I've been using David at Ambush Pest Management for the past year. He was a referral from a long-time friend of mine. He takes care of both the inside and outside of the home. We've been treated for ants and rodents. For my particular application, he sprayed inside and trapped outside. He uses an organic spray that is kid and pet friendly. He is always on time, and he reminds me via text message when he's coming for the quarterly treatments. Always promises to come when any problem arises, and at any time during the year--and for me not to wait until quarterly treatments to call him for a touch-up. 5/5, would recommend! read more

It gets no better! I have been a fan and pleased customer since day one and I'm very picky about my pest control. Not only do they get the job done well, but they also take time to explain and answer any questions. You honestly can't beat the services provided by Ambush. read more

We moved here from Florida and we have used Ambush for everything pest related, from rodent control to trapping a few squirrels and even some bird control. The owner of the company provides all the service, and we get along with him great. i HIGHLY recommend Ambush Pest Management! read more

We first started using Ambush Pest Control 5 years ago. Something in our home was biting us. What, we did not know but several of us had multiple bites on our legs and arms. I called multiple companies explaining that there was some type of insect in our home and we got all types of scary explanation involving tenting our home and large dollar amounts to treat the issue. David from Ambush said that he would come out to our home at no cost and tell us what our insect issue was. He made an appointment, he was on time, professional and this guy knows his stuff. He laid on our floor and within minutes, he told us that we we had was house spiders. No need for tenting, no need for large dollar amounts, just house spiders. We signed up for Davids service and no more house spiders. This past summer, we had a roof rat get into our home. We did not know how this happened but we were being held hostage to this rat. It was just awful. David was out of town when this happened but he told us that as soon as he was back in town he would take care of this issue for us. David came over, identified where the rat had gotten into our home. He closed up the exterior entry points for us. He set a trap and he caught the rat that evening. David laid traps outside and multiple rats were caught in the next few weeks. He also searched the neighborhood and found that a neighbor of ours was putting out food for the ducks. This is part of the reason that the rats were lurking around, If you have a pest, insect, critter issue, call The Bug Guy. David knows his stuff. He is honest and he is reasonable. Sign up for his monthly maintenance plan, you won't regret it. read more

David with Ambush pest management has been highly reliable and professional for the past few years we've been using him. I've read some of the negative reviews here and they are very different from our experience with David and Ambush. Always on time and never missed an appointment, always very friendly and personable. My wife also uses him for their commercial office as well and have had the same experience. Give them a shot, you won't be disappointed. read more

Ambush has been taking care of us for years now. I wouldn't have any other company doing our pest control. It's a no brainer, the owner actually does the service and has 20 years experience. We have moved 3 times since we started using Ambush and we have called them for help with every one. We always recommend them to our friends and family and they've impressed them every time! read more

Ambush came highly recommended by some close friends when I was having a severe mosquito infestation problem. I've been using them for a handful of years now and I'm very pleased with the stellar service that they provide. I received a free quote, they came out shortly after and the prices were very reasonable for the quality of work that Ambush provides. I'm very fond that they use environmentally friendly products and always explain the process very clearly and in layman terms for me. I am now a loyal customer, wouldn't use any other pest control service and definitely recommend Ambush Pest Control to others! read more

Dave is awesome and comes whenever needed. He even advises me how to avoid pest problems before they happen. He can also help remove and prevent birds from getting into your vents. We are thrilled to be helping customers of Ambush! read more

Been using Ambush Pest Management for over a year. Found them through a referral from a friend. David is awesome, super friendly, professional, and easy to work with. Love the fact that I can text him if I ever have any issues or problems. He is honest and open, if your looking for a "bug guy", David is your man. David has always been on time for us, not sure what the negative reviews are referring to. He has always followed through, and reminds me every 3 months thats it time for an appointment. He even came back twice after it rained after his bug service. read more

David is the BEST! Hands down. You will NOT find a better pest control company. I hate bugs and he knows it. Any time I reached out - he was always available. We moved to another state about 7 months ago and our pest control service is just NOT cutting it. I reached out to David just last week as I was at my wits end. And he STILL was available and offered his recommendations (which I am taking - no questions asked!) If you're looking for someone who's knowledgeable and truly cares about his customers, DAVID IS YOUR GUY! Seriously- you will not be sorry. read more

David has been keeping our homes pest free for almost 20 years through 3 different homes. I get treated every quarter and rarely if ever do I see a bug. We have been using DaBugGuy for years. They are the experts at pest control. Aside from the reliable regular service, whenever there is a problem (ants, wasps, other insects, rodents, or other invaders), we text a photo to Ambush , and problem solved! They are also expert on preventative steps to stop those invaders from getting into your house from outdoors. I highly recommend Ambush Pest Management). read more

I have been using Ambush for about 3 years now and have been very pleased. We have experienced pretty much any critter issue there is - termites, ants, rats, squirrels... you name it, we've had it, and David has taken care of it. He is extremely knowledgable, very reasonably priced and is always willing to come at his earliest convenience if there is an issue that needs to be addressed. Highly recommend! read more

We just renewed for the 10th year with Ambush Pest Management. The owner has 21 years experience and actually provides the service himself. Ambush uses products that are safe for my family and dog. I highly recommend Ambush Pest Management! read more

If you do not sign an annual agreement, he can become very nasty with you. We used him several times and continue to have bugs and he blamed us because we would not continue to pay him read more

We have used Ambush Pest Management for 2 years. We get excellent, timely service from David and his staff. When I had an "issue" they came right out within a day or two and got rid of problem. The annual service contact is a great deal! I highly recommend Ambush Pest Management!!! read more

