Amazing Lash Studio is an absolute SCAM. They do not keep track of emails received with cancellation forms, constantly double charge accounts, charge $140 a month for a membership with 2 fills then also charge an additional $50-$70 with every service done, the management does not keep record of communication nor so they keep record of a freeze on the account or cancellations saying the previous manager never made note of it so that's why they kept charging, will not reverse or refund charges for said unauthorized cancellations/freezes. If you do anything, DO NOT go to Amazing Lash, Sabrina at the Santan location is of absolutely no help and will continuously cut you off and speak over you while trying to resolve an issue. I was very disappointed with my visit. I booked the introductory offer of $89 and was told any additional cost or upgrade would be discussed prior to the application of lashes. The girl was running almost 20 minutes behind, no apology or acknowledgement. Once back, I did not feel the different lash options were explained well and it was very generic responses to my questions, especially when I was looking for guidance and advice on which to pick. She ended up telling me the volume ones were good, so I went with those. On the sign in the room it did not specify a price. Once I was done, I checked out and it was $154, which came as quite a shock considering I was under the impression it would be $89 and any additional cost would be discussed with me. With tip it was $100 more than I planned for. It has only been three days and quite a few have fallen out, which makes it look even more sparse because of the volume lashes used. I tried to call and speak with the manager (who is not available as there is no manager, just a district manager) to see if I could get any kind of refund, especially bc the price differences were not communicated. She kept repeating to me, to the point it was condescending, that the prices are on their website and posted in the room, and only offered to cover an upgrade charge at my next visit. She kept repeating that she was sorry for the miscommunication, but that was the very issue, there was no communication. I can say with confidence that the prices were not listed on the little piece of paper in the room and the woman who did my lashes did not mention price increases. I am very disappointed with the service, very frustrated with the lack of communication about the up-charge, and absolutely will not be returning. Additionally, and what I believe to be very concerning, was my lash technician told me that Amazing Lash Studios was going to let her continue to work under a license that was not current when her provisional aesthetics license expires soon (due to a board delay) with the full knowledge it would not be current. That is unlawful and I would never want to be provided a service if the technician / aesthetician was not fully licensed. Everyone that works there is so beautiful and nice, I was able to skip the nervous-ness after like five minutes due to the calm environment. I wear contacts and have sensitive eyes, so I was super skeptical beforehand- but let me tell you!!!!! I felt nothing but a gentle touch on my face the whole time my amazing and sweet stylist, Samira, was applying the lashes. I almost fell asleep lol. I stopped into LASH STUDIO SAN TAN I was able to get an appt. the same day for later in the evening with JASMEN. It was my first time. Jasmen was GREAT! However, this is the FIRST time I've ever felt so satisfied and happy with my lashes. I feel beautiful! Meghan did an amazing job with picking out the perfect lash style and length so that my lashes look natural and gorgeous. I am definitely going back to have Meghan do my lashes. I am BEYOND DISAPPOINTED with my experience at Amazing Lash San Tan. I got lash extensions for the first time ever last Friday. I was so excited to splurge and do something for myself and it has been nothing but a disaster. The lashes I got were NOT the lashes I described that I wanted. I didn't want anything big or ridiculous, but the lashes were so long that they were touching the bottom of my eyebrows! I was disappointed when I opened my eyes and looked in the mirror, but I was told that I might get used to them or I might like them more after a few had fallen out. The girl who did my lashes told me that if I signed up for their membership, I'd get a discount on my first service, AND she told me that I could cancel any time. She said, "I probably shouldn't be advertising this but you could even technically cancel a few days after you sign up". THAT WAS NOT TRUE. I filled out the membership paperwork and the girl at the front desk told me SEVERAL times that it was NOT a contract. I went home and was so disappointed by my lashes that I had them removed 3 days later. I called Amazing Lash and told them I'd like to cancel my membership since I removed the lashes and will NOT be returning to them. I was then informed that I can only cancel AFTER I have been billed for the first time. I explained to the girl that I had already had the lashes removed and I wouldn't be using their services anymore, so I didn't understand why I would have to be charged for services I would not be using. She was less than helpful. I emailed their main customer service email address asking for help with this. I don't think it's fair to be billed for more services that I'm not going to use. My email was forwarded to the manager of Amazing Lash San Tan, who sent me a generic copy/pasted email about their services. So basically they're taking $120 of my money or however much it is for services I will not use, knowing I am already dissatisfied with my experience with them. I don't make a ton of money guys. I've been wanting lash extensions for months and finally decided to splurge, but this was the biggest mistake. