I drove 40 minutes to the Howard Beach location because I had a great experience with Amazing Lash when I was in Florida. I made an appointment online and received a confirmation email. When I arrived the receptionist told me to take a seat & my lash tech would be right with me. That quickly turned into saying my lash tech left for the day. The receptionist told me they prefer people call to make appointments instead of booking online. She did not respond when I asked why online is an option if it's inaccurate. She told me to wait an hour for someone else or to come back tomorrow and then began gossiping to her coworker about how nice her professor is! There was zero concern or trying to accommodate me. Horrible service and no concern for the paying customer. UPDATE: They charged me $115 for being a "no show" to a 4pm appointment. I never confirmed that I wanted a 4pm appointment. I had a 3PM appointment that I showed up for. When I called I was told there is no manager in the store and no one can help me today. I was also told numerous times my appointment was for 4pm despite having email proof that it was for 3Pm. I just had the worse experience!! My lash tech was a total sweetheart but the whole experience was painful & my lashes look terrible. She kept glueing my eyes together, pulling at my eyes, pulling my hair...not fun! Her long acrylic nails without gloves felt very unsanitary. She touched the trash can & then touched my face after!!! When she finished I looked and the mirror and was devastated, my two eyes look totally different & very uneven, lashes going all directions, lashes drooping into my eye and not the shape I asked for. 2 other employees came and looked and all agreed they were messed up. The only solutions they had for me was to removed them all or come back next week for a touch up. (That does not help me with my event tonight!!!!) They did NOT offer me a discount. There was no manager in store so they had to call her. Angela the manager was extremely rude, was not sympathetic, she said my only option was to pay or have them removed!!! I got a membership at their Texas location thinking it's a national chain and I could get my lash refills at any location. I made an appt here and notified them that I live in NYC but started a membership in Texas. They booked me but then canceled my appt via txt msg a few days later. They didn't even have the decency to call me. My membership contract terms say I can be serviced at any of their nationwide locations but Howard Beach apparently runs their business very different. I asked for a manager to call me. This never happened. The front desk was very apologetic and indicated that they were simply taking orders from the manager. Well let me start with the positive: 1. Clean location 2. Free parking (bonus in NYC) 3. Pleasant Technicians ( all 3 of them that serviced me in one week) 4. High-quality lashes (texture) I can tell while they kept falling out Now for the unpleasantries. Just follow my timeline below: 10/19/21 -Got my very first 2-hour lash service with Amazing Lash studio because my original location ( SHOUT OUT TO BROOKLYN BEAUTY LOUNGE) had no availability and I was anxious to get my lashes done. Which I figured would work for me since I work as a travel exec and would be able to get fill-ins nationwide. I did get there 15 mins late because I was looking for a parking space because I was never informed about the free parking lot in the back during my many appointment confirmations via text/calls. I was told to still come because there was a 15 min grace period and to drive safely to my appointment. Once I got to the location everyone was pleasant and apologized for not informing me about the parking lot. 10/20/21- Called to explain that the majority of my lashes were no longer on my eyes. A very abrupt Alexa (mgr.) booked me for a 1-hour availability for Friday 10/22 at 10 AM. I questioned why 1 hour since it took 2 hours initially. I took the appointment because my son's 13th birthday was approaching on 10/22 and I wanted to look Milfy of course. 10/22/2- Arrived early for my appointment only for the parking lot to be closed off with yellow tape. I had to circle around for parking. I was lucky to finally see someone moving out of a space right after a few mins right in front of the location. I walked into the ALS and was told by Alexa to have a seat- after sitting for a few mins and decided to check my car parking meter to make sure that I wouldn't get a ticket. When I came back inside-I was reminded to have a seat and WAIT for my tech. After a few mins, a pleasant tech greeted me and we talked about why I was back and she began working letting me know that she will try to get as many lashes back on within 45 mins because she had another client after me. I understood- so once done, I went back to the reception area to make yet another appt, only to be reminded by a very spicy ALEXA about my lateness on the day that I shouldn't even be back. I asked her not to do that and she reminded me that I was late for my 1st appt as well. Like why is she being combative with a paying and big-tipping customer? Now I am irritated. I don't have time to waste!!! Who Does? and now more of my precious time is being wasted with the scolding by alexa the manager. She did try to cut me off when I reminded her that I was here for a FULL SET repair that I paid $180 for originally. She was petty when trying to set my next hour appt for yet another day, because days/time/money/breath could just be wasted on lashes. 