I love this store and Amazon but had to give them a one because they couldn't exchange a kindle for me with out the receipt. I didn't want money back just an exchange. After waiting for the initial hype to calm down and go away, stepped into this once nice and convenient whole foods into a completely different scenario. And not impressed to say the least. First, theres about a 80/20 amazon to-go order runners to actual customers. I have to constantly be careful to not bump into one of the cart drivers looking at their phone trying to fill infinite orders. Second, certain aisles are very poorly stocked, and the variety is not even close to what a supermarket should be. So many missing items, and brands. It was gotten a bit better but besides literally handful of items I need, not much to come find here...yet. The only good thing is being right off the freeway instead of going a half mile to the jungle complex near porter ranch street. Prices-----all over the fucking place. You have some items at a steal...then some leave your head scratching at how expensive they are compared to just about any market ralphs/wal-mart/sprouts/trader joes etc. I just take a normal cart, no time for the electronic coded sensor crap, and like I said, dont see filing up basket the items and variety just not there yet. Ive made my list, taken mental pics of what they have that I cant live without, few staple/novelty items here and there scattered, and decent produce but didnt venture that section yet. Long way to go, but the delivery orders flying out the shelves...hence, the wack-ass stock not having time to replace. Why cant shit just be left alone like the old whole foods? I love Amazon Fresh. Not only do they have affordable groceries but they also have a butcher counter, bakery and a selection on pre-made meals and salad bar. Also if they have a counter set up mainly for Amazon purchases that need to be returned; before I would have to drive to Kohl's or go to the UPS store to return my unwanted Amazon purchases . I am impressed with the store and am so grateful one opened up in my neighborhood! read more

I love this place. It isn't for bulk items but for regular day to day stuff it's great....and OMG. I love pizza. 8.99 for a hot fresh delicious pizza sounds too good to be true but it is true! I highly recommend their pizza. The only downside is a lack of toppings as far as variety goes. read more

The store is mostly crowded by Amazon employees shopping for others. I found the concept to be great but not to physically shop there- I would order for delivery. I literally had to traverse around the personal shoppers - overly crowded. The store is set up like any other grocery store with the exception of the electronic carts that keep tabs on the items placed in there. It's not made for too many groceries thought. The capacity is about 2 bags. Most people shop for more than 2 bags worth. Very cool concept nonetheless. It's good to know if I ever need groceries delivered that it's there but I wouldn't go there to physically shop again. Also super cool that your can return Amazon bought goods there at the counter without boxes or labels. read more

Smaller footprint than the Woodland Hills one, keeps the original Whole Foods aisle spacing, so there's more a packed in feeling. In these COVID times, makes for less safe feeling when shopping here, otherwise same features as the other one (which took over a Toys R Us store). This market is the new kid on the block in my zip code, and it definitely is my LEAST FAVORITE. Prices? Everyone's prices are exorbitant these days and you just have to suck it up and buy fewer and cheaper items at any store. Prices here are comparable to those of their local competitors. Hey, we all could stand to lose a few pounds, right? Anyway, Amazon Fresh is derelict in its customer experience for in-store shoppers. Because (apparently) it caters to delivery and pick-up orders, in-store customers seem to be vastly outnumbered by AF employees with huge trolleys jamming the aisles in order to fill large numbers of shopping bags with delivery/pick-up orders. It is extremely burdensome for in-store shoppers to be blocked at every turn by the unwieldy trolleys and oblivious employees concentrating on grabbing items from the shelves for customers who are not even there (so when there are shortages, as there frequently are, guess who doesn't get the prize?). In the hot food/deli section, even advertised specials can take 20-30 minutes to "come out of the oven" and don't even think about ordering a so-called pizza ("Sorry, we don't have those toppings today.") The produce section is a hoot: the stuff is not fresh, out-of-stock items are "replaced" in the display cases with items priced much higher without a hint to customers, and the numerous produce employees (also with loaded trolleys which allow no room for actual humans to shop) don't even notice customers, or the customers' discomfort and frustration, as they enjoy hilarious repartee among themselves -- this happens at whatever time of day I elect to shop. Oh, and of course they charge for bags (and most of the cashiers make you bag your own purchases if you bring bags). And oh yes, parking. LOL!!! There are a great many merchants in this shopping center (including a busy post office); the parking lot is not large and parking always has been iffy. Now, though, AF has commandeered and reserved a large number of spaces for pick-up customers. On the occasions when I've visited this AF, I've been forced to take up a parking spot near the UPS store or the Jack in the Box. Why would I shop there? Good question! I was aware that this enterprise had opened but I have established shopping habits at the other local markets, so I'd never visited AF until they started mailing out irresistible discount offers. I'm retired and my budget is grim, so saving a third on my total purchase means free food to me and I can't pass up that opportunity. But I haven't received any great offers for several days; I won't shop there again unless/until they make me an offer I can't economically refuse. If that happens I'll put on my body armor and do my best to avoid being run over by the potato trolleys. I gave this place two stars instead of one because of the promo coupons they sent me. But when forced to pay full price I will avoid this place at all costs. It gives me headaches. read more

If there is someone cleaning the bathroom, I hope you aren't having an emergency. I went in the bathroom to ask if I could use it while the lady was cleaning because I was having an emergency. She just pointed to the sign and was shaking her head, and I told my situation, and she just turned her back on me and kept cleaning, all while shaking her head. I'd give 3.5 stars. Pretty good if you feel like avoiding people and just grabbing a few things quickly. The smart carts work well but they are not intended for large shopping trips. Avoid the cheese pizza at all costs, unless you're feeling nostalgic for elementary school cafeteria pizza. I had kids over and they couldn't eat it. The other ready made food was super bland, almost disgusting. I threw away the scalloped potatoes and the fried chicken was really dry. Overall, it's OK, nothing to rave about. read more

Do not use the store. They were supposed to deliver food to me on Christmas Eve which included what I would be eating on Christmas Day and they didn't deliver it to me and when I contacted their corporate office that evening they really could've cared less some guy in Manila named Albert said there was nothing they could do and it was obvious he didn't care. Glad to have a new market in the neighborhood. My first couple visits were great, produce was in point, staff was helpful, carts worked great. But there's more..... third visit the shelves were pretty bare, there is alwaysloads of staff but they dont have answers about whether there is more inventory in the back or when if will be replenished . Also we waited in line about 10 minutes to enter the store but looking in the window it was empty, when I asked the employees said someone made a mistake counting the persons inside . I will give a shout out to the manager Mayalia who said they ar e aware of the shortages and working with vendors to smooth out the wrinkles and bare shelves and I have noticed a big difference in the produce section much better. read more
