New homeowner here…read more We had a problem with the drainage in one of the corners of the house (Santa Rosa clay, nothing is level) right in front of our entryway! Guests do not want to be drenched upon arrival. Brothers was the only company we found that was willing to quote a repair. That was appealing. Requesting a quote was also super easy online. When the estimator came out he took his time looking at our gutters, spent at least 30mins assessing the issue and explaining to my wife the issue and why they (unfortunately) could not make a repair - not their fault, we know the previous owners did everything on the cheap. We got two other quotes. One contractor dismissed our concerns and just tried to sell us gutter guards (we have no trees near the house) and the other contractor wanted to replace 1/4 of our gutters and quoted us twice what Brothers did for the whole house. We were surprised how dismissive, expensive, and uncommunicative the other companies that gave us quotes were. We were initially scheduled for January with Brothers, but they contacted us within a week to try and squeeze us into their schedule. Everyone we dealt with from Brothers was friendly and communicative - especially Zane who made sure we were taken care of. Our gutters look great! The team arrived on time and finished in a very timely manner. Old gutters hauled away and left the yard looking even better than they found it. We had a great experience and found it well worth the price!

Huge applause for North Bay Roofing…read more Two years ago they replaced our 25 year-old roof. They gave us very accurate estimates and also outlined what issues we might be facing once the old roof came off. They did an excellent job, showed up when they said they were, completed the job quickly, installed skylights as well and were very tidy once they left. We were very happy with the results. Two years later and we got this crazy storm and for some reason we were getting water in inside the house. It was the first time since the new roof went on that we were having any issue. We called North Bay Roofing up at 9:30 in the morning. By 1130 that morning a technician was out here looking at the situation, was able to make a determination of where the water might be coming in and did an extremely thorough and professional patch job. We have not had any leaks with the subsequent storms we've had. So appreciate North Bay being so conscientious and prompt in addressing our issue. We were happy with them two years ago. Now it turns out the gutters they installed were 7 1/2 inches. The standard gutter is between four and 6 inches. The gutters were installed without a facia board. They were screwed directly into the roof beams. Because the gutters were not installed with the facia board, Water got in between this very large heavy gutter and the roof beams and rotted it. It also appears as there are not enough downspouts. Now I'm having to pay for a whole new gutter system for the entire house. They sent me a picture of some debris in the lowest part of the gutter after it fell off the building. It didn't appear to me as there was very much debris in the gutter, but this is the excuse they're using as to why the gutter fell off, and why they are not responsible. They installed the gutters with no gutter guard so they knew that some debris would get into the gutter. They sent me one photo showing the lowest part of the gutter after everything shifted into it during the fall. I can't tell you how disappointed I am. I can't imagine a gutter company installing a great big huge heavy gutter onto a building with no facia board to secure it onto the building, and not enough downspouts.. The Property Management company had given the instructions to have the new gutter system look like the old. What she said was taking out of context because she certainly wouldn't have told them to do the work if she had known it needed a facia board more downspouts and there was no reason for the expensive oversized Heavy Gutters. I wonder if they had put on the proper size gutter if the savings could have paid for the facia board and additionally needed downspouts?

The same goes for most successful businesses, do it right and take nothing for granted. In this case it's the gutters on your roof that keep rain from going places where it's not supposed to go. If your roof isn't keeping things dry and without a doubt on your part, save yourself a lot of trouble and have Superior install seamless gutters and guards. In 2013 I decided it was time for a new roof on my house. I also decided it was time to quit risking my life every year cleaning out my old gutters. I had installed some DIY gutter guards on the old roof, the kind that work for maybe a year, then collapse like mine did. The guy I chose to install the roof recommended Superior Seamless for the gutters, which is how I met Cory when he prepared an estimate. He suggested I also have them install real, effective gutter guards that are securely attached no matter how hard the wind blows. The price was not only reasonable, it was well worth every dollar. I haven't climbed up on my roof since then... that's 12 years without a single drip or leak. Then came this year's first rainstorm, when one of the downspouts overflowed. The gutters seemed fine, but I called Cory and Jacob anyway to see what to do. In this case there was nothing wrong with the gutters or the guards, so not a problem that called upon their lifetime warranty, but they agreed to check it out anyway. Now to be clear, Superior isn't in the business of cleaning gutters. But when Jacob dropped by to check all the downspouts, he was kind enough to clear out the minor mounts of debris that had collected around some of the downspout openings over the past decade+. That is really incredible service. OK, so the business may not be as fun as Disneyland but Superior Seamless Gutters has something in common with it, in the way it operates. It's the same kind of business, with attention to details that people will come back to again, as I will if I live long enough to need another new roof and gutters on my house.
