food. I had a fun-filled day with my kids and nieces and nephews of which included a trip to see Minions: Rise of Gru at the AMC. I reserved seats and bought tickets online; our transition into the theater was flawless. Attendants were great, as was the quality of the snacks and drinks. The movie theater was clean and well-kept. I appreciated the promptness with which the movie started - not too many previews.