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AMAZING LASH SAN TAN TO ANYONE. What they tell you at the store is NOT the truth about their memberships, and they will take your money no matter how clearly and politely you state your case. This is super shady business and they did not offer to make it right at ALL. I didn't even get a word from the manager. Like I said, it was just a generic email. Customer service has been truly awful. Get your lashes done somewhere else. I've never posted a negative review of a business but this has been terrible. I've had my eyelashes done before and thought I'd try this place out right before I was going on a trip. I thought it was different that they recommended I come every 2 weeks for a full, especially considering the last place I went to thought it was great when you could come in every 4 weeks (because the lashes were staying). Next day after my full set almost all my lashes were gone! It literally looked like I needed a fill. Called and they got me in the next day for a "correction" with a master stylish. The tech and the front desk said the remover gel shouldn't get in the eyes and if it does they have to immediately be flushed out because it'll burn. THEN WHY ARE U USING IT ON THE EYES! Use safer products!! I had to go to urgent care immediately after I left where the doctor diagnosed me with ACUTE CHEMICAL CONJUNCTIVITIS IN BOTH EYES! I had to go buy medication for both eyes and see an Ophthalmologist. I suffered severe burns to both lids and cornea, severe irritation, my left eye is swollen shut, I've lost almost ALL my eyelashes and the rest of them have broken off. When the owner called me she said I must have walked in that way and she was unwilling to claim any responsibility for her business's negligence. You've been warned! The girl at reception was welcoming and knowledgeable before my appointment but was very pushy about the membership even after I had said I my lashes were not as full as I was expecting. She also said she could update my next appointment to be 6d lashes, basically I could pay a ridiculous amount of money for nothing when I was getting amazingly full glam lashes for a $60 fill at my last studio. I had opted for the 3D volume lashes because I have done volume lashes at another studio for years. My last lash stylist was truly an expert so I was not expecting them to be at the level I have previously had but today my lashes are no where near the "gorgeous" look I requested. I mentioned to a friend that I had gotten my lashes done and she asked if I was almost ready for a fill. To be honest my natural lashes with some mascara make more of an impact than these lashes and now I'm in a position where I can't even use mascara on my vacation without ruining my lashes. Also my biggest issue with the day was the length of my appointment and what I heard during it. My full set took 2.5 hours. As your website states it should be 1-2 hours for a full set. During my appointment I heard someone come in twice. The second time whoever it was told my stylist to step on it and keep going. My first issue with this is that someone came into the room unannounced while I am lying there without the ability to see who it is, my second issue is that my stylist was basically told to rush through. I am assuming that the stylist is new, which I also think should be discussed with a client, and someone was checking up on her. I reached out to discuss my experience and it took a few different messages from me and two weeks to even get a response. I will not be returning and do not recommending this studio. read more

Went here to get my very first set of lashes and was completely disappointed by the outcome. I had asked for the "Mega Volume" set that was pricey up charge from the first timer discounted price. I discussed with my lash tech that I usually wear large glue on lashes, but the outcome of my lashes looked extremely natural. I noticed that one of my lashes was not glued right and I felt it halfway on my lash. It was really uncomfortable, so I had to pull it off. I was very sad to see that I had spent a lot of money for my lashes to come out this way. Although the lash tech was extremely friendly and answered all my first timer questions. Also, upon arrival I was not checked in right because I had later received a no-call no-show voicemail. I was sitting right next to them when they called me.... Ladies, please don't be fooled. Everyone's first experience is great. The front desk ladies are so nice, the facility is clean, you feel like you are getting special treatment! Day one you have beautiful lashes, you look good, you feel like you made a good choice. You will be sorry, and here is why. 1) The product is poor, plenty of other reviews to support the negative reactions that are common and the extreme short life span these lashes have. The employees themselves have admitted they need and are developing a better glue and the only way to get the look they promise you is by buying additional products. Make sure you get the cleaner, the primer, the sealer, use their mascara, and...look at their studio's picture. Even they know you really need their additional products. 2) The membership locks you into an obligation you wont want that will end up costing you more money and delivering less service. You will be paying them for the opportunity to be over charged, inconvenienced, and mistreated. Even if you do make it past day three and all your lashes haven't fallen out due to a reaction, you have to start thinking about a fill. The membership only includes one fill billed at $60 each month. They will let you buy as many additional fills as you would like at that price, but keep in mind you are locked into being billed even if you don't use them. If you should happen to need a full set (which you will if you don't visit every 2 and a half weeks) it is going to cost you an extra $40 - or they can kindly bill you one of your credits, so another $60. That's right. I am locked into a membership that punishes me if I don't continuing paying MORE to use it. The