10/23/2021 I am back at 1 PM - I live there now. Now there is someone in front advising me to wash my lashes, which I refused because - why when you are advised not to wet them for 24 hours and the first set fell out in less than 24 hours. She's arguing with me, I just told her no and continued to ignore her. I get yet another sweet tech and I gave her an earful about my 3-day ordeal. She apologized and tried to stick up for alexa's crassness, but there is no excuse. I didn't pull my lashes out the fell out I don't have time to waste. 10/27/2021 My lashes are falling out daily. I am having a serious conversation with someone and they stopped me mid-sentence to tell me they cannot wait for me to finally get my lashes done. I have already made an appointment back at the Brooklyn Beauty Lounge for Sunday 10/31/2021. I will have to pay another $180 including my $20 for a full set- which lasts almost 5 weeks if you care for them. DON'T GO unless you want 24-hour lashes which you can get a strip at CVS. WHICH I WILL HAVE TO DO WHEN GETTING DRESSED FOR EVENTS THIS WEEKEND. $400 worth of inconvenience and rudeness. My 2 star review is only because the front desk person charged me full price. I asked isn't there a first visit discount and I was told no with no further information being provided. However, when I got home I was able to find the email that states the offer. I have email twice regarding this experience and have received no response. I made an appointment for a full set of lashes two days before leaving for an extended family vacation overseas. I followed the directions and even bought the lash shampoo. Unfortunately, the lashes only lasted little more than a week, and were completely gone by the time I returned home, two and a half weeks later. I contacted the studio and even offered to show dated pictures, but was told I should have come back and had them adjusted. This was not an option because I was away. Having tried them and becoming a member the things I've heard are 100% false! I have super sensitive eyes and have had an allergic reaction almost with every place I've tried. I was so happy to finally find a clean professional place that I trust. They make you fill out a contract and paperwork before you get any services done they even offer an allergy test before you get the lashes done if you'd like which I loved! I was so happy to not have any reaction after getting my lashes done. I've been getting my lashes done here for the last 3 months and LOVE them. The girls are so warm and welcoming from the moment you walk in. The lash stylists are super sweet & professional they make sure your 100% comfortable and okay during your entire appointment. I really am satisfied with all the services I've received. I use lash stylist Kristina and I LOVE HER! She's the sweetest person I've ever met and so genuinely nice. Well, first and foremost a nice and clean place definitely 5 stars..however i was there for the third time today 11/16/21 my technician was grace an absolute sweetheart no complaints with her. My complaint is what It cost me to do a refill for lashes, I paid 150.00 plus 20 tip for a refill of course breakdown is refill 110.00 and volume an additional $35 plus tax when I asked Alexa why so much she said the price went up and I am not a member, well I was never informed of any membership when I first went, not to mentioned you must pay to become a member understandable. Don't fall for the scam! Read the reviews first! This company offers a full set for $89 dollars so I decided to try it out. The receptionist told me if I sign up for the membership it would be $99 a month including 2 refills and I can cancel the membership at any time. 2 days after my first full set, half of the lashes fell out so the manager was nice enough to let another stylist fix it. As the months went on I grew more and more frustrated with this place. The lashes were falling out and I would have to go weekly for refills. They charged me extra fees every time, I noticed there were many many charges per month on my bank statement from them. I called the store to cancel my account and they told me I couldn't. You have to wait a month after the request before they can cancel it (To get another $125 out of you of course). My card was charged 2 days ago for $125 then they charged me another $70 for a mini fill. One "stylist" dropped the acrylic glue on my bottom eye lid and glued it to the top and had to rip it apart. I have been blamed for the lashes not lasting the two weeks and says I'm the only person to ever have this issue. Then I read the yelp reviews and saw countless other women had the same experience! All the women I work with have lash extensions and say theirs last 2-3 weeks. Maybe they use cheap glue at this place I don't know. I wanted to get my lashes done for the days where I'm barefaced but still wanted to look cute. I scheduled my appointment, arrived on time, and was greeted by polite staff. When I met with the technician, I informed her that I liked lashes that looked false, meaning dramatic, and showed her pictures of makeup looks I did on myself so she could get an idea of how thick I wanted the lashes. She assured me that she knew exactly what I needed, so I agreed to get whatever lashes were the most dramatic ones that she showed me (forgot the name.) I even paid extra to double up the lashes. The service lasted around 2 hours, but was mortified when I looked in the mirror. I legit looked like I had nothing on. I kid you not when I say they looked sparser than my natural lashes. How in the world am I paying all of this money on lashes, yet look better when I just apply a coat of mascara to my natural lashes. I had my lashes done twice, took my daughters twice to get theirs as well. I was recently there on 6/2/22 to get my daughter lashes for prom. After we confirmed what she had last time, met the new technician and discussed getting the same volume as last time just change the wispy look to a set called gorgeous/ sexy combination. I return after a little over 2hrs to pick my daughter up and pay. I was told $265.00. I never paid that price before. I was told two conflicting things 1 the prices changed. No one said that when we were confirming the same volume she had last time went up in price. 