Has anyone heard from David. We renewed our annual.agreement for a third year and paid up front, but can't reach him to address our immediate needs and to carry out service. Left voicemails, sent emails and tried reaching him through his website.....crickets..not a word back. Originally thought he might be having some personal challenges, but sounds like some others might be in the same boat with us. read more

I've used David for almost 20 years. He is honest, gets the job done and is a very caring guy. I've had no problems with pests around my house. Today he was checking in the attic to make sure there were no issues up there. He has been reliable and on time for services. If he was running late he let me know. I have also used him for Christmas lights and have had good service with that too. He aims to please and get rid of pests I don't want in my home. Thanks David for giving me piece of mind with pest control. read more

Ambush keeps bugs out of my house. Plus, I have kids and a dog, so Ambush uses products which are safe around us. You'll have to ask them how it's bad for bugs but safe for us, all I know is: it works. When those other guys come knocking door-to-door, I politely tell them "I've already got a bug guy and I'm not looking to change." read more

David is the most unprofessional, unreliable, non responsive business owner I know. Do not use his services unless you are okay horrible customer service. Doesn't follow thru with set appointments and can't remember what he did the last time out. If you have low expectations, he is your guy. Do not recommend Ambush Pest if you are looking for a long term relationship. read more

We have been with Ambush Pest Management for several years and are very happy with the service. Their immediate response is amazing!

I was a customer of David's for years & am disappointed that he has not responded to my requests for quarterly treatment. I signed another annual agreement with him last summer and paid him in full but haven't seen or heard from him since October of 2016. I know I am not the first customer where he decided not to fulfill his end of his "annual agreement". I had recommended his company to a co-worker & he disappeared on her family as well. I agree with some of the others' comments about his pompous behavior. I tolerated it for years because I felt he knew his trade, but his lack of professionalism has gone too far this time. Very sad. read more

David has handled our pest control for several years. He is extremely well versed in his field and is interested in educating his customers on what we can do to minimize our need for him to come more often than the schedule quarterly service. And, at the same time, he always asks us to call him if we see issues pop up that need addressing; so that he can knock them out immediately. He never takes shortcuts with the supplies that he uses and is always conscious about the home environment being safe for children and pets, inside and out.. I have happily recommended him to my friends. Great company to work with! read more

Would not recommend - he is rude, confrontational, and stopped showing up and ignored all of our texts and calls the last 6 months of our 1 year plan. David came highly recommended from family and he is knowledgable. He was pretty good the first few months, and about 4 months in we had our first problem. We had a hornets nest so I kept texting him and got no response, no returned calls either. He finally responsed a week later saying he took care of it while I was at work, the problem was that hornets were still flying in and out. I asked him about this and he said that I'm wrong and that's impossible - so I sent him a video text of the hornets. I tried to call, no answer. He then texted and told me that it can take a few days for the hornets to die - which is fine, but doesn't change the fact that he never responded and never communicated until a week alter, and he told me I'm wrong and that thats impossible which seemed like he was calling me a liar. About six months in it was time for our quarterly inspection, so he texted and asked about a Thursday and I said that would work great because I would actually be working from home that day and I should be around most of the day, just have to run a couple of errands. He didn't give a time window or anything, so I ran to starbucks two blocks from my house around 10 am. He texted and said 'This must be that time that youre not home'. I responded instantly and said 'Yes, but I can be home in two minutes'. He replied 'Too late, I have to go to Frisco now and can stop by in the afternoon' so I said 'that's fine, please just give me a heads up so that I can make sure to be home when you're coming'. Well, around 2 pm he texts and says 'You around?'. I didn't see the text for 15 minutes and then I replied 'Yes I am'. He says 'Too late, Im on my way to another house' and he left it at that. I tried to call, no answer. So I texted again and said 'when can you come over?'. He responsed instantly and said 'Not today since you're never home'. I responded 'In the future it would be helpful if you gave a heads up since it is unreasonable to think that someone should stay home all day waiting for you to come over'. He responded 'Mr XXXX, maybe you should be home when you say you're going to be home'. He eventually promised to come out Friday, but he never showed. After that last incident he never responded to my texts or calls. My wife called him from her number since he didn't have it and he answered. She got him to agree to a date to come out to service our house. He never showed. He didn't respond to any texts or calls from here on out. read more

Save your money and your time and look elsewhere. There are many other options out there than to rely on this man. Not only is he not reliable, he's rude, doesn't call you back and if he does choose to respond, it's via text at his convenience. He also makes false promises. He said a number of times he'd stop by and never did. And if you have a question because you genuinely don't understand the procedure, he becomes annoyed as if you're wasting his time. I should have followed my gut the first time we met when he started bad mouthing a few of his current customers. Lesson learned. read more

Terrible customer service and never finished job. Was contacted 5 times in September of 2014 and did not respond to two voicemails, 1 email and 2 texts. Works on his schedule not yours and outright lies about the job he will do and when he will do it. Was hired in Feb of 2014 to trap some squirrels, plug holes they had going into attic and repair/replace damaged woodwork. 9 months later the job is still not finished and he constantly promises to come by but almost without fail breaks those promises and never had the professionalism or common courtesy to let you know he wont be able to make it. Another good example of what you get with this guy is a few weeks after he was hired, I texted him wanting to know when he was going to come out and reset his traps. He texted back. "its my birthday, call me on Monday." If this is the type of service you are looking for, this is your guy. After a few weeks, he obviously moves on to other jobs and pays little to no attention to what is left to do on yours. His attitude once you pay is "I have your money, I will do the job when I feel like and maybe not at all." Also, if you are foolish enough (as I was) to pay for his over valued "12 month exclusion service", make sure you have him leave a note on your door when he comes by. He never lets you know when he has been by otherwise. Avoid at all costs! read more
