We enjoy Cafe Brasil, so we decided to give this place a try. The inside is very cute and clean. The employees were kind as well. We ordered the açaí bowl, and it was honestly really good! I would come back just for that alone. We also ordered the Coquetel de Frutas, which is something we enjoy getting at Cafe Brasil. This place also offered sandwiches and bowls. I would like to come back to try those. Definitely recommend this spot if you're in the area. read more

This place is my go to lunch spot! I've been coming here for the last 6 years and am still not sick of it. I always get the classic acai bowl. It is probably one of the best acai bowls I've had. It is the perfect amount of sweet and has a great consistency, though it does melt fast and become a bit soupy (personally I enjoy it that was). The toppings of granola, strawberries and banana are always perfect! I tried the 2 egg rice bowl as well and it is such a simple yet delicious meal! It, however, can be on the dry side. The service here isn't the best but the food makes up for that. There can also be a bit of a wait for things that aren't smoothies or acai bowls. Overall one of my favorite spots to enjoy a meal in Santa Cruz! read more

Great açaí bowls, mediocre other breakfast food. If you're looking for an açaí bowl, this is the place to be! I came here on a Wednesday morning, food was out quickly. - Açaí (organic) bowl: 5/5. This was the star of my order, the açaí was sweet and flavorful but not in an artificial way, and the granola and fruit added nice textures and dimension to the bowl. Strawberries were sweet and yummy. -Breakfast burrito with a tomato tortilla (added bacon): 3/5. The burrito was quite sizable and full of potatoes, eggs, and cheese. There was a bit too much cheese and the burrito felt unbalanced, there's was no salsa, sauce, or "wow" factor that brought the burrito home for me. But if you're looking for something to fill you up, it's pretty good. -Granola smoothie: 1/5. I got this smoothie on a recommendation of a staff member, but I didn't like it at all. The blended granola gave the smoothie a grainy texture, and the strawberry or banana flavors weren't very distinct. It just kinda tasted... blah. Avoid this one. This is a small place, so not very many sitting chairs. The ambiance was friendly and welcoming, playing some Hawaiian tunes and cool vibes. Will be coming back for the açaí bowls for sure. read more

Nice spot to get your smoothie fix. The workers are nice and quick to make your order. I got the vita mango and guava shake. Both were super smooth and creamy, but tasted a bit similar. They were both enjoyable though so I can't complain. I saw another customer get the acai bowl, which looked massive and delish! I'd definitely opt to get that next time. While this isn't the most modern of places, it has a bright and homey feel to it which makes me wanna come back despite these not being the best smoothies I've had! read more

Over this past weekend I found myself craving an açaí bowl. In the past, I have enjoyed the açaí primo bowl at Jamba Juice, but I wanted to continue pursuing my goal to personally seek out small business alternatives. Amazon Juices was a fantastic find. I was greeted kindly by Hannah, the lovely cashier who helped me this Sunday. I informed her that I had never been there before, and she answered my many questions considerately. I definitely wanted to try their açaí bowl, but was between the two sizes they offer. Hannah pointed out the minuscule price difference, which led me to go with the 24oz, and I'm very happy I did. I requested that honey, chia seeds, & coconut be added. It was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite of that bowl. The amount of granola that the bowl comes with was very generous, and the same goes for all the toppings I asked for. Without the toppings I ordered, the price was about the same as the açaí bowl at Jamba juice, except you'll get a higher quantity of better quality ingredients here. My only complaint - No goji berries! I think you guys could really benefit from adding that as a topping option. I know I'd order it. read more

Overall a cute shop and a good place to stop for lunch. SERVICE: they seemed to be understaffed so it took about 20 minutes to get our food, but we weren't in a rush so we didn't mind. they gave us a giant cup of granola when i just asked for extra granola - so nice FOOD: pretty average acai bowls. the breakfast burrito was so big for just $4.95. can't beat those prices. wish that the outdoor dining tables were more clean, but other than that, i had a good experience. read more

If you're looking for a quality fruit smoothie, protein shake or filling açaí bowl, this is the place to go. Although truthfully it's a tiny shop with just enough room to form a single line, all fresh ingredients are on display and you can watch the staff slice and dice while being precise to create your order. If you're in a rush, they take orders ahead of time so you can get in and out quickly. I got the dragon fruit bowl with whey powder, chai with a jungle power smoothie. It was good to watch the staff make my açaí bowl from scratch. The flavor combination of granola, fruits and syrup blend was fantastic. My protein smoothie was delicious and even though there was a good amount of protein powder in it, wasn't very noticeable as the sweet flavors of the berries. Lastly the immunity shot was shocking on the taste buds and had a very pleasant after taste. I'll admit, the price was high, however, I'm glad I gave this place a try because the portions were great and the quality is superb! I will definitely return, I recommend this place if you enjoy protein shakes and açaí bowls as much as I do. Thank you for the hospitality! read more

