I'm actually annoyed with this place I was excited because I was going to get a young, black girl to do my lashes and I love to support What should've been my red flag is that I had to pay an extra $20 because a "master" was doing it. When I asked if the $20 was a tip, she said no and that it was a service fee, although half of it goes to her. Shouldn't they all be masters if they're employed there? DO NOT GO HERE! they are unprofessional, not trained well and the store manager doesn't seem to care either. I joine, paid for a membership & they tell u it's one price but there are add'l fees the don't tell u about u til after! if u want a MASTER, its $20 more. I didn't know that when I booked appt. the next time its $20 more for a certain lash type. they didn't tell me until after they were on! not part of contract. not only were they uneven when I left but the next day my eye blew up! I went to urgent care to get meds . I should have known- the girl at front desk had fake lashes on that weren't great either! The people who work there are so loud. U can hear Them talki no loud laughing loud like what did u do for lunch and where did u go this weekend. U can hear the whole convo while u lay inside a room trusting this person to put lashes on correctly! then I ask for a manger that didn't call me back for two days. I don't normally leave negative reviews, but this experience was l painful and unacceptable. I've gotten lash extensions for years, but this was by far the worst experience I've ever had. During my appointment, the pain started almost immediately, especially around where the under-eye tape was placed. My eyes were burning, stinging, and watering constantly. I told the tech I was uncomfortable multiple times, but I felt like my pain was dismissed or brushed off. By the end, my eyes were red, raw, and swollen, and more than 24 hours later, they're still itchy, tearing, and incredibly irritated. I may need to see a doctor or have them professionally removed. I don't know if the glue was too strong or the tape was misapplied, but something was clearly done wrong. No one should leave a lash appointment in this much pain. Please be cautious if you have sensitive eyes, or honestly, even if you don't. It's one thing to walk out with pretty lashes, but this was not safe or professional. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone until they seriously address their practices and client care. read more

Ok, NJ can't do tinting, The tech never mentions shaping my eyebrows. She was too much in a hurry for her next client. This is the first time to write a review but I thoght I should share my worst experience I had with this locati... during my first visit I agreed to pay for the membership which includes 2 refills and I paid upfront!.. 2 days after my appointment my eyey were irritated and almost all lashes on my eye fall off, I called to complain and the lady offered a free touch up service which I approved the next day the same scenario happened, got red and puffy eyes and no lashes left on my right eye. I cannot recommend this place. I hate writing bad reviews but i feel it's important to warn others. While the staff is very nice and pleasant to be around, the skill and experience required for a procedure like this is simply lacking. I tried lash extensions once many years ago with a good experience at a different salon. At the time i decided that the continued upkeep, cost, and "look" of the lashes was not for me so didn't do them again for nearly a decade. Fast forward to now, i decided i wanted to try them again (as I'm in a better financial position and i feel, a more appropriate age for this type of look at this point in my life) so i chose amazing lash due to the location and good reviews online. When making the appointment i was asked if i wanted a "junior" technician or a "master" technician. I don't mind spending the extra money for a better result so when i chose master technician for $30 extra, i rested easy thinking that i gave myself a bit of insurance by investing a bit extra. Unfortunately this was not the case. The lashes initially looked okay (although far more dramatic than what i requested-i showed my technician a picture of what i wanted, but fine, i can live with that) but quickly proved to be VERY clumpy feeling and CONSTANTLY itchy. I was hyper aware that i had lashes on and i felt like i had aquired an extra limb on my face. Within two days of getting the lashes, i decided to book an appointment at the old salon I had tried many years ago to get them removed and replaced. When i showed up to my old salon, the technician looked horrified and told me that these lashes had been applied in clumps and not individually. She could tell that these lashes had been applied by someone with very little experience or know how. I got the lashes replaced and boy, what a difference! My new ones look gorgeous, natural and i feel nothing! Another thing to note is that Englewood amazing lash only offers synthetic lashes (which may be fine for some?) but for literally almost the same price as Englewood, my new lashes are made of beautiful, soft mink. They look and feel amazing. The big upside to this situation is that i learned that there is a huge difference between technicians/salon skill levels available out there. My old salon that I tried many years ago now has a customer for life. But unfortunately at this time i cannot recommend amazing lash in Englewood. read more