2 maybe you came a long time ago. I felt so played as if they knew I was going to get hit with a larger bill than usual but the service is complete so I'm stuck paying. I always tip but that day. I didn't!!! For that price hike I wanted to say kiss my ass. I am no longer returning, my daughter's are not either. It's unprofessional to make up the reason the price is up on the spot. I was then told I paid the promotion price each time so now this was the real price. Lies. Promotion or price increase? Just lies. For $265 my daughter should not lose a single lash but she did. There's nothing special about these lashes and did not need to cost $265. There were not extremely long or dramatic at all. If you have money to waste be my guess. If money you work hard for is worth temporary lashes that will need a fill by all means. She didn't even give my daughter anything to brush the lashes Nothing we left empty handed. Less than 3 hours after I got my lashes done, they fell out. I called and complained, and was told to come back in. I came in, and the technician on duty said, she can see where my lashes fell out, but she's about to go on her lunch break so she can't help me. The 2nd technician said she can also see where the lashes were missing but she was to busy to fix it. After 20 minutes of back and forth, a 3rd girl came in and said I have baby lashes. REALLY?! She gave me a free mascara and said when I come back for a fill in, she'll give me a free upgrade. NO WAY! You guys will never get another $ from me! I absolutely love my technician and the ladies are usually very nice. My technician has style and knows exactly what I want. However, my lashes NEVER last more than a week! I thought it was just me and I needed to take better care of my lashes, but that is NOT the case. I have been with them for over 2 months, paid membership, avoided washing my face, not working out, purchased and use their lash wash and I don't wear eye makeup at all !.... THEY STILL DO NOT LAST. The worst ! My eyelashes fell out in less than 24 hours. They said that it was because the studio was "too hot" and they would redo them for me for free with their "best technician". I went back and once again within 24 hours all of the lashes fell off and my real eyelashes were totally ruined. Based on other reviews I see I'm not the only one. Go somewhere else, I've been to a few other places and have never had this problem. This place is super clean and staff is really friendly and accommodating. The reason I'm giving this place 3 stars is because I payed over $100 including tip for lashes (I'm not complaining I know they go for that much) and I don't think the quality of lash is up to par. I got the classic set and they feel very "fake" and plastic they felt crusty and rough on my eyes I never felt comfortable wearing them. I know a lot of people who have gotten their lashes done and they look soft and feathery but mine were just to rough for my liking. I think they need to up the quality of the lashes they use for $100 those lashes just aren't cutting it. I needed my lashes done so this was an emergent attempt to getting my lashes done. I regularly get my lashes done by my lash girl @deishadolls in NJ. I read some of the reviews on google forgetting to come on to yelp so I decided I would give them a try. When I got there nothing really was explained to me it was more of a sign here and I really thought I was just giving consent to get my lashes done. I took the promotion and when I got them done I was not at all happy. They looked like a skinny strip. I spent $130 for a full set and it was not worth it at all. Then they said If you come back for refills it's much cheaper and you can come in as many times as you'd like. I figured maybe I can just try again and my lash girl was pregnant therefore I figured it would pay off. So the next day I called to Cancel because I changed my mind. They said okay, took my name and said they would Email me the cancellation form. That NEVER happened and so I continued to call everyday attempting to get this form. This form was a myth and so they proceeded to tell me after I was upset over the phone and said I needed to call when the manager was there. I attempted that and she was never there. Then they began to charge me, they charged me $125 plus 77 dollars for three months straight. I got my bank to help me stop the payments each month. Save yourself a headache they are the worst and the lashes aren't even worth it! It's best to slap on some strips and keep it moving! I've been coming here for over a year and a half. If you cancel an appointment within 24 hours they charge you half of the service. Today I had an appointment at 7:30pm and they call me at 6pm to tell me they need to cancel because of the snow storm. It snowed for 15minutes..then the girl asks me if I can come in tomorrow. Tomorrow i have a 5am flight. I get It, things happen but don't cancel on your clients last minute when you very well know if It was, ME THE CLIENT canceling you would've charged me for half of the service. Horrible!!!! This is the first time I write a bad review for a business because I understand businesses are struggling, but due to the fact they have given me no choice, here it goes. Went for a full set two weeks ago and left there and in a matter of an hour they started falling down. I called they told me to come back in four days. I called the next day and