Started my shopping at 4pm. Interesting process for self-checkout. A bit of a learning curve the first time, but the second time should be a breeze. Unfortunately there is not a manual scanner on the self-check cart so if the cart does not read the item you put in the basket then you have to type in the code (produce etc) The weighing process for produce (putting the item into your cart to have it weighed) was not clear and produce workers were busy filling cubside checkout bags and non-interested in my questions. You type in the code and then put the item in the cart to see the weight & price. A high percentage of items were not stocked, although there were tags for their spot in the aisle. Also this is not like a regular grocery store like Whole Foods where you have a lot of variety. Although I found a few items I haven't seen elsewhere so that was a happy surprise. The store is clean and well-lit but there are more workers then usual filling orders for online or curbside customers. At least three or four workers per aisle! Aisles are a bit narrow and with workers and their carts plus shoppers and their carts it created quite a traffic jam at times! All the hot food items looked tasty and properly maintained. There were dinner entres, a pizza area, soups, salads and prime rib carving station. Prices were about the same as Whole Foods. There was some difficulty using an online coupon from Amazon for an item and I had to go through regular checkout instead of self checkout or it couldn't be used. I can see this being a good option for a quick run but I wouldn't use Amazon Fresh for my weekly shopping.

In the most technologically advanced store in the country, the least technologically advanced restroom . There are not even sensors at all. 4 stars for technology. But the store itself is not very good yet. The assortment is scarce, at the entrance there is a person who helps to figure out how it all works, but even he did not find the QR code in the menu the first time so I could start shopping. The interface is not intuitive. Not all products were identified at the first try. At the exit from the store, there was some kind of technical error, so I also had to call an employee. I would rate it 3 stars, but I will add one because this is something new and generally comfortable.

I stopped in here cause I was at Hallmark a couple doors down. I literally needed just a couple of things. I wasn't sure how this all worked as a friend said you order ahead and then just pick up. I didn't know if I needed a membership or if they even had checkout lanes- which they did. I did see a lot of people walking in and just picking up. This would be great if you knew exactly what you needed. I do like to see my produce items prior but maybe this is a new learning curve?? All the store associates seemed very friendly and willing to assist you. I was very impressed to see as soon and I walked in I was offered a new Coca-Cola coffee energy drink- yep I'll definitely take one of those! I did see a few other special stands with other giveaways but didn't really stop to take advantage of all those. I was given a $10 off $30 coupon for the new shopping experience. I'm soooo over going to Jewel for our weekly grocery needs. I'd love to see how their rotisserie chickens are and try some other deli items. Next time cause I will definitely be back soon! Great job Amazon!!

What should i say about this experience! So so so unique.. i wish we have one in FW soon. The carts have a scanner, you scan amazon fresh bar code from app. And then each item you put in ur cart is read the sensor/scanner installed on all 4 sides of the cart... if you take out the item is removed as well, i need to getbused to it if i go Amazon Fresh regularly. Store looks like Whole foods, lot of ready to eat food as well. Very pleasant experience. Once you are done, head out. Your cart will stil be checked by associate and you will be given the bill. Also, you cannot take carts outside the store as i was told by associate that each cart is almost $50,000. And i saw atleast 20 carts there! Imagine the investment !! Lol... i was v happy and I really an Amazon Fresh store near me..

PSA: Be mindful of how Black customers are treated at Fresh Thyme Market in Naperville…read more.. I had one of the most upsetting and disrespectful experiences at this location on Thursday, July 17th around 7:51 PM. I came in on my work break to pick up just two items: a plant-based Italian beef and an avocado that was clearly placed in the section marked "4 for $5." However, it rang up as $2.99. What followed was nearly 20 minutes of frustration and poor treatment. A young cashier delayed helping me, questioned me about the price in a condescending tone, and then called a manager who treated me even worse. Not only did the manager refuse to honor the price I saw posted, but he also accused me of switching the avocado sticker--a claim that was extremely offensive and baseless. I offered for them to review the security footage, and they refused. I felt racially profiled and disrespected over a simple produce item. As a Black woman, I can't ignore how I was treated in comparison to how I've seen other customers treated here. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth, and I will not be returning to this store. I hope management will address how they treat customers with more respect and dignity going forward.

The produce section alone was worth it with stacks of fresh fruit and veggies everywhere and good competitive prices for everything and even samples available to try. Very helpful when it came to deciding whether the cantaloupe was worth it or not. I would even argue that the produce is better than at the Jewel AND Whole Foods down the road. The store is well-kept and clean throughout. The bakery, meat and cheese departments and the hot food/salad bar area are great. They have several made-to-order options that looked good and worth trying. Some of the standouts were the broasted chicken, pizza and sushi. For such a fresh looking assortment of dishes to be available at 1pm was a big enticement to come back to grab something for lunch next time I'm in the area. As far as grocery options I would be surprised if you couldn't find what you were looking for in such an expansive store. This is especially true when it comes to the huge variety of international cuisine options. All of the workers I had interactions with were friendly too.

There's a halal butcher and just a plain butcher, about which as a vegetarian I can tell you nothing, a bakery, and a Latin American and Indian mini-cafe. The produce section is very crowded (and offers a wild variety with some excellent specials), and the endcaps on the aisles extend into the aisle, meaning in several places there's only room for one cart and you'll have to excuse yourself to get where you're going. Be prepared. I was impressed by their selection of organic spices and they also had some organic Asian noodles (buckwheat and soba). They also have a good selection of Latin American groceries, including huancaina sauce from Peru (yes!), frozen plantains and Guarana soda. I've seen larger selections of Indian and Eastern European products at dedicated specialty groceries, but no one else in the area carries it all. Many, many different types of flatbread and a wide selection of Middle Eastern sweets; various dry pulses; various types of candy; pearled farro and more versions of burek than I've seen before, including a "vegan be'f". The Indian mini-cafe is half vegetarian, half non; the Latin American one has various kinds of filling in carbs, and if you're vegetarian, all they have is cheese - though the fried corn-dough empanada, cheese in an eggroll like wrapper and pastelito (cheese in pastry) offered various textural delights. This is a haul for me, and I usually try to avoid I-59 but this place might be worth a special trip.