Aside aside from my terrible experience during the process of getting them on which you can read all about on Google business reviews, let me tell you about the finished look. Once I left the studio, lashes were already falling off. There was a huge gap in one of my eyes that I kept complaining about but to no avail was it fixed, although attempted. However the worst was that I realized she glued way too close to my skin because I could feel them when I blinked. I've been getting lashes done for 8 years now and that's always been a telltale sign of a technician's inexperience. I visited this studio because they were open late and I wanted an backup studio since I work in the city and get home late. Well, I went back to my typical technician the next morning to get them removed and fixed since they were irritating me so badly. She told me that every extension was glued to at least 3 or more of my natural lash and the lashes were glued literally on my skin that when she removed them, there were skin cells on them. The front desk was super kind and apologetic and they offered to "fix" the issue another day with another technician but if first impressions means anything, I will definitely not waste any more time (2 hours for this session) and money at this studio. read more

One trip to this place and now I have an eye infection! I've been getting my lashes done at a different lash studio for about 6 months now. Because of a scheduling issue, I had to find another place to do my lashes. After searching and reading reviews I chose this place. I give it 2 stars for presentation and friendliness of the staff. However, that's it; there are so many other issues. The woman at the front desk didn't provide me with any information upon check in, no paperwork to register and confirm health information, etc.(the lash tech gave me the paperwork after realizing it). The lash tech who did my lashes kept lifting my eyelids open to apply the lashes and the glue was burning my eyes. Then when she was done, her fan's batteries died but she had me open my eyes to see the lashes before she dried the glue! Needless to say, my eyes were burning again! Literally, from the second I walked back to my car, the lashes already started falling off! Within 1 week - all of the lashes were gone! Also, because of the issue with the glue, my eye became runny. The next day when I woke up my lashes were hard and stuck together because a combination of my eye constantly tearing and the y dried glue! As a 1st Time Lash wearer I was not sure what to expect but was educated and treated very nicely. The atmosphere was what I would expect for a luxury service as lash extensions. 2-5-21. My experience with Lorelyn was bad :( she told me it would take longer than expected because she was new. Only been working at Amazing Lash for 1 month. She took 2hr20mins for a full set of classic lashes. I was so uncomfortable sitting there that long being that I'm pregnant. My eyes started to sting midway. & by the end my right eye was tearing up from the burning. She offered eye drops that I didn't question because my eyes were on fire. She used them & it helped semi but I burned for 2hrs after at home. They should have been rinsed out after my session. My right eye is in pain, blurry and very red. Left eye is not in pain but red as well. First time and last time going there. The amount of glue used was too much. Hopefully my eye repairs without damage. read more

I had awesome experience today at Amazing Lash in Englewood, NJ. Dri was my technician and she is excellent and very professional. In the past, I could feel the weight of the lashes and they felt sort of heavy, not these. My lashes would also be sore for the first few days, not these. Please note that I usually don't usually do reviews. This was my first time having my lashes done. Staff was very patient explaining different styles of lashes. Felt like I was in a spa..soft relaxing music, wonderdul smell and very Zen like feeling. Facility is very clean. I was a little fearful since this was my first time but was reassured that I had nothing to worry about. I had my lashes done July 12th and they stayed on pretty full up until about August 24th when I started noticing fallout. They still looked ok but started to become scattery. As of this date September 6th removed the remaining lashes because very few left. They did a wonderful job an exceeded my expectations. I haven't gone back because not sure if this is another addiction I want to take on. Wish price was a little less. All and all I would recommend this studio read more