I've been here a couple of times now, I've tried their acaí bowl, their granola smoothie, all of their empanadas(spinach and cheese one is my favorite), their breakfast burrito, breakfast sandwich, and banana smoothie(so so good!) I have been wanting to try Amazon Juices for a long time. I was craving a smoothie bowl so I decided to try it out. First off, the decor is so fun and cute! Also the employees are very kind and helpful. I ordered the dragon fruit smoothie bowl for $9.75. I thought it was a little pricy at first, but when I saw the size and toppings on the bowl I had no regrets. The smoothie was bright and delicious. The fruit was super fresh. It was very nice and refreshing on a hot day. Overall, Amazon Juices is definitely worth the money. This is definitely going to be a new regular spot for me! read more

I was looking for açaí drink they have it a must try .just biked done street they have plenty of space to park and place is quiet.

Good açaí bowls. Customer service - staff needs training. Walked in, two workers just staring at us. I asked if they were open since no one attempted to take our order. "Are you open?" Just stared. Thought it was strange behavior until I realized the order taker was in the bathroom. I nearly walked out thinking we were just being ignored. read more

Friendly service and an overall pleasant experience. *SCAMMERS* Would put a zero star if I could, far from a real juice spot. They get all their juices pre bottled from Costco, didn't hear not one juicer go off while I was waiting for my juice. I asked him why I see bottles of apple juice out while my order was being made & why I don't see any being pressed & he claimed the juicers were in the back. All while failing to realize I'm no dummy & didn't see them step one foot in the "back". He tried to point at the apples that were sitting in a carton but clearly I know those are used to top their bowl. Whole point is, if you're a real juice head, don't come here or you'll be pissed off at the amount of scam going on there. read more

Friendly staff. Flexibility with ingredients and plenty of drink options. Easy street parking.

This place is awesome. I have a banana allergy which has made smoothie/acai experiences in the past difficult. This place always rinses their blenders before they make my smoothies and I have never had an issue. I really appreciate when businesses choose to be compassionate about something like that. They also carry many gluten-free food options! I would recommend their avocado toast. Totally satisfying! read more

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!! GO TO CLEAN JUICE IN APTOS!! I don't like to Give bad reviews but I'm a paying customer who shouldn't feel unwanted after spending 10min to order a drink and plate. There were 2 Ladies working and 1 customer waiting for her drink order. I waited 10min for the 1 lady to finish making a drink so I could order, while the other employee was organizing bananas.... Just as I was about to leave, the employee finished the customers order and takes my order..... After ordering I asked for my drink first but food came out quick and my drink took some time. I took a few bites and went to go use the restroom. when I came back my chair was gone and the lady said they're closing. They close at 5pm and the lady had the nerve to take my Chair and Stack it while I was in the restroom. 30min before closing!!! I'm also 8 months pregnant with a broken foot, pushing a 1yr old in a stroller. I was patient and tipped and waited but these ladies wanted to get me out and made me feel horrible for spending $20 on a tri tip plate with no meat and no chair for me to eat my meal. The service was horrible, slow and honestly the drink was not good. If you want a real juice/smoothie place go to clean juice in aptos! Tried CLEAN JUICE today after my horrible experience at Amazon Juices... I will NEVER GO TO AMAZON JUICE AGAIN!! From Food to service and ambiance I rate this place 1.... Sorry not sorry read more

Since they opened this place has been my go to joint for the best açaí bowls but today I was gone a small bowl that was about half the size of a small and at a higher price. I think that's called shrinkflation. Disappointing but I guess an açaí bowl can no longer be my quick treat. Now it's an expensive luxury. read more

I went here today at 11am to get a açaí bowl. Normally the bowls are packed with frozen açaí purée and then the toppings. Today the bowl was probably 1/2 full maybe 4oz including the toppings. At $9 it's a very pricey bowl. I wanted an acai bowl not a granola bowl. Maybe the price of acai has skyrocketed and they have to pass it on. But I definitely was disappointed! I will give them another try in the future but if this is the new norm then I will find another place to get my bowls read more

Great place to get healthy but fast food. Service is very good. Satisfied the soul. I recommend this place to anyone.

