Great new store in a convenient location! Ample parking, curbside delivery spots, plenty of carts including their high-tech Dash Cart, and well maintained lot and interior. The store carries everything you'd need for a regular grocery run. Keep checking their weekly ads as some great deals are to be had almost every week. The produce is fresh and on point, the employees look like they enjoy working there, and the shelves are abundantly stocked with staff replenishing in every aisle. You can also return Amazon stuff here and they reward you with a coupon. read more

For a while, I had been wanting to visit this store. One day, I drove by, so I stopped in. I was pleasantly surprised by the store. The parking was convenient and ample. The store was clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate, which made grocery shopping feel a little more exciting than usual. The good pricing on some items was also a benefit. The produce looked fresh, prices were reasonable, and I liked the mix of name-brand items and Amazon's own products. The checkout process was quick and convenient, and I did not need a bonus card to take advantage of the special deals. Overall, it felt like a modern, no-frills grocery store that makes running in for essentials fast and easy. I am looking forward to shopping there again. read more

Brand spanking new in White Oak Town Center! I had heard good things so I decided to check them out for myself a few days ago. I had a good experience. Plenty of parking. Very clean and organized store. There were helpful and friendly employees. Shout out to Kojo! The produce was fresh! The prices are so reasonable. Not what I expected but in a pleasant way! The hot bar has an array of options. Tried a little from different cuisines and everything tasted wonderful. It was also affordable, and great for grabbing something on the go. I tried the Mac and cheese (4/5), Taquito (5/5...7/11, watch out), Samosa (5/5 and a complete surprise), roasted brussel sprouts (4/5) and beef stir-fry (4/5). Not bad at all considering it was $6 and some change. The soup didn't look that good. The produce looked fresh and the employees were helpful. I'll make it a point to come by and take time to look through their other items. They also had a sushi bar that looked appetizing and the prices were fairly affordable. If you haven't set up Amazon One there may be some difficulties checking out, but otherwise it was smooth. read more

New store in town. They mailed me some discount coupons, so I gave it a try. I will be comparing it to my usual groceries, Aldi and Lidl, because that appears to be the market tier they're targeting. It's in a new shopping center that faces inward, so you have to be alert for the entrance. The easiest way to give directions is that it's right across the street from the MVA. Once in, big parking lot with some chain eateries and a few small businesses. FIrst impression, much more open than the competition, wider aisles and a less stressful shopping experience. They have a bakery, hot food bar, and sushi. I found most of what I had on my list. Missing pickled beets and wax beans. I also didn't see the slightly exotic vegetables such as shallots and fennel (Lidl), but I wasn't really looking for them. Prices were comparable to Aldi and Lidl, with the exception of eggs at $7. One difference is that national brands are available as well as the house brands. And instead of dodging millennial with their faces buried in their phones (Whole Foods), you will be dodging shoppers filling pick-up orders. The latter are far more polite. Very tech oriented. The shoppers have phones that let them do multiple orders at once, the shelf price tags are digital, and you can get a cart that scans your selections as you shop to skip the checkout. Must be popular, there was only one person ahead of me. They are running a promotion on Wednesdays where you can buy the basics of a meal cheap. In this case, house brand spaghetti, pasta sauce, and parmesan cheese for $1. Yes, one US buck. Taco, curry, pizza, mac & cheese, chili starters are listed, it's not clear if this amazing deal continues past the Grand Opening. I will probably be back even though it's a bit further away than my usual stores. And of course I have not had a chance yet to taste their house brands. So four stars for now possible upgrade based on taste tests and my next shopping list. read more

I had some high hopes for this. I was hoping it'd be more high end like wegmans but seems to be more... um... I dunno... I feel like aldi's would be too much credit for this. I had to pick up some stuff for my wife's lunch and got a salad and a panini sandwich so she can choose. The salad looked fresh but the bottom apparently was slimy and moldy the next day. The panini tasted super off and was gross soggy. Also, trying to shop around was hard because there was a lot of empty boxes and carts just laying around the isles making it hard to navigate. Also, I guess the store is also a warehouse because Amazon employees are moving about gathering stuff off the shelf so sometimes I felt bad like I was in their way. read more

I'm mixed about this place. But what I'm having mixed feelings about doesn't seem like it could detract stars from this place overall. In the end, you have to remember it is nothing more than a grocery store. Yes, it is Amazon, but it is essentially a grocery store. I was out doing my weekly grocery run and decided to stop here to pick it all up, or at least try to. I know of the concept of an Amazon Fresh, but have never experienced one until now. Like I stated, it is a grocery store, right down to the annoying parking lot. Let me touch on that first. It is a grocery store, it is Amazon, you don't have to park like you were running into grab your delivery. Next time, please allow enough room next to my vehicle so I can get into it. Why did you have to park that close, this isn't online where the item will be out of stock in two seconds. End rant (also, that's probably the worst part about this place, the other customers thinking they are in more of a hurry than you are). The setup to the store, to me, feels a little off, but somehow still flows. Bread, produce, and meats are the first things that greet you when you enter the space. While dodging the grocery getters grabbing items from online order you can easily make your way through here. I have to say, I was a little sad that I didn't get one of the fancy carts that scanned your items as you put them in, but I wasn't that sad about it because at the end I used self checkout. I came with a list here and was able to get just about everything. Little more time consuming to find, but that was my fault coming to a new to me store. I will say that the pricing is competitive for groceries. Some items were well below what you would expect to find in other chains in the area. I was able to snag a family size bag of Kettle Chips for less than a regular sized version in other stores (albeit, this was probably a sale for that week and may not be the same when I go back). In the end, after ringing everything up, I spent about what I would have expected elsewhere. Convenient...maybe. But only if I come this way for my grocery run. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here, but I wouldn't hate it because of that. What I do like is the checkout process, linking to your Amazon account at the register really makes it quicker. read more

This is one of the bigger Amazon fresh locations in the area. Large isles and selections. The prices are low and competitive. The selection isnt as extensive as Whole Foods but it'll get the job done. Their pickup area is a lot bigger and more efficient than other Amazon locations which was nice. Service was fast and friendly. Easy to find and plenty of parking.. would recommend if you use amazing and would definitely come back. read more

We visited today as part of their Tailgate Party event and managed to get free wings, chili bowl, snack boxes, stickers and coupons for our next visit. You can get $10 off $100 worth groceries at Amazon Fresh and with high prices these days - I will gladly accept the discount. The store is always clean and well stocked. We also got to see other families shopping. read more

This Amazon Fresh store is huge. We really didn't need any groceries but were curious to check the store out since we were in the area. There is plenty of parking in a large open lot. Entering the store I was overwhelmed at the size. At the entrance are the vegetable and delli departments. There was selection of ready made meals and some vats of soups. A lady was stocking up on some of the soups and they looked really good. We started down the back aisle by refrigerator items. I have to confess I don't pay a lot of attention to prices, but Rich noticed his yoghurt drink was less expensive than the grocery stores, about the same price as Lidl's. I checked out some brownie mix and it was cheaper than the on-line Amazon. The store was bright and clean. We saw in one woman's cart a high-tech checkout system, which we're curious to find out more about. One of these days I will put on my hiking boots and go back to explore more. Maybe after finding more about the high-tech checkout, making some purchases and walking more aisles we will jump our rating up to a five star. read more

My mother waited in the loading area for 30 minutes just to be told that the moronic employees had given her groceries that had already been paid for to another person due to their extreme lack of awareness. She returned home and was left on hold for 20 minutes just to be told she won't be getting a refund but she can go back to the store to get new groceries loaded to the car. The staff refused this and she was forced to get the groceries herself and pay for them all over again. This establishment is run and operated by absolute children and I do not recommend anyone goes here if you actually want to receive your groceries on time. DO BETTER read more

It's far from "Fresh"! A lot of items are either past or very close to expiration dates. I was babysitting and parents said to pick up some macaroni & cheese. Every box on the shelf was past the expiration date. (It's still fine to eat, as it's all processed crap anyway, but they shouldn't be selling it.) As far as meats, I checked stew meat - 2 days past the Use By Date; chicken breasts Use By was that day. I asked an employee to help me locate packaged deli meat. He had no idea where it was. A lot of shelves were empty (not near a major holiday or snowstorm or any other excuse). I had to return a paperback book I'd been gifted, so I had used that as my excuse to visit the store. The guy at the returns slapped a big sticker on the front of the book, thereby damaging it. When I asked why he'd do that to a perfectly good book, he just stared at me then tried to rip the sticker off and put it on the plastic bag he was putting the book in. Of course, he also tore the book cover in the process. It seems like this is a warehouse masquerading as a grocery store. My guess is they couldn't put a warehouse at this location, so they likely took advantage of tax incentives and call it a grocery store. Some prices are good, but overall, I don't think I'll ever go back. There are a lot better grocery stores within a mile or two. read more

Updated review: I have since returned to the Amazon Fresh several times after my initial visit. the service has been exemplary each time from each employee. The store is clean and well organized. This is a great thing for Amazon Fresh but not the consumer, which is that they seem to be sold out of a lot of essentials. The atmosphere of the restaurant is really good and inviting. The staff here is also super friendly and attentive. I've been here about 3 times now. The presentation of the food is wonderful and it does taste good, however, I'm rating it a 4 because I feel like it lacks seasoning at times. Specifically, the Maxx Burger (pictured) and the calamari (not pictured). The key lime pie is really delicious! Definitely a highlight if you choose to go. read more

I've ordered from Amazon fresh online, but this was my first brick and mortar experience. Prices not markedly different from where I usually shop really strange selections in the meat department. Some things I was looking for not available like a Colavita white balsamic vinegar for example. Trying to check out was a little bit of a nightmare. There was only one manned checkout line therefore, there was a very long line a long wait, so I decided to take my chances with self check out, which is always problematic. It was not a very easily understood system. It wouldn't accept my phone number as having an Amazon account which I have had for years. It would not take electronic wallet payment even for an Amazon Chase Visa card. Finally, I was able to pay with the physical Amazon Visa card at the end for a whopping four dollars discount on what I Purchased. This store will not become my regular grocery store. read more
