It's called Amazon FRESH for a reason. Everything is literally fresh. I've only been here once but it was so nice. They have so many different food options and it's a lot cheaper than my local Ralph's. They even have a salad bar and fresh sushi section. The employees were super nice and I will definitely be coming back. :) read more

After waiting for 15 minutes for my pizza, it is not ready. They have not made it, and I had to wait another 15 minutes for it. After I got my pizza, it was just unsatisfactory! The pizza looked ugly, deformed, and not well made. The chicken topping was very little. The whole pizza looked like they did not put in any effort in making it. Incomparable to the delicious looking ones for others to buy in slices. Which was what attracted me to buy the whole pizza in the first place. read more

CUSTOMER SERVICE LIVES ON!!! Thank you to Sandy. Great humans are hard to find and even harder to find in retail. Sandy went above and beyond, showing me how the carts worked (unsolicited) as she could see my hand cart unintentionally piling up (so much good stuff). I will be back, but wanted to thank you in the meantime! Your kindness is absolutely noticed and appreciated! read more

I love Amazon. My husband and I shop on Amazon quite frequently. So I got really excited about Amazon fresh because that meant having quicker access to Whole Foods products. The closest Whole Foods to me is downtown LA and Amazon fresh has some of the most affordable vegan products which I'm always looking for. This is my second time going to Amazon fresh and here's what I have to say WHAT I LIKE: The electronic carts are really cool because you can really calculate how much you are spending/putting in your cart but it's not a perfect system. There are some products that the cart does not recognize and there is no code to input for some products so you have to see a cashier The layout is nice, lots of rare fruit and vegetable available. Prices are comparable to other grocery stores. Affordable vegan items WHAT I STRONGLY DISLIKE: The excessive amount of paper bag usage. Every electronic cart Is loaded with paper bags, and each paper bag is double bagged. They also automatically start bagging your groceries. Which I don't mind but I don't prefer, because I am trying to be more environmentally friendly and again it's just an excessive amount of paper bags. That's Amazon for you I guess LOL. The reason I'm giving it a lower review as opposed to a four or five, it's simply because of the professionalism of the staff. The stuff is pretty young. A lot of them look like early 20s- late high school age. They mostly spend the time talking to one another. They don't greet you, And they definitely don't know how to code the produce just yet. For example, I bought beefsteak tomatoes and it wasn't until I got home that I realized it was coded as tomato on the vine which is more in price. Same with my lettuce. I am giving them grace because it might be that they are just getting the hang of all the coding which I definitely understand for a new grocery store but they also don't ask the customer exactly what kind of tomatoes they bought or what kind of lettuce they just assume the basic. It's imperative that they start talking to the customer more, asking the customer exactly what they bought when coding, and not just rely on Alexa to do all the customer service for them. read more

Relly nice place nice food good service its honestly a really nice place to good to highly recommend!

Came here for the first time and was impressed with the set up and ease of use. I didn't get a chance to use their "cool" digital carts, as I was doing a pretty big shop (the digital carts are recommended for about 15 items or less). I was thoroughly impressed by their meat and seafood cases and the overall organized and neat feel of the store. The layout was great and the store really flows. The one thing that that I didn't like was how empty a lot of the shelves were. It seemed as if they were sold out of many items and even heard a customer complaining to a manager about this very thing. They might try to keep their shelves stocked a little better if they want their shoppers happy. You can order ahead through your Amazon account and they'll have your items ready for you! That's super convenient. I got a $10 off coupon upon checkout and thought that was pretty neat. I think they should reward prime members with some sort of point system or "spend x amount and get x amount off" type program. Everyone likes being rewarded for buying. read more

The fruit was selected totally fresh and of good quality. Excellent service and the most important thing is that they deliver the order to you the same day!!! I sincerely recommend it. read more

