The food was really good here, we especially loved the shrimp in salted egg yolk batter and the Eel in black bean sauce. The eel is the best we've tasted so far. The white eel meat is so soft and delicate, fatty, and oily - just delicious! The ambiance is nice and modern, the servers are so friendly, they have areas available for private dinners, and parking here is easy. We will definitely come back here again in the future

!!!!!!DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!!!! Worst experience ever ordered a one WHOLE peaking duck around $70. Is not even a half duck that was received. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! I called the restaurant to ask they said is a full duck it must be a very small duck .

Parking: Horrid at the front because it is shared with other businesses. I hate to go to restaurants with shared parking lots. It's literally hell finding a spot at such places. But perhaps there's more at the rear. I'm not certain about this. Service: Meh. They seem more friendly to their usual customers than to new ones, which in my books, is a true NO-NO. You treat ALL with the same level of courtesy and respect. Food: Ain't half bad but I've had better elsewhere. Price: A bit overpriced IMO. $40 dim sum only gave us six items to consume. I think I can acquire cheaper elsewhere. Don't think I'll be a repeat customer.

Amazingly mediocre. (I had to add to all the "amazing" lines) We came here for dinner and had 2 full tables. Their food is decent actually. Their service is okay. They were very attentive and quick like most Chinese restaurants. Unfortunately, they forgot some orders for both tables. We basically ordered the same dishes but some were missing from both tables. Worst of all their dish washing staff (probably just a dish washing machine) is lacking. We were given a few dirty forks, and I mean caked on gunk - dirty. You can find other restaurants that serve the same food with much better service and cleanliness.

Had dinner here, in laws wanted eel, and picked a 5lbs eel off their Tse's food tank. The one eel was made into two different dishes. One was steamed with black bean sauce and the other was made in a more sweeter sauce with honey. We ordered also scallop dish with broccoli, Ribs, and 4 quail for $18 each,. The quail was really good here, quite juicy. We also ordered chicken. Overall it was good, fresh seafood and good service. the plates they provided for dessert was dirty.i am not sure if plates were washed manually or not. We got black sesame dessert which was my favourite. The restaurant looked quite spacious , but I still feel like we don't have much space once you sit, as we were pretty close to the next tables.

Despite sharing the restaurants with a very loud Chinese gala dinner. Despite being barred from the bathroom because some lady decided to change in the sink area and not a stall. Despite awkwardly walking through people singing and dancing to get to our little area of the eatery. I am fully impressed by my first, and definitely not last, visit to Amazing Seafood House. Any one of those things could have made it a very annoying dinner experience but wow. Just wow. No small feat by the kitchen and wait staff who were phenomenal and the definition of professional. The 2 ladies managing our small section of walk-in customers were chatty and friendly, while keeping food and dishes moving at a non-stop pace. They served our food faster than at a restaurant that ISN'T hosting an event taking up the other 90% of the space. The food itself ranged from pretty good to crazy good. The steamed grouper was the highlight. I've eaten countless versions of it at countless Chinese restaurants, but none came close to this. It made my parents reminisce on the fish they used to eat in HK. The meat was firm and the fish had a freshness that is hard to find in fish sold inland. Another highlight was the pork bun. Traditionally more of a dim sum dish, but our waitress recommended we had to get it. Sure we had to wait a bit longer for it, but damn, I'm glad we waited. The bun was soft and sweet and the filling was chunky bits of savoury pork and seafood. Dessert was sweet almond paste with almonds that were grinded by the chefs themselves. While the food is on the pricier end, the total for 6 people came out to under $250, which is extremely reasonable. You might also get treated by surprisingly good deals, like the outstanding chicken soup we got for $18 when it regularly costs $68. Dim sum specials run every morning if you go before a certain time. Chinese banquet halls often name themselves with either a literal English pronunciation of their Chinese name OR they use some generic positive descriptor like "Glorious, Diamond, Premiere". Well Amazing Seafood House has earned the right to call itself that. Amazing food, amazing people. Call me amazed! (5/100) - 2018

Amazing Seafood House is not "amazing' but quite A-OK. We were here for dinner celebrating a birthday and was able to pre ordered some Chinese Birthday buns. Those are house made with a salted egg filling! So good and they were complimentary too! Braised Grouper Tail ($38.80) which I would highly recommend. It is great value with perfectly cooked fish and side of tofu, bean curd sheets and puff Seafood in Rum Sauce ($24) was a miss. The sauce was watery and the seafood overcooked and not fresh. The other dish we ordered all A-OK/ Dessert was nicely presented. Service was attentive but we were there on a weeknight when the place is quiet. Not a bad option if you are with a group of people and want to try out some Cantonese dish.

