BUYER BEWARE! Mike likes to sweet talk ya and make sure he won't lose the job and win the quote/bid (read other reviews). My wife and I were planning on doing an addition and bathroom remodel. He came out a few times and we even signed his estimated quote. My wife and are expecting our first child and we told him that so we can stay on track with a schedule. We both have been wanting to do this project for sometime now. Over the last couple months I have recommended him to different colleagues and even had our good friends hire him also as their general contractor for a large project. My mistake!! We were supposed to meet Mike one Monday and he no called/ no showed to us. We texted and called and even emailed him. Two weeks later we still haven't heard from the guy. We contacted his now former project manager who said she only lasted two weeks working for him which we found odd and is no longer an employee. We kept getting promised things such as our plans will be done on x date so we can submit to the city. He would come up with excuse after excuse. Well long story short, no progress has been made this last two months. This guy has gone MIA on us and our good friends! Absolutely zero communication with Mike. Stay far away from this "contractor". I wouldn't feel comfortable giving any money toward a project because he doesn't communicate with his clients. I would be up all night thinking he just ran away with our money! We met mike and we were very excited about a project he was quoting out for us. We signed the bid and were moving to the next steps. Basically, an extension to our master bedroom and bathroom. He came to our house a few times, was great to talk to and was very communicative in the beginning. He had made a plan with us to come to our house to meet with us on a Monday to come and look at a potential addition to our project. Texted us on the Friday before to let us know he could come Monday evening. Come Monday evening. No show, no call, and we have STILL not heard from him. We are patient people and know that people get busy and things come up but to not have any communication is not professional. We reached out by text, called. Left messages. after a few days i sent an email. Still to this day have not heard anything and it's been over a week. We are pretty upset because now we are in a position to start over. We were told the plans for our project would be done by the architect by the following Friday so we could approve those and then get them submitted to the city for permits. Come to find out from his project manager that those plans were not done, and he hadn't responded to the architect that had questions to finish it. We were very excited about our project and Mike had some great ideas and we were happy to have started working with him. But, now i am so upset i cant even believe it. We had gotten other bids from other contractors and didnt go with them because we liked Mike the best. We even referred him to our best friends and he was working on a big remodel project for them as well. Now, i am forced to start over and get new bids and our timeline is pushed way far back now when Mike had told us he would be done within a few months, we expressed our initial timeline with him and were open to things taking a bit longer because again, we know things happen. We let him know that we are expecting our first child so getting things moving was important to us so we had enough time to finish so we didn't have a newborn in a construction zone. but, now that is going to be unavoidable. All we wanted was communication and we would have been flexible and accommodating. Our friends also have reached out and not gotten a response either on their project. at this point i would rather just get a text saying i don't want to do the project because its clear its not important to him and 2 jobs are not worth it. Unfortunately, we are the ones getting screwed here and nothing much we can do about it. But, hopefully nobody else goes through this. read more

Well...I liked Mike. He responded to my request for an estimate very quickly. We went around the house and talked about our needs. He made a comment that he wasn't here to turn jobs down, that he wanted to work to build his company. He knew that I'd give him the job. I explained that he was the first person I spoke to and that I had two other estimates to get. Early the next week, I messaged him and said that I'd like to work with him. No response. I gave him 3 days and then, I texted him. No response. A couple days later, I texted him asking if he was really busy or was he ghosting me. Again, no response. I can't say that I can recommend Mike and his company at this point. read more

Mike goes out of his way to make everything happen. Great communication and repeated walk throughs on our projects. Great value and quality. Not a long wait time at all. Crews working late to get things done for us. They worked on the roof, putting in beautiful new gutters, fixing the siding, replacing dry rot around boards around all the windows, dry rot on the deck balusters and steps and painted and sealed everything. He is a bit OCD which is great when he is working on your house. There really isn't much they cannot do. Him and is crew were really kind. I will definitely call them first on projects! The gutters were cleaned and the roof was cleared of the redwood droppings. The moss, that had accumulated around the skylights, was hand scraped off and the skylights cleaned. I happened upon Michael 6 or so months ago and got his flyer. This spring we noticed weeds growing out of our two story gutters and added solar panel cleaning and moss removal to the list. We got a fast quote and scheduled the work. Michael showed up as planned. Moss had accumulated on our cement tiles for 30 years and there was more than we thought. Pretty soon that was all scraped away and treated. Solar panels were gleaming. Gutter clean! Price was great too. We will definitely be using his services again and highly recommend them. I called to request a quote for gutter guards and Mike came out same day. He was courteous and explained everything to me extremely well. His guys installed and were very polite and quiet during installation as we were home at the time. I asked mike to look at the roof and see if it needs repair.
