We didn't find either unfortunately, but they did have a lot of cool items like SF Niners shoes and even Hellfire Club shoes (IYKYK). We did end up finding some cute Wicked slippers, a purple whale mirror and some travel stuff - all for under $40! I also found this super cute black skull Betsy Johnson purse that I now regret not buying. They already had their Valentine's Day items out too! The store was organized and staff were friendly enough. This location isn't my favorite, but it's still worth checking out!

I'm an old school Italian-American New York City born and raised clothes horse. Always well dressed and groomed. There are no board shorts in my walk-in closet. So with those bona fides I know good clothes from bad. My declaration about this Nordstrom Rack is that it has the most, varied and well priced men's clothes of all the stores in northern California. I've been to the "Racks" in San Francisco, Folsom, Vacaville, Corte Madera, Novato, and my old home town of Santa Rosa Sonoma county. This Howe Ave. store almost shocked me with the bountiful inventory. It took me 45 minutes to speed browse all of the displays. Granted there is a lot of name brand crap that is made in China. But diamonds in the rough can be found. I saw a small number of clothes made in the USA, Italy, France, Canada - You know the good stuff. The one and only disappointment is the shoe department. It's 80% athletic sneakers, running, trail, basketball, etc models. For a moment I though that I was in a Nike outlet. The kind'a shoes I wear, real leather, casual to dressy are in short supply. So I'm almost tempted to rate this store only 4 Yelp stars. But I'll get over myself here. So guys, if you are trying to up your career, work at a higher capacity and pay grade level, improve your clothes style game. This location is actually a lot cleaner and more organized than other locations which was nice! It is located off of Marconi Ave in the same shopping center as Trader Joe's and Five Below. They had a ton of wrapping paper and lots of great items for stocking stuffers and White Elephant gifts. I love finding random items that I never knew I needed! I bought around 8 items for under $60 so it was definitely a good deal! Staff were friendly and the check out line moved quickly!

There's the odd item on the floor left behind by uncaring or reckless customers...especially on busy days, so a bit of care should be exercised when walking the aisles. The place does get crowded, especially on the weekends. Parking feels a bit limited, but of course, a public lot is never under the store's control. The price is reasonable. And the staff, if on hand, are very helpful...trying to be cheerful on crowded, busy days. There's a lot to see, so be prepared to spend an hour or more during your visit. Not a bad place to spend your time...and money.

No toilet paper in any stalls and no soap in any dispensers. I did what I could... then when shopping for the goods, found the best toothbrush ever: say "avada kedavra" to the cavities and plaque building in my mouth! You can select to pick up inside the store or drive up (great for mom's with a baby/kids or seniors) If you're someone like me that goes to Target with the intention to buy 5 things but walk out with 20 things, use this pick up service! You'll save yourself a lot of money and time! Generally, I find Target prices pretty reasonable and sometimes even lower than supermarkets. The second-floor women's department has been drastically reduced and now shares space with childrens', infants', and toy sections. The juniors department, which used to be on the first floor, has been moved to the second floor as well, further shrinking the already limited women's selection. I was very disappointed with how little was available. The only thing I found was a sweater marked down from $46.50 to $14.99, which was a good deal--but that was the extent of my purchase. Overall, this trip felt like a waste of time.

She was saying to some customers, "If you don't have money to pay, don't come to my store." Imagine working at the trashiest Walmart in NorCal and shaming your customer base like that. Imagine thinking you have money because you work at Walmart in Rancho Cordova. I've been to a couple dozen Walmarts across the PNW over the past two years, and this is the only location where the hand soap in the women's restroom quite literally smells like cat urine. That probably sounds made up, but it's not. The hand soap in the women's restroom at this specific location smells like literal cat urine.

I suspect the store manager here instructs staff to come up with BS to refuse returns here to avoid losses and scams. I think it says more about their store/clientele than anything. Located at the Zinfandel Plaza and tucked in between Olson Dr/Folsom Blvd in the heart of Rancho Cordova, this particular Marshalls neighbors their main competitor, Ross as well as a Target store amongst many other retailers and eateries. As many of you know, Marshalls specializes in a variety of department store items; mens/womens/kids apparel, home furnishings, bath & body products, luggage, jewelry, purses, bedding, housewares, and quite a bit of food/coffee. I see them as a slightly more affordable option than their sister store TJ Maxx. If your focus is more towards items for the home (excluding clothing), HomeGoods has much of the same items (but in a much larger variety) while all being part of the same ownership. Out of the few times I have been here (which is mainly during the weekends), I've noticed quite an abundance of customers at any given time. However, their store isn't quite the cleanest as I've seen several articles of clothing on the floor, fitting rooms that look messy, and as much as this pains me to say this, lack of customer service. Retail brick-and-mortar stores like this don't staff a lot of employees which leads to more complaints about a business than actual compliments. Finally, for the majority of their merchandise being new "name-brand" items, there is only a small handful of brands I am familiar with; mostly Calvin Klein, Nike, Ralph Lauren, and Michael Kors. As of 2025, you can get a complete outfit for under $50 which is a nice shirt/sweater, pants/shorts, flip flops/shoes as well as a pack of tees and socks. I am very happy with their towels, bedding, and bathroom items as their quality holds up quite well. All in all, "Marshalls" is a decent place to save a few bucks but nothing special. Therefore, I am rating their (one and only) Rancho Cordova an average 3-stars.
