I tried the matcha and horchata lattes, and both were absolutely delicious! We also ordered a small breakfast burrito and ended up sharing it because the portions are definitely a good size. And I have to say--this is hands-down the BEST breakfast burrito I've ever had! Everything inside is so well mixed, so you get a little bit of everything in every bite, which makes it even better. The menu choices are also right up my alley. The service was just as great as the food. We are regulars to the area and stay between two to four weeks annually. In addition, family live in the immediate area. I've been coming here long enough to remember the beloved Full O' Beans, and all the iterations of this property in between. We were therefore excited to have another walkable breakfast/food option with The Point. We have been reading reviews and found that, on balance, it's been getting solid reviews. We noted a couple of negative reviews about the service, but decided to give it a swing. Headed in tonight at approximately 5:15. It wasn't very busy for a Sat night, and no one was in line. We approached the register ready to order and excited to try the new spot. Unfortunately, the single worker was on an obviously personal call (saying "bro" several times audibly). We were not acknowledged at all- not even with a brief head nod or "I'll be right with you." I'm absolutely certain the employee saw us. We stood around for approximately five minutes, expecting to be helped or at least acknowledged. When it was clear the employee had zero interest in our business, we walked out right in front of him. Not a word. We got coffee and pastries at Julie's place instead. They were happy to help us and the items were excellent as always. We will not be back. Totally unacceptable. read more

We went for dinner which probably was our first mistake since it looks more like a breakfast or lunch place, but thats still no excuse for the sub par food quality. We wanted fish since we're on the coast so I had a seafood captains plate with mixed fried fish. All of the calamari rings were burnt and the fish pieces and shrimp were so overly fried that you could only taste the crunchy crust but you wouldn't even recognize the fish inside. Totally dry and inedible. I wish I would have taken a photo. I don't know how they even had the nerve to serve it. My friend had fish and chips. Although they weren't burned like mine, she said they weren't good and the clam chowder she had was watery and tasted for like a vegetable chowder with the complete absence of any clam flavor. My other friend had shrimp fajitas and she said they weren't great either. We ended up leaving most of our food in the garbage. The only good thing they had were cookies so I would recommend totally skipping this place for lunch or dinner and just going there for coffee or baked goods. read more

This place needs Gordon Ramsay and a therapist. Walked in excited for a smoothie and immediately felt like I interrupted the employee's villain origin story. The attitude was insane. Girl was acting like making two smoothies was the hardest thing she'd ever been asked to do. Then I looked at the blender cups and saw what looked like mold all around the bottom. I just had to sit there and hope the inside was cleaner than the outside because... absolutely not. The best part? So sad to hear all of their vegetarian items that contain rice actually are not vegetarian. Especially when there are so many people that take veganism And vegetarian so seriously for ethical personal and not to mention religious reasons. I am vegan so this saddens me that this makes most everything on the menu except for a salad and smoothie unavailable and makes me Nervous for anything else that claims to be animal free. I was so excited for this place to open so that there was a more local spot for coffee, and the coffee is fine (why I'm giving two stars instead of just one), but I was very disturbed to discover that their "vegetarian" menu items contain meat. I was ordering the "vegetarian burrito" and luckily double checked the ingredients with the cashier, and she asked the cook, who then went to check and came back and told me that their rice is made with chicken stock. She defended them labeling it as vegetarian because there wasn't actually "meat" in it, but it still felt completely unethical to me, because their chicken rice is in all of the burritos they label as vegetarian. Luckily there is a deli next door that has vegetarian/healthy options, so I went there instead. But I think that what they're doing is wrong so had to post a review so that other vegetarians don't end up accidentally eating meat here. The cook said she would change the recipe for their rice, but she wasn't at all apologetic so I don't believe they will reliably do that. read more

This place is a great little gem in Aptos in the Seascape shopping center right across the street from the Seascape resort. They have great food with a huge variety and they serve breakfast all day. They have ice cream that is really good. Reminds me of homemade. They have Açaí bowls with many different options and toppings you can add. Mango bowls look really good as well. They make their own homemade dirty sodas. They serve breakfast all day and the prices are very reasonable. This is a must. Five out of five stars for sure. It's a quiet place very friendly staff and their family owned, which is really nice. I like to support local local businesses. read more