Newly renovated | lacking service | food quality lacking | dim sum Review based on weekday dim sum only. Dim sum Monday to Friday 11am - 3:30pm Weekend 10am-3:30pm. No special price (S, M, L, XL, SP, J, SJ) range from $4 per plate to $13. Some dishes were ok some were horrible. Had the fishball soup noodle for $17.80 and there was barely and soup and the fishball seemed like it turned bad. I came with 7 people and we all spit it back out. There were only 2 servers so we barely got service. I rated the previous restaurant at this location a 1 star. I was hoping this place would deserve a bit more. Unfortunately it only has the looks. I hope to try the dinner and see if they are more deserving.

Ok Amazing Seafood house really is pretty amazing, the food is very good, the lobsters are good (but most seafood specialty restaurants do a good job on this) Every dish there is delicious. I have only been here twice since they opened but I would definitely come back for lunch and dinner. They need to make an English menu, and they need to stop scamming us the weight of the seafood. How can 5lbs of crab possibly be 2 small vancouver crabs. And when you add a 4lb lobster... they tell they only have this 5.5lb one to charge you more. But in the end it still looks very small. Besides the tactics they use that are not very honourable, the food actually is amazing.

Amazing Seafood House is unfortunately not that amazing. My family and I visited Amazing Seafood House for their morning $3.5 dim sum special. We ordered the following dishes: shrimp rice roll, pumpkin mushroom congee, pork dumplings, chiu chu dumplings, beef balls, chive buns and glutinous rice wrap. Although I only had the vegetarian dishes, we all agreed there is nothing to write home about. A few items were over cooked. It's a little mediocre. I would not recommend Amazing Seafood House unless you are desperate and don't have any other option.

This review is based on 1 dinner experience. I have no idea why others' experience at Amazing Seafood is so different from mine. My dining experience was good: food tasted quite delicious, ingredients were notably fresh and of high quality, and services was attentive and polite. The steamed fish was definitely cooked from a live fish. The shredded chicken was flavorful and generous in portion. The abalone was done right: soft, good mouth feel, good sauce. The services level was one of the high points of the evening. Plates were changed multiple times. Tea were refilled without we asking. The waitress checked on us a few times throughout the dinner. Requests were fulfilled quickly (may I have chili sauce please). I ate at a handful of expensive Chinese restaurants before. Amazing Seafood provided the best services by far. Yeah it is pricey. But if I am going to spend $$$$ per person, I prefer to receive good food AND good services in return.

Relatively new restaurant in Markham. The light over our table was flickering during the entire meal (probably due to recent renovation). Highly recommend the fried tofu dish ($4.99). It's nice and crispy on the outside and melt-in-your-mouth soft on the inside! I would go back just for this dish. Our dinner also consisted of chicken (which didn't have much of a taste), lamb, Alaska crab, lobster, dessert and some other dishes as well. It came to around $750.00 and I'd say it's quite pricey in comparison with Fisherman Lobster Club. Probably would not go back for dinner. *Edit: so disappointed because they raised the price of the tofu dish to $7 two months later!

There's no need to wait for a table, felt like there are a lot less customers these days. Back before covid, I couldn't even find a parking spot nearby this dim sum place. Food variety shrunk, but still decent, food quality maintained, service was better since there weren't that many people, the table given to us was huge, we felt like social distancing just within our table. I wish the situation will get better soon, I used to like coming to this place for dim sum, really hope that they can survive during this hard times.

The carpaccio was fine, pleasant but fairly straightforward, but everything else we ordered was excellent The octopus was tender, and hearty, paired nicely with potatoes, hummus, some greens, and capers. It was well-balanced and satisfying without feeling heavy. The steak came out a perfect medium-rare and juicy. The nut topping on the fish added a really nice crunch, contrasting beautifully with the soft, tender flesh of the fish. And then there was the duck: the clear standout of the night. It was beautifully cooked and seasoned. The fat kept it incredibly juicy without feeling greasy. The charred cabbage on the side added a subtle smokiness that tied everything together perfectly. Every bite honestly made me happier and happier. Getting to the restaurant was a little confusing at first, but once you're there, it's absolutely worth it. I couldn't really taste much of a peppercorn flavor in the sauce though. I prefer my steak on the saltier side so I asked for some salt and they gave me a small bowl of flakey sea salt (my favourite!). Lobster roll ($48): 9/10 I've never had avocado in a lobster roll before, and the flavours & textures actually worked really well together! The lobster tasted fresh and sweet. We had been at the top of the waitlist, and unfortunately we were heavily discounted that another group that arrived later than us had gotten seated before us and another couple who had already been waiting a while (maybe because they had a larger party?). At the end of the meal, we had to ask for the bill and takeout containers twice because they forgot the first time, and therefore spent 10-15 minutes waiting/trying to get a waiter's attention.