Pros: Neat, clean, easy to find items Cons: Slow service, prices higher than regular markets. I'd rather go to Target or something. I wouldn't come here again unless I had no other option because the selection of items is limited and they're priced high. Also, the employees in the Kitchen/Pizza area had no clue what they were doing. I was waiting to order at the counter and the 3 ladies working there just looked at me and continued talking to one another for a good minute until I asked if I could order lol. They need to up their training or hire better people. read more

I just had the best experience at Amazon Fresh. I had ordered some groceries for pick up. They have you check in 10 mins before you get there. Then once you're there you let them know which stall you're in. She was out in like a minute. Lol I made it there and back in 15 mins read more

I came here with high expectations, after all, Amazon is a brand that we all know and love and by far the richest food retailer by market cap. However, besides the gimmicky shopping carts with screens and the easy return and exchange for Amazon orders, I was very underwhelmed. It's just another supermarket, and not even a fancy one at that. I would recommend the Trader Joe's right down the street instead of this joint. read more

The girl at the return counter was very unhelpful and lazy on 4/4/23 @ 8:15pm. She told me I couldn't return 3 out of 4 items with out calling customer service. I canceled the original return and made a new one in about 6 mins. Lazy person. read more

Amazon Fresh - Inside the store. - Grocery Near Me - Whittier, California

I went here to return some items I bought online and the service was great there. My fiancé got some hot foods and we went to go checkout. We had this rude lady at the cashier who looked like she didn't even wanna work there. There was no hello after we said hello and she got even more rude when she said , "NO! We don't accept Apple Pay here". We were taken aback and that made us really comfortable. Amazon, are these the kind of workers you have here at the cashier? This lady was working at Lane 5 at around 11:15am on December 2, 2022 btw. read more

Fun! But the cart is a bit too small for me, i need at least two cart size . I opt for the fun Amazon cart. Scan my app in Amazon and off i go! The place is practically like a whole food but with more Of the grocery items. Their price is very fair. I went on opening night. 1/14 around 8:45pm. They close at 11. Not too many people. Easy to navigate. But it does get tricky the first time. There's one way path on the aisle (i don't think anyone follows them...) i did LOL (at least for the time being) When i was done i dash out of there on the designated lane(green zone) No need to take out my phone or wallet. Off i go! THe only thing is. I didn't even pay attention to how much i spend in till i got home n ck my order on Amazon app. Great fun friendly place. read more

The market is amazing! All the employees are super helpful and friendly. Their made to order pizzas are incredibly delicious and tops many Italian restaurants. I'd give five stars but they don't give rain checks on ad specials if out-of-stock like other markets do. read more

Bright, clean and friendly employees. Very competitive prices. I love the option to order groceries for pick up, although I haven't used this service. I did use the DashCart and it's a brilliant idea! These carts fit 2 paperbags, so don't plan on putting tons of items in it. They are designed for smaller shopping trips. read more

Great experience. I like all of the high tech shopping stuff. There are a lot of options too. Vegan, organic, or just your regular old super market choices. This will definitely be apart of my regular grocery runs, especially where I can take advantage of the prime benefits. Finally popped in here to see what the hype was. Place was nice. Everything was well packaged and presented. The electronic cart was easy to use after a quick tutorial by a very helpful employee. Easily scanning your items and weighing produce for you. Wherever you go in the store the cart would tell you what items were on sale nearby. We went at 6pm on a Saturday and was empty. The only thing was we kept running into employees pushing carts filling orders. Felt like every time I turned a corner I would almost get hit by a worker cart. I took off a star because the prices weren't great. I wouldn't go out of my way to shop here. I would go here for returning Amazon items. Overall a fun experience. read more

First time visiting Amazon Fresh. Pleasant experience, prices are compatible with other grocery chain. Went there to try smart cart, it auto scan even hot food items. They have rotisserie chicken , organic milk, and poke bowl. read more

I find the price of produce to be very reasonable and it is fresher than other grocery stores. I like the cuts of meat and the products. There is a good variety of hot and prepared food. My favorite time to go is when I have a coupon. Usually the coupon is for 10$ off 40$. read more