Not only do you lose your real lashes with whatever glue they use but your lashes fall out within 2-3 days, and over this the salon will take minimum 2 hours for the extensions (and Double Charge you!). I've gotten them done from I Love Lash, which takes 1 hour, and I've never had a problem, in fact the only reason i switched my spot is because of location, but sadly this was a big mistake. These people will rob you of your money and beg you to join their monthly subscription which is a total mistake DON'T do it! After my lashes fell out in a matter of 2 days they tried to make me pay for getting them fixed, add on another 2 hours- which totals 4 hours of my time and they want to charge me for THEIR MISTAKE?? I had already paid and sat there for another 2 hours, I literally felt robbed and disrespected since the girl in front, Deja, said I should have called earlier, but I'm sorry my life doesn't revolve around lashes, I have a job and family to take care of, It's all just ridiculous. This review is purely based on my experience getting a lash lift. Not too many people get lash lifts from here in comparison to lash extensions. It's about $10 cheaper than lash extensions, give or take, and only held up for about 48 hours if even that long with the correct care precautions taken. The price was close to $100, while a kit I got off of Amazon was under $30. The DIY kit lasted 4x longer, looked 10x better and was way worth the hassle in comparison to Amazing Lash Studios attempt. I asked the receptionist if my technician was experienced before I made the appointment. She said yes. Later, while getting my lashes done my technician says she's only been doing lashes for 2-3 months. If I had known that I wouldn't have come but I was already being worked on so I decided to give it a try. The lashes initially looked gorgeous. I was in love with them and I walked out extremely happy. Then came the next day. At first, I realized that my eyes were extremely red under my iris. Also, I noticed that they felt very uncomfortable to blink. As the day went on, it became a stabbing like pain every time I blinked or lightly touched the lashes. I called Amazing Lash and they told me to wait until next day because they were booked. What?! I had to complain and explain that it's MY EYES they're dealing with and that I cannot wait another day. and they finally let me come in the same day. They tried to say that I had to pay $40 for the removal service. I said no, I'm not paying for anything because the fact that it hurts isn't my fault. They agreed over the phone to give me a complimentary service. I walk in and the receptionist and a different technician tell me that the pain is definitely not my fault, it wasn't related to the burns on my eyes and it was caused by lashes being too close to my eyelids. At first they said a refund wasn't allowed because the pain was coming from the glue chemical and I had signed a waiver for that. But they realized that this was literally the technicians fault so they said they'll talk to my manager. They noticed that the ends of a lot of the lashes were glued to my eyelids or extremely close to them and were poking into my skin every time I moved them or blinked. THEY ADMITTED THAT THE LASHES WERE APPLIED INCORRECTLY AND THAT THIS WASNT MY FAULT AT ALL. The removal process was EXCRUCIATING. At first, the tech applied the glue de-bonding chemical away from the eyelids to remove my lashes. Guess what? This didn't remove the lashes that were hurting me because those were the ones attached way too close to my eyes. So she tried again with the chemical on my eye and the lashes were removed. However, the chemical BURNED and this was literally the only way to get the lashes off my eyes. After this appointment, my eyes were bloodshot and my real lashes now look dry and thinner than before. The worst part about this whole thing is that they won't give me a refund!! I paid $90 + $27 tip. The manager who wasn't there, over the phone with the receptionist, kept saying that she cannot give me a refund because it's store policy. What? I spent 3 hours in pain to get an incorrectly applied job, get my eyelids stabbed plus chemical burns to my eyes to undo what you did and all you can offer me is a complimentary lash set? Really? At first, I said okay but after seeing the damage done to my eyes and , I called and left a message for the manager to call me back regarding the incident. Nobody ever called me back. I don't want any of your workers touching my eyes after this experience, and I work hard for my money. Seriously a refund is the LEAST you can do. Overall this was a traumatizing experience. I will be doing whatever I can to get my money back. They robbed me of my time and money. Mr Warren, when are you going to look into it and contact me? This is how you run business? read more

I was a littler nervous touching my eyelashes, so I tried a lash lift for the first time. From the minute I walked in the receptionist greeted you with a smile and was very warm and inviting. The amazing young lady Taj was very professional and paid very close attention to every detail in this process and even kept me updated of what she was putting on my lashes. The whole experience was awesome and relaxing. The only thing is the price is a little high for a lash lift and should be a little lower. This is one of my favorite studios to go to. Every receptionist I've met and spoken to on the phone has been polite and cheerful. They're always patient to help me with any discrepancies or appointment changes with no problem. My favorite stylist is Adrianna. I tried someone else before her at the same studio, and I was not happy. Adrianna listens to the look that I want, and makes sure I leave satisfied. First, she makes sure I'm comfortable and warm when I lay down. She goes over my history and asks how my previous service was, and if there's anything I'd like to change. It's comforting that she talks me through every step. The whole process is so simple and comfortable, I end up taking a nap every time. She reminds me about my aftercare and checks if I need any new products. There's a parking deck right behind them if you can't find street parking. read more

I'm really excited about this location. I got my lashes done for the first time in Seattle at the Amazing Lash Studio over there and I got immediately addicted! I live in New York City, but the Englewood location is only a 20 minute drive and it's totally worth it since the prices and quality here are way better and comparable to the prices you get in Manhattan. Anyway, Amazing Lash Studio made it really easy for me to book my appointment for a refill and I was able to get the new client offer of the membership. I showed up at 8:55 for my 9am appointment. The front desk staff seemed a little frazzled I was in earlier than my appointment time, but maybe it's cause one of the girls was new or it was just early in the morning. Regardless they answered all my questions before and after my appointment and they were very friendly. My lash stylist was great as well and very kind and gentle. Really excited about my new lashes and to be coming in every month! I do hope they open a New York City location soon! read more