MINIMUM price you can pay each month will be $100 and you will only have lashes for about 8 days. Oh, wait, you wanted volume lashes that were the whole reason you wanted extensions in the first place...Yeah, $20 extra per fill. 3) Don't think for a second the friendly faces up front are sincere and that you are valued as a customer. As many others have stated, the house rules for members are piss-poor. If I am late to my appointment I forfeit my credit. If they mess up my booking, I forfeit my credit. Remember I am locked into being billed for these credits and I have to work around their availability as well as my own. This one is my favorite though and really takes the cake. I called one time to make an appointment and I was told the only person available for the next week was the master stylist. It would only be an additional $20 to see her. I am sorry, what? I have had eyelash extensions for the past 4 years every so often taking a month or so break for my natural lashes. I know how to care for them and have never had an issue. I have been getting my lashes done here for almost a year, I have had the worst experiences finding an eyelash tech in Arizona. I found Amazing Lash Studio, saw it had mixed reviews but figured I would give it a shot. First set I got was okay, better than what I had got in Arizona prior... but they didn't stay on long. Each visit was with a different tech, some were good but they eventually left the studio, I recently got my eyelashes filled after a break, super full at first so I couldn't see any issues, combing through them was not as smooth as usual, but I just kind of ignored it at first. As time went on and my natural lashes started to shed I started to feel pulling, I had huge missing gaps and almost no lashes on one eye. I looked close to see what the pulling was and to my horror, since it was finally thinning down enough I realized my lashes had been over glued, so there were multiple natural lashes glued onto one or two extensions and as they grew they started to pull. Some had shed but were stuck to the others that had not shed yet. I called the salon, after two weeks I should not barely have any lashes on one eye and the other eye needed a full removal due to the mass amounts of glue. I had a scheduled appt the next day that I changed to a removal, I got there and they removed my lashes, they had no idea why the lashes on one eye were practically gone and the other was over glued, they stated that it was possibly the humidity.... (um....no) they then charged my account for the removal and told me that I would have to pay for a complete new set, which I can't even have right now anyway due to the damage from the set I just had. I asked why they were charging for the removal when it was not my fault and they implied that I didn't say anything after they were first applied, and acted as if I was nervous to say something to the stylist. I'm honestly shocked at the customer service. It's a pain that you have to fill out, in person, a 30 day notice to get out of the ridiculously priced auto pay fills, the quality does not match the price. I don't think the way I was treated is any way to treat a customer, let alone one who's been a loyal customer for awhile! read more

I've been a member for about a month now and here are my thoughts. 1. Customer service is amazing and I think this is most important. You don't have to be fearful that if you try it out and have a bad experience you'll be out your money... They are so easy to work with to make things right. That alone makes them worth a try. 2. The reviews about the techs being inexperienced are all very true. I think the manager should really have a sit down with them... Because a lot of the issues are easy fix! One eye at a time is an issue, it does definitely cause them to be uneven or different in appearance. The manager may need to block time for them to practice on each other and critique each others work. It would be worth it in the end. With that said, there are some that do a good job, the key is finding someone you like :) 3. Super clean and comfortable, this is very important for safety purposes. 4. Glue... I find it to be stronger than others I've tried. I have issues with lash fall out no matter where I go, but it's been a little better here. And the prices make getting frequent fills (for a chronic lash looser who sleeps flat on her face) to be less painful monetarily. Conclusion: worth the money, safe investment, excellent choice IF you find the right tech. I think in a year when they all have more experience it'll be an easy 5 stars. read more

I went in for the first-time special. Never done before but going on vacation and thought it would be nice not to have to wear mascara in the humid destination. SO sorry. As a first timer, there is a lot of info I wasn't given in advance. Nothing can be applied to face that has oil in it....scratch moisturizers and sun tan lotions (for the whole time you have the lashes on). No steam...did I mention I am going somewhere humid and was wanting to do spa stuff...not any more. Also, about $50 in additional items for lash care, not mentioned until after. These things are like pets, requiring care with "special" cleansers and brushes. As soon as I paid, they asked when should we schedule your next appointment? How about never. It is an unpleasant procedure and I was scolded anytime my lids moved the least amount. SUCH FUN! Lesson learned. Never again. I've had several lash lifts and the only reason I went to lash studio was because where I usually go was booked out for weeks. Never have I needed to use any kind of condition treatment care after my lifts and have always had wonderful results. So highly doubt there was anything I did wrong. The ethical thing to do would of been to refund the money and tip I gave. But no you want to schedule me within a week after my lash lift to go back when it's a well known fact that one should wait 4-6 weeks before trying again.
