Had my lashes done here about a week ago before my vacation and they turned out ok. I would've loved for them to be more full but apparently I didn't have enough healthy lashes. Fine. This one star is because I have received 10 calls and text messages since I had my lashes done only a week ago. I was on vacation and received a call and after saying no about 3 times i was still being pressured on the phone to schedule an appointment! That is absurd! They will also charge you 50% for any cancelled appointment and 100% for any no show appointment. They're also very pushy on selling their items at the counter while you're about to leave. I can't stand the overly pushy business and constant soliciting, if I wanted to make an appointment I would have made one. They're probably banking on me making an appointment and missing it so they still have my money. That's wrong. UPDATE: Owner responded about making appointments and that was not the main point of my review. The main point was that they will not stop bothering you until you make an appointment with them which is extremely annoying. They are money hungry and you can tell by the way they bombard you with calls and texts. Also, their lashes aren't that beautiful. I've had huge fallout in only one week. read more

Absolutely love my lashes from Jeanie! They look natural but dark enough that I don't have to wear mascara. She was super helpful picking out what style would work best for me. She talked with me through out the two hours checking on me and making the time pass quickly. The entire studio is in white, red, or a light grey which gives the place a very classic, clean look. So, I got 6D hybrid lashes last Saturday... it has almost been a week and I am still really enjoying them. I think it was a great choice to upgrade, they cost a little more, but if you go on the twice the amazing plan and able to go twice a month you can do 6D every other appointment. it doesn't cost as much but they stay lots fuller! **PLEASE READ BEFORE TRYING OUT THIS PLACE** If I could give this establishment a zero rating I would. I am not the type of person to write reviews but I am beyond disgusted with the lack of knowledge on how to do eyelash extensions and how horrible my lashes turned out. To start it off, when I spoke with the receptionist before coming in, I was given a price quote for $84-$134 (which is a big price gap). When I went in for my appointment, my lash lady informed me it was now going to be $159.99. After reviewing my phone conversation (which they recorded without my knowledge or consent), they brought it down to 139.99. Apparently there is an extra $20 charge for a "master" lash expert (who doesn't even know how to make sure every lash had an extension). I did not even ask for a "master" lash expert. Then, after an hour and thirty minutes, my eyelashes were done and they were beyond HORRIBLE! I told the front desk and they had me go with another lash lady. This lady informed me that the "master" lash expert missed a bunch of lashes. After that was done, I was still incredibly upset because these are not the lashes I was told I would be receiving. The front desk girl then had the audacity to ask me when I would like to book my appointment next. ARE YOU JOKING?? I wasted $120 on worthless eyelash extensions that are ALREADY falling out. I would advice y'all to save your money and go somewhere where they actually do a good job, and not a shitty job where they try to scam you for more and more money. However... glue in the hair is not a wonderful experience . When I arrived to the studio I didn't wait long before I was assisted to the lash room. Stylist was on time and super kind very knowledgeable. Shortly after the stylist asked me to get comfy on the bed she left the room to get the lashes. As I was getting comfortable, I placed the rolled up blanket, they set out, underneath my neck for support. Seconds after doing that I tried to readjust the blanket to find the my hair was "glued ... yes glued" to the blanket. I had to pull the blanket off thus leaving a huge chunk of my hair attached. Once the stylist returned to the room I let her know and she quickly ran to get the adhesive remover. She honestly felt bad and said this was the first time this had ever happened. After 5-7 minutes or so of her applying the adhesive remover to my hair (which smelt like bubblegum) most of the glue came out. I still however have random areas of hair on my head with glue still in it. I'm not one to cause a fuss and I too feel embarrassed to complain. But this cannot ever happen to anyone ever again. Some women out there are crazy about there hair, which I get. I just hope that the manager reading this ensures that it won't happened to anyone ever again. I now have to go home and cut out pieces of my hair to just get a comb through it. read more

ALS was where I got my very first set of eyelash extensions and it has its pros and cons. PROS: -front desk Kennedy was super kind and helpful (love her!) -I was blessed to have an amazing tech, Aly. She was probably the most gentle and talented person I have ever met because I didn't feel a thing while she did her magic! (love her too!) -the end result was beautiful -the place was very chic yet cozy CONS: -the 3D lashes I got are voluminous but aren't dark. Just looks natural. -the extensions didn't last very long. The extensions on my right lashes are pretty much non-existent, yet my left lashes look fine-ish. (I've only had them for 1 week and 3 days) I did end up signing up for the membership, but my experience makes me second guess it. I followed every rule that was given to me to help them last, but the end result was the opposite of what I had anticipated. Hopefully when I come back for my refill/check-up, Aly can sprinkle just tad bit more of her magic for my extensions to last long so I can have a change of heart because I REALLY like this location. So I was hanging out with my sister in Cally for a couple days and I had been contemplating an eye lash extension....she was game for something new since our eyelashes are rather short. I saw on Yelp a place close to where my sister lives. Also they had $10 off if you do a Yelp check in.....it's like 6:45pm when I call the salon, and note they close at 9pm.... the staff was great and said come on in we can fit you both in. My sister and I hurry to our new adventure that took just a little over an hour to apply the extensions. My eye lash lady was Lauren who was absolutely professional and sociable during the process. She had this great calming music that put you at ease along with her serene presents. My sister said, her lash lady was really nice and sweet. Since I am not local my sister says she will be back every month for her extension fill and sign up for their program that has lots of benefits and savings. This business is nation wide but there was none in San Antonio area. Just sayin. read more

I am absolutely THRILLED with the way my lashes turned out. My eyes look bigger and I feel so pretty!! Lauren did an excellent job. It took about 80 minutes, which is pretty fast. Lauren is a perfectionist and made sure that my lashes on both sides looked even. I have, sorry, HAD, a problem with the lashes on my right side. I sleep on my right side and over the years my lashes on the right have become permanently curled. My left side isn't like that. Lauren made sure that when she was finished each side look identical. I really regret getting a 6 month contract with amazing lash studio. The first time I was happy and a couple of days later my eyes started getting irritated and itchy. I couldn't scratch or rub my eyes because i would ruin the lashes but I knew it was the glue or lashes bothering my eyes. I complaint about this issues and although the girls were very nice this place is far too expensive and results are not great. Anyway I complaint and they said they would change the glue to a sensitive glue which in turn only made the eyelashes last one week!!!!! By the end of the week I literally had two eyelashes left on each eye which looked terrible. Then I went back still trying to give them a chance and the person that did my "fill" did a terrible job I literally looked like I had 10 eyelashes on each eye and they kept complementing me and bs me on how great my eyelashes looked which I knew they didn't but, I was over them.. at work my coworkers told me what a horrible eyelash job it was and I was disappointed. at this point I wanted to cancel and when I called they said I had to fill out this form and because it was early on I needed to pay like $300- WTF! For the shitty job they did! ;( and that supposedly someone from billing will reach out to me in the next couple of days.. and guess what?! NO ONE CALLED ME! When I called they said ""oohhh we can squeeze you in and try a different stylist" I literally had like 4 different stylist do my eyelashes.. I'm just wondering what kind of training do these "stylists" receive? For a subpar job.. i have been to other eyelash places and they are much cheaper, and my lashes last for almost a month with no damage to my own lashes. I really dislike this place and I'm never going back nor recommending this place anymore . Even the people that I did recommend this place to in the past are super disappointed.. Anyone thinking about going here don't! You pay like 40$ the first time if you get a 6 month contract, and after that 69.99$ but if you want 4D or whatever the hell these "better" lashes are called it's an extra 30$ each time Ridiculous!!!