Employees here are friendly but this bad review is specifically for the manager Jordan that was working at the time. Never again will shop here because of him. I'm a mom and was shopping with my toddler after a long day of work. Spent an hour at the market going around the store and getting everything I needed. We had a cart full of items. I left my cart for about 10 mins are so because I had to grab 1 last item from the meat area. Came back to the cart and it was completely missing. By the time an employee had found the manager that took my cart... more than half my items were gone. He repeatedly said it was left unattended and it was gonna go bad. What angers me most is that he was so unapologetic and so unhelpful. The least he could have done was to help retrieve some of the things he put away. He kept saying it was gonna go bad... I'm sorry.. I've never see. Yogurt and eggs go bad in 10-20 mins. Being a full time working mom and getting errands done with a child is enough work in itself. To have someone show zero customer service and kindness is so disappointing. I normally do this At all markets I go to.. it's too hard to lug around a cart and a child while you're getting items so I leave at the end of an aisle, grab a few things and come back and it's never never an issue. Never again will I shop here read more

I always have a wonderful experience at Amazon Fresh Whittier store. The produce is fresh and looks amazing. The food in the food court is hot and made daily. My favorite items are hot wings and salad bar. The cashier Laz is always friendly and has a wonderful attitude. He is courteous, polite, cheerful and has great customer relation skills. He was patient and walked me through using my Amazon app on my phone to pay for my groceries. If you ever have an opportunity to visit this store, you will see for yourself the great shopping experience. read more

Great food, great people and service. The place is always immaculate and the staff is very attentative.

nice store. but your customer service is substandard. arrogant, snooty, and unfriendly staff to include the folks at customer service. so, i will assume that the manager/supervisor lacks leadrship skiils and customer service... not cut out for the job because it reflects in the employee's attitudes. out of 10 employess only 1 was cordial. sorry you have to work there. i should have gone to vons or ralphs instead. read more

Went in yesterday, stopped at the meat counter and asked how much is the turkey patties? The two employees looked at me confused. I pointed at the turkey patties, they did not know the difference between turkey and beef patties. I again asked for the price of the turkey patties. Never got a price! Never mind,I said. asked to speak to the manager of the meat department, I explained to him, his employees didn't know the difference between turkey and beef. He said oh well, they're in training. I said it's obvious They need more training. bought some potato salad, more like green and purple onion salad, no flavor, just bad. Go to check out, my groceries were bagged, leaving out the sushi. I asked can you put the sushi in a plastic bag? She replied, we don't have plastic bags. As she continues to speak to the gentleman behind me, never paying attention to what I am asking her. She then put a produce plastic bag on the counter and walked away. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND RUDE. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THAT MARKET AGAIN! FIRST AND LAST TIME. I'D RATHER DRIVE TO RALPHS MARKET. WHER I CAN GET QUALITY SERVICE. read more

Prices are much higher than the prices at Ralphs or Stater Brothers. Their beef--especially what they call tri-tip--is particularly disappointing. Same with their 80/20 hamburger. Produce is unimpressive. Thanks for the coupons, Amazon, but I won't be coming back. read more

The lady at the Dask cart check out was super condescending will never go back there again

I am in the seasoning section & I ask an amazon worker if she knew if where the garlic powder was. She replied that she was on a time-limit & as she was shopping for a pick-up. Anyhow, i asked her if she could get me some help, and she replied that she could not help me at the moment and to go ask another amazon employee for help. Sprouts, which is down the the street would have never brushed me off like that. I will never shop at amazon fresh because obviously, the workers don't help the customers. Basically she meant to let me know that she was too busy to help me (because she obvioysly didn't want to be bothered - god-forbid she does her job & help a customer find a product, right?). I left the store disgusted, lefty groceries in the cart, & drove straight to Sprouts. Guess what? Sprouts went out of their way to help find certain items. No thank amazon fresh & thank you Sprouts. read more