said I couldn't wait that long, so I went in that day. They tried to correct the mess that was done, but just made it worse. I called a couple days later to tell them they are falling and look terrible. They kept on telling me a manager will call, no call. I kept calling they kept saying manager will call or they will speak to owner, Never received a call. It's been over a week now and nothing. I tried to work with them, I was polite every time and it got me no where. After speaking to a few people that went there and had same experience, I knew it was time I share my experience. if I could give this place a zero I really would!!! First off before you sign their contract please read what ur signing don't be like myself and just sign because you want lashes. The contract basically says if anything happens u can't sue them and they aren't responsible for nothing! I asked for the allergy test and was told they couldn't do it. I got lashes In the past so I didn't see it as a big deal. I did my lashes wit Angelique I believe that was the name on my receipt since I already had forgot the girls name. she was a nice person but once she started my eyes were burning after a while. When I told her she assured me that it wasn't an allergic reaction and because of that I kept going. When I was done both my eyes was red as tomato's ! And I had gaps here and there that when I told her and she tried fixing it there really wasn't any fix. I wanted to just go home at that point , at the front they try to sell u every package under the sun! When I went home I basically didn't sleep my eyes were in so much pain I took an allergy medicine to help me until the morning atleast. I was there at 9am to get them removed to only have to rush to the eye doctor to find out both my Corneas were all scratched not only due to an allergic reacting but also glue in my eye. How in the hell u let glue fall in my eyes ! If my eyes are closed the whole time! I was so upset!! When I asked for a refund I was told no! And that I could have a free services in stead. Who in the world would want a free service after that! I had to loose 2 days of work because my eyes were in so much pain, and I was seeing blurry ! I basically slept from the amount of pain to even keep my eyes open. I wasted over 120$ in copayments in doctor visits to fix the problem. Oh and by the way the ophthalmologist was the one who took off all that glue they left on my eyes!!! And had to flush my eyes out from all the glue I had inside. This location is horrible. I overheard someone in the hall saying they got a sty and also heard that the staff gets trained at the site and aren't coming in with their certificates and experience! I don't know if this is true but I hope not!!! I would hope that I am not a practice doll for someone since this is suppose to be a high end place with high end prices! But I would never go back. They can keep their free service ! I lost 100$ and they could care less. I emailed corporate twice with my complaint, pictures, and doctors notes in hope they can atleast give me my 100$ refund . When u go back it's 250. Like what. They need to get their prices down I don't care what kind of hair is on that lash but it's too expensive. And they made me get a eyelash cleaner which I've used once for 20 bucks. My friend went here and her lashes looked terrible and she asked for the style gorgeous that's meant to look very pretty. We need a new lash place that's no expensive but also very good. I wanted natural, light and non dramatic look, unfortunately the results were far from my expectations. I have a one year old and he's really scared of my lashes, in fact he cries when ever I hold him. I'm extremely lost for words and uncertain of what to do. The first visit on Friday I was extremely disappointed after two hours of getting my lashes done. The manager on duty was very apologetic and accommodating. The first person who did them just did not do what I asked. One of my eyes already appeared like I needed a fill. So I gave them a chance because the manager was so nice and decided to come back in today. Got a whole new full set of 6D and these ones came out even worse! I have chunks of glue every where. Stabbing my eye lid and every one is so separate from each other. It's no where near dramatic by any means. Not full and fluffy like what I am used to when it comes to volume lashes. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Their customer service was good which is why they get two stars and they tried to help me but at the end of the day the technicians need WAYYY MORE training. I am in the industry and have seen and gotten my lashes done thousands of times and have never had such a bad job done twice in a row. 4 hours later and over $100 lost. So disappointed. I've been getting my lashes done for over a year now and have been to many different places and Amazing Lash Studio is by far my favorite place to go. I signed up for a membership right after my first visit and I'm so happy every time I leave. Kristina C. is my lash tech and she is so great. My lashes last me almost a whole month which is amazing since I'm a makeup artist and I wear tons of eye makeup. I definitely recommend booking with her! You won't be disappointed. read more

Love love love this new business in Howard Beach!!! The studio is beautiful, exceptionally clean and very inviting. Gina and Maria who are both owners are extremely professional and very accommodating to all who enter!! Angelica, Jessica, Hilda and all the girls are wonderful technicians. They are very skilled and their work is gorgeous. Finally, the girls at the desk especially the manager Tina are all very friendly and welcoming making the experience perfect from start to finish.
