He listened and answered our questions. He prepared an estimate that was emailed to us. We approved and paid a deposit. Shortly, after an appointment for installation was set up. The plan-- *Install a new 55" Samsung TV mounted on brick wall above our fireplace. A sound bar was attached to the bottom of the TV. It will improve sound in the large family room with a vaulted ceiling. *Move the 46" Samsung TV we bought from Towne four years ago to another room, the office sitting area. It was mounted on a wall. Service men were efficient and professional. (They removed shoes in the house.) They checked with us about details including appropriate placement. After installation, an informative clear explanation of the remote settings for the tv and for the sound bar were given. They cleaned up. We highly recommend this family owned local business.

The day before the service, still no word. I called and was told they would turn the call over to a dispatcher and someone would call me that day. How do you say RADIO SILENCE? Later in the day and less than 24 hours before the scheduled service I call and get the same answer. After I kept saying What am I suppose to do since it sounds like you don't have anyone. They at least committed to a dispatcher calling me before the end of the day (it was 9:00 EST).... really?! It is the end of the day. Of course no one called me back. In the mean time I scheduled Geek Squad for $20 more than HT was going to charge me. It was worth the $20 knowing someone would show up. I got an email later on the day the service was suppose to be scheduled saying my appointment was cancelled. Unbelievable - drop the mic! I didn't care as much about resolution, upgraded speaker quality, etc. as it was a little-used television that I listened to more than watched while working on projects. The person I talked to was very helpful. He showed me a couple of televisions that would work but one was way more expensive than I needed (his words actually) and the other was so basic that various apps couldn't be installed onto it. He apologized but couldn't recommend spending a lot on a tv here when a cheap Asian import at Walmart would work a lot better. I appreciated his honesty and advice. Worst company to deal with, ever!! Mind you, we were paying a monthly service fee for any services that were needed. After fulfilling our side of the 2 year contract, we called to cancel. We were told there would be no kore charges and then the next month my card was charged. Called ADT again and was told the funds would be refunded to my card. Here we are almost 3 weeks later and still no refund. Lesson learned for me will hopefully help someone in the future when they think about doing business with ADT. Don't do business with ADT. Stick to the ring or blink cameras, they work 1000% better and don't cost nearly as much.
