My wife and I decided it was time for a home renovation. We had reached out to 4-5 different Builders. Everyone one we spoke to on the phone seemed too "busy" for our business or didn't think we were "real". Until we meet Gary Z from Ambassador Home and Improvement. Not only did Gary come to our house a day after we called his office. He actually completed 2 houses on our block where we could see first hand how amazing him and his companies work actually is. As any couple would do, we had a few other contractors entertain us with their offers and services but didn't feel the way we did when we met with Gary. Gary had set up an appointment for us to meet his team, we were not committed to Ambassador at this point. This appointment, in my eyes, was another way to try to close us. But Gary didn't even talk about the project, it was more of a comfort level check and I 100% appreciated this. A project of this size, the amount of money behind it. It's not something easy. He allowed us ask any questions and emailed us all responses, we had A LOT OF QUESTIONS, but he was able to answer it all. On December of 2021, We were down 2 contractors, Gary's company and the other (wont mention their name). We went to see Gary, meet the team again, mostly all family, which I thought was amazing. After our 6th meeting we finally committed to using Gary and Ambassador Home and Improvement. He then introduce us to Lou T, our architect, another amazing guy in this whole process he was pretty much side by side with us the whole time CAN NOT THANK LOU T. enough for all his efforts and hard work! Doug F. our project manager, Doug was with us the whole ride. Step by step, piece by piece, tile by tile. He would constantly text us with updates or when items would arrive. He even went out of his way several times to meet delivery people at our front door if we weren't available. Great guy, after 6 months of being in our house. We still stay in contact. He answers a lot of my dumb questions. Thanks Doug. Kudos to you. All is all, I rarely write out reviews. But the work and the customer service that Ambassador, Gary, Doug and Lou provide myself and my family was world class and wanted to share this with the public. Working with Ambassador has been an absolute pleasure. It started with Gary who struck us as someone who was honest and easy to work with when we first met him. He gave us a number of ideas for how to go about our home remodeling and extension which got us excited about the project and was transparent about the pricing and where the money for the project would go. The project was, in all honesty, more than what other contractors we met with had quoted us, but after we had met Gary, seen some of his initial ideas for the house, and read some reviews of the company, we felt confident in moving forward. Additionally, Gary's whole team has been brilliant to work with and always warmly welcomed us into the showroom whenever we had questions or needed to go in to pick materials. We also wanted to give a big shoutout to Joe, our project manager for his incredible professionalism, guidance and honesty throughout the project. We had signed the contract prior to COVID so timelines of course were thrown into some disarray, but whenever things looked like they might get delayed, Joe was always there to give us a new updated timeline. Ultimately though, thanks to Joe's ability to stay on top of his contractors and Ambassador's timeliness, the project, once started, got done in quite a timely overall manner. Additionally, like in any larger scale project there were some hiccups, unexpected costs and additional side projects that needed to be addressed, and Joe was great at giving us guidance into what projects needed to be done, or what he thought was worth it and what wasn't, which really saved our family some headache. Of course, the quality of the work in the house has been amazing and about a year since the renovations have completed the house looks as good as when it was first finished. We've received a number of compliments from friends, family and neighbors on the renovations (and especially the kitchen). Not to mention, Ambassador has also been very responsive in dealing with any additional concerns we've had or if anything needed to be fixed or adjusted after the project. We decided to gut renovate our LI home (inside and out) as well as add a dormer before Covid. Knowing this was a huge decision we sat on our plans for a while. We decided to move forward and reached out to many contractors. Some never responded or followed up and others were less than enthusiastic to take on our job. When I was researching online, I came across Ambassador, sent an email to Gary and literally the next day he was at our home going through our plans with great suggestions. Deciding to sign on with Ambassador was the best decision. We were assigned Ryan Monzert as our project manager and he was the best! He was very responsive. Anytime we had an issue or needed to ask a question he ALWAYS answered or got back to us right away. He expedited our job and was always there to check on the work to make sure things were going smoothly. We are very grateful that we chose Ambassador Home Improvement to do a complete gut renovation of our home. They brought our house down to its studs and built it back up even better than we could have imagined. Throughout the entire process, Gary and his team brought a strong and broad background of expertise to our massive project. They were always reachable and responsible.