It was a rough morning... avocado smoothie with soy will melt the crankiness away. Came here on a whim and was able to get an avocado smoothie without the crazy line. Nom Nom Nom Nom. Such a different vibe than Mission Street-- less stress. Warning- not a lot of parking on the street and its near apartment complexes that tow! You have been warned. read more

We came to get some açaí bowls and found this place to be the best option based on Yelp. A friend got the dragonfruit bowl and I got the açaí bowl. They tasted like icy water with a hint of fruit. But mainly water. Not the best especially for the price I would expect better flavor. Toppings were also not sufficient for the size of the bowl, I asked for extra banana and no strawberries and maybe have like 10 banana slices? Overall disappointing. My friend also had two major ice cubes in her bowl that probably took up 1/3rd of her bowl of straight ice cubes. Attached is the photo of one of her massive ice cubes in her bowl. Would not recommend and will not return. read more

FOOD POISONING **GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT FOOD QUALITY OR CUSTOMER SERVICE*** IF YOUR FOOD IS BAD, TOO BAD FOR YOU, THEY DONT CARE*** I usually like this place. The açaí bowls are usually good and I usually get the breakfast sandwich. I tried to switch it up today and got a breakfast burrito. After eating the first 1/4 of the burrito I could tell something did not taste right. I called to tell them it was bad and asked to speak to the manager. I was told she'd call me back. She never did. I called again and got the OWNER CLAUDIA FROTA and she told me "sorry" and hung up on me. I drove down there with the bad breakfast burrito and asked for the owner CLAUDIA FROTA and I explained the same thing again to her in person. She again said "sorry" with an attitude and walked away. I said, this burrito is bad.. she said "sorry" and pointed to to the sign on the wall that said "we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone." I was like, wait what??? You didn't reserve the right when you took $30.00 for my food earlier?? That doesn't even make sense??? Your food is BAD and you're not going to remedy the problem by fixing it, giving my money back, giving me a credit, OR MOST OF ALL APOLOGIZING????? Nothing.... I asked the girl behind the counter if that's how they handle bad food situations normally? She said she just works there and that's beyond her knowledge. She was just a worker there, working under CLAUDIA. (I have now been told by others that is how CLAUDIA conducts business.) **READ THE OTHER REVIEWS*** you'll see a theme..The rest of the day my stomach was bad and jacked up. I was so infuriated I could not believe that is how they handle their customers and did not right their wrong.. I told them what I thought of them with some choice four letter words. WARNING if your $10.00 burrito is bad and gives you FOOD POISONING or if it's just not right, THEY WILL NOT APPOLOGIZE, or DO ANYTHING TO REMEDY THE PROBLEM. My next call is to the BETTER BUISNESS BUREAU. ** THEY ALSO OWN CAFE BRAZIL ON THE WEST SIDE ON MISSION STREET. SAME OWNERS. read more

They have changed the game on juice shops. Not your normal juice store, leave enough time to read over all the add on's they have. Every healthy natural element you could think of. Don't just come for the extensive juice menu. The breakfast sandwiches, burritos, bowls, lunch burritos, bowls, and sandwiches are all uniquely amazing and keep me coming back. The guy ringing me up was definitely a plus, (Brazilian?) And he seemed to enjoy telling the customers about the ingredients they used and answering any questions we had. Store was very clean and bright inside. They have a few tables outside to eat. Service was fast. Tri-tip sandwich I got was hot and so delicious I had to close my eyes while I ate it to decrease the distractions. Definitely a fan girl of Amazon Juices now. Been here many times before getting various açaí bowls (so delicious) but decided to switch it up this time and get a combo. I ordered the combo #3 which is a lunch burrito (chicken or tri-trip... I got tri-tip) and a light juice (I got mango). The burrito was pretty good just a little bland, wish it had some salsa or other flavor. I enjoyed the mango juice! Probably wouldn't get the burrito again but still huge fan of acais. read more

We got the 24 oz Açaí and Dragon bowls for three people to share. The açaí bowl was incredibly classic and had a wonderful tartness to it. The fruit was fresh in both bowls. The dragon bowl was surprisingly fresh and wasn't overly sweet which we all really enjoyed. If you don't like coconut flakes though that might not be the bowl for you since there was a heaping scoop on top. My expectations were really high which is why I'm rating it really low. For a "24oz" bowl for $9.76 this was a ripoff...pictures talk louder than words and I've got the receipts to back it up. I ordered their dragon fruit bowl. When I took the first bite it tasted like coconut flakes and granola with a hint of ice. I took off 2 tbsp of coconut flakes to get to the bottom of the actual dragon fruit and the next bite was strawberries with granola and a hint of ice. So I dug deeper to look for the dragon fruit and found it half way. The bowl basically is half granola half dragon fruit which the dragon fruit is not even good it taste more like blended colored ice. I want my money back I could of made a bowl of granola with blended ice...never again. Don't be fooled! read more

Idk why this place doesn't have more reviews but Amazon Juices is the real deal. Their Acai tastes different from other spots (in a good way). Their bowls are MASSIVE and it's cheaper than other spots like Vitality Bowl and Bowl of Heaven. You get more for you buck here. We got the Acai Bowl and the Marajuca Bowl. If you had an Acai bowl, you kinda know what to expect. The Marajuca bowl is a little in the sour side. I believe it's cause of the passionfruit.
