*update* salon has been in touch with me and has made it right. Came back up to get nail fixed. Will give the 1 more try! New to this side of town and have been a couple times. This time I was very disappointed with my tech. Once I told him I didn't want the gel polish he wanted nothing to do with me! I got the deluxe package. Last time with that package it took about 40-45 minutes and I was offered a glass of wine. This time it took about 30 minutes and I wasn't even offered a water. If you aren't going to let them up sale the gel don't go! Plenty of nail salons around. read more

I don't have a complaint about the service I received. I have a complaint about the price. I requested to have a French manicure done and was charged $20 extra on top of the basic manicure fee. I just feel like this is excessive. I could see $10 I guess but $20. This is too much. It's making me not want to go back there. read more

I had Lilian this morning and she did a great job. I wanted a pink sparkly look on my toes and fingers but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. She tried a couple of colors for me to make sure I liked the look. I got a mani-pedi and didn't feel like I was there forever. Definitely recommend! read more

Came here because I was in desperate need to get my nails done while visiting Cincinnati area. This location recently opened. I was nervous because I am so used to my regular nail salon back home in ATX, but I was blown away. Sooooo many seats to be filled which is a good sign for when they build up new clients in this geographic location so that walkins may not have to wait too long provided staffing is sufficient. Each person I interacted with was so nice friendly and professional. Kim did my nails and was sooo sweet!! She was pleasant and very detail oriented and did such an amazing job on my tiny bitten nails! Super clean and beautiful interior with a ton of colors and services. This is a chop shop. I went in to get French tips with sns. They looked ok, French tips can be difficult so I want expecting perfection but...she didn't clean up any of the lines or the sides of my nails..she literally cured some of the gel onto my skin. My nails started breaking off a week after having them done. I had to go get them fixed somewhere else! read more

I went to get a manicure and pedicure for my baby shower m. My nail tech wasn't "rude" but she wasn't friendly either. My pedicure was ok the water was burning hot and had to tell her three times. Pedicure lasted. SNS was put on my nails, I went to dinner and they were cracked and looked like marshmallows lol. Nails were not buffed and smoothed. Looks like I had done them myself. Music in establishment is also off putting and explicit. I have been to several other ambiance locations and the music is completely different, can't help but feel like it's because of location and demographics of the area... Reached out to management they did offered to fix the nails I asked could I go to another location and was told no because of different ownership which is understandable however I just decided to take the lost and never to return to that particular location again read more

By far the worst pedicure I have ever received. My toe is killing me. She dug into both sides of toenail which did not bother me before and now are very painful. Next is the "trimming" - my nails are completely crooked and uneven. Then there is the polish. Oh my. It's all over my toes and is bubbly. Not to even mention the massage which was bad but whatever. Do not go there. Please save your money and literally go anywhere else. I've never ever posted a review for anything like this (I've only reviewed a couple restaurants). This was my first time going to Ambiance, after I get my nails done i'm always looking for flaws and never get a fill because I can't stand the flaws. I cannot find a flaw in my birthday nails. Kim did a fantastic job. She made sure each extension was straight, the acrylic was smooth, the shape was exactly how i imagined, and my polish is gorgeous. Terrible.. they offer a policy that if your gel set chips within 7 days- u can come back for repairs as if they know it will chip.. and I'll be darned if every nail chipped eventually.. my gel sets usually last at least 2 weeks.. growing out before chipping- but not with this ambiance.. then they were way more expensive than my regular manicurist. This taught me to stick to who I know!! read more

First time at this location. This location is smaller than other locations I've been to previously. I couldn't walk in and get any service but I still got my pedicure within the same day maybe because it's a Friday. My service was done by Katie. She's very polite and professional I can tell she really enjoys and care about her work. I wish she would talk louder it's hard to hear with the mask covering the mouth but that's the only negative thing I had the whole experience. I will be back. read more

I have visited this Colerain location twice now and the gel manicures and gel pedicure that I received were top notch! Tasha was my nail tech for both the mani and the pedi this last time - she is hands down the best I've had at any Ambiance locations and will request her every time (she takes her time, explained what she was doing, and was very thorough... all on top of making me feel amazing and my nails look amazing!). Also, this location is very clean and feels luxurious. I've made an appointment both times and didn't have to wait more than 2-3 minutes to get started. Highly recommend!! read more

Clean establishment but my nail tech did not know what she was doing. Very nice lady but I felt like she was practicing on my nails. The acrylic was super thick and the shape (Oval) was off. Polish was hanging over my cuticles. My assumption is Ambiance is a place where newbies go to learn. They rent a booth and practice. No way that she should've been doing acrylic nails. read more
