My friend and I were both on a budget and on the way from an outing in Atlanta and looking for someplace to eat that was close to an event my friend was to attend later that evening (Infinite Energy Center). Located at the edge of a Kroger shopping plaza, it's quaint, but the flavor is anything but! It's usually hard for me to decide what to eat, but it didn't take me much time to decide on the philly burger. It sounded appetizing and I saw a few pics online. Great selection. I chose the combo, so it came with fries and a drink, for $7.25! How many places in Atlanta, other than McDonalds, can you get a full meal for that price! Not many. On top of that, I had expressed my desire for a burger and wings earlier in the day. I figured I'd only get one or the other. Imagine my greedy delight when I found out I could add 5 wings for $2.50?! Total for all of that was $10.71, including tax. The food was very flavorful. Best wings I've had in a minute. Im writing a review because this place is BOMB. This is THE place I go to get wings. They arent the gross big jumbo ones which scream genetically modified. These wings are always crispy and perfect. I also love the Philly, Bacon cheeseburger, Sweet potato fries, BBQ Burger. All of it - its my go to "cheat meal" stop and its so inexpensive. SOOO much better than american deli and the portions are insanely massive. I recommend calling ahead, usually always takes 10 minutes for the food. When I see people's reviews complaining about their food taking long I just think *they* thought it took long. Ideally a burger or wings should take 10 min or else you know its been sitting there. The walls are adorned with pictures of food in case you needed a reminder of what kind of establishment you just wandered into. Still trying to figure the last one out, but since its asian owned, maybe they felt the need to sneak some culture on the menu. They also have seafood burgers ( tuna,crab,etc) which is what I would just call a tuna or crab sandwich, but I guess they need to milk the burger name as much as possible. Food is good, but not amazing as the title suggests. Prices are fair, but the upgrades is what can leave you bewildered and puzzled. If you want cheese in your burger, its a .50 upgrade..for 1 slice of cheese ( must be amazing cheese ). For sweet potato fries instead of regular fries, its a 1.00 upgrade, yet there is only a .20 cost difference if you order sweet potato fries by them self instead of regular fries. Perhaps whoever owns this place was a former finance guy for a car dealership who liked to over charge for upgrades. Staff is friendly and attentive. The place is clean and not overly busy. I don't even know where to begin! This place has my heart for cheap food & great service. I usually either come on a weekday or Sunday after church with friends, and the staff here never fails to surprise me. They're positive attitude radiates and screams customer appreciation. They make ordering easy and are always willing to help! Now, I love a good burger...and it's even better when under $10 for a meal (that will actually cause me to have leftovers because there's so much!). Even if I'm not feeling a hefty burger, I always go for their veggie burger, which I always find myself craving! It's light and has the perfect seasoning and crisp to it, I forget it's not meat! Refills are free and that's always a bonus. The menu doesn't conclude with just burgers, but seafood, wings, fried rice and Asian fusion options are opened as well. While Amazing Burger doesn't exactly live up to its name, I think it is still a pretty decent burger and better than most other fast food options around. I would say it's in a weird spot where it's not exactly a "fast food" burger, but also certainly not a gourmet burger. It does certainly scratch that burger itch for me, though. It's true that this tucked away joint has had some confusing name changes, but the food is still the same, and it's GOOD. I like that the place is NOT corporate (I'm pretty sure that the owner works in the kitchen, which may explain the better-than-average food quality and preparation), and that it has a bit of ethnic inspiration for people who want comfort food burgers with a twist. They have a lot of burger options, all of which are generously portioned enough that I really have to stretch my mouth to take a good bite, but my favorite is probably their bulgogi. My brother-in-law is half-Korean, so I know bulgogi, and Amazing Burger gives you the real deal. It's tender and sweetly spiced, and if you eat it with their non-greasy fried rice, you almost feel like you're at an ethnic restaurant instead of a burger joint. I also like wings, and they make some pretty good ones: crispy but still drenched in the sauce that so many other places seem to skimp on. They also have salads, but if I'm at a burger joint, I want something I can really sink my teeth into, so I haven't tried their salads yet. The price isn't the cheapest burger on the block, but the quality is waaaaaaay better than those $2.99 deals, if you know what I mean. And it's still totally reasonable! For me, it's worth it. I thought the burger was on the thin side, but it was juicy and cooked medium to medