Super happy to see another health foods/acai and vegan friendly shop pop up in Santa Cruz! I am an…read moreacai bowl fanatic so having the ability to build your own or order one close to him is simply divine. They have a few pre-made suggestions for bowls and you can also build your own. Prices start around $13 for the smallest bowl and makes its way to a larger size that can feed multiple people. I went with their namesake, "The Terra," which was the closest to a traditional acai with healthy nuts/seeds, bananas, strawberries, and almond butter to name a few. My bowl was great and everything tasted fresh and not overly sweet like other acai bowls I've had. I'm also curious in trying their wraps and grain bowls too since they all sound delicious. One small thing we noticed is that they created two of the same bowls but we had each ordered different ones. It wasn't a huge deal since none of us had any particular allergies but make sure to check and see that you got the correct order. Also, it's not Terra's fault but unfortunately, we could smell cigarettes from anyone smoking outside as it seemed to come through some air vents? Hopefully once the area gets more developed that this shouldn't be a problem.

The only part that was strange is the granola, which was overly sweet and largely consisted of rice crispies ... never had that before. Other than the rice crispy-based granola, I enjoyed it. The best bit was the friendly service. They have such a large selection of açaí, so I'll return to try a different version that either doesn't have the granola or ask them to leave it off.

I'm glad I was able to come back again and the food was delicious as ever. I ordered the Feijoada Completa, which I believe is a necessary at any Brazilian restaurant. I would definitely recommend this dish and it's easily shareable. It is a black bean stew with sausages and includes a plate of rice, farofa, slices of orange, and sautéed greens. Farofa is a traditional Brazilian side dish and is made from toasted cassava flour. It's so good and adds a unique flavor and crunchy texture to the dish. Don't forget the hot sauce as well if you want to add some spice to your meal. It packs a nice kick! We sat at the front patio with our dogs and it was a nice day! The service was friendly and attentive, thanks for the great meal!

They serve also acai bowls and some other food, but today my friend and I wanted to try a coffee or a potion drink. My friend got the matcha. It had a slightly sweet flavor but not too sweet because I asked for it less sweet. It was actually very very good. They were served in rustic bowls like a potion. The atmosphere has the mystical alchemy theme throughout with couches, separate rooms and cool hammock chair swings to sit in. Very cool vibe. Customer service was so-so, the staff person at the cashier was indifferent and apathetic, but the person making the drinks was quick and efficient. The drink menu prices were okay, although I spent $20 (including tip) for two mango boba drinks. I think they charge a little too much for toppings. The flavor of the mango passion boba was underwhelming, and I would agree with another reviewer, that the quality of the drinks needs to be improved. Honestly, I didn't really notice much mango flavor, and the drink seemed more watered down. However, I did like the texture of the actual boba and it helped improve the overall drink.