Today I went to Amazon fresh in whittier CA. I went to by meat in the meat department. The employee was helping so many customers. She was the only one working there they should have more people helping . There was so many customers that the employee couldn't do everything at one being overwhelmed. Then The manager just looks at the employee and does nothing but stand there. I understand some employees call out or dont show up but The manager knowing that there was no one else helping should have jumped in and helped instead of doing nothing. Amazon you need to talk to your managers who are getting paid to literally do nothing. One of the Manager name is Kristin. More dogs in this grocery store than at the dog park. I love dogs. I've had dogs all my life. I just don't think they belong in a grocery store. Employees at this store don't acknowledge your existence - kind of like this 'hipster, I'm too cool for you attitude.' Couldn't hear a word the checker was saying. Absolutely no eye contact. Made no effort to raise his voice and just looked like he really didn't want to be there. I'll stick with Vons right across the street. read more

Delivery is never at the time indicated. NEVER! For example they say we will drop off your groceries between 10am-noon. HOWEVER, come to find out they dropped off groceries at 11:30 PM the night before. Plus they put groceries in front of a busy condo so they can be stolen easily? If they do drop them off right in front of my actual condo door, I don't get a knock on the door & the frozen stuff I have been waiting for melts. read more

The store is very clean an organized. Very spacious & not so crowded full of people like food for less is ... that's the only good thing I can say about this store . Now what pissed me off was the employees , the cashiers . They were rude & seem like they didn't know what they were doing . I went to lane number 6 & I could see there were about 4 employees trying to help one customer . I was standing there for a long time until they told me to move to lane number 7 that some else can help me .. I waited in lane #7 & all 4 employees were still ignoring me still trying to help the same customer in lane number 6 .. the girl told me to now go to lane # 2 . At this point I'm pissed because it shouldn't take 4 employees to help 1 customer & ignore me another customer who is trying to pay & check out . As they transfer me for the 3RD!!! Time !! To lane # 2 this other girl says "sorry only debit & credit only " & I only have cash , so now I'm furious I ended up saying "you know what I'm leaving the cart of groceries here ! & I'm not coming back again " & I left the store with no groceries. So advice to whoever helped me , make sure you take care of a paying customer as soon as possible & not ignore them . Don't leave them waiting & then shoo them off to 3 other lanes & the lanes were all empty so there isn't a reason why I should've waited so long to be helped . I was the only one . Well actually I wasn't helped , but you know what I mean . & I don't understand why lane #2 was only accepting debit/credit only .. all your lanes should accept every form of payment & all the ladies at lane #6 , it shouldn't take 4 of you girls like 30mins trying to help a customer . What ever issue you guys had you guys should've been trained properly to handle it & not ignore other customers having them wait . One of you ladies should've stopped what you were doing to Help me check out , cuz the other 3 girls could've still continued to help the other customer with what ever problem they were having . read more

i was very impressed with this store. i prefer the traditional shopper method and encountered no issues. staff is very friendly and willing to help in any way. there seems to be a lot of management presence. i like the many different types of food and a lot of quick cook items. microwave or oven bake for complete meals. the deli is incredible. the prices are comparable to all the surrounding major grocery stores. the difference here is that you will almost always have a $20 off $40 purchase which is really a great savings. store is very clean and well organized. great place to shop. read more

Horrible experience tried the Amazon cart for the 2nd time it was pretty convenient until the end. I went to check out it said there was an error with my payment the guy there took me out of there to the register had to rescan everything in the cart I paid with the same form of Amazon barcode and we kept asking did it go through he did not answer once he put the receipt in the bag i realized we were good to go he put the bags in a cart that I can take to my car.. I realized there was a couple items missing went back to the store was standing like a dumba** had to Interrupt him and ask if we left a bag since I was missing a couple items all he said was I put it in the bag. So I walked out to then see him come out with a bag don't think I'll ever go back. read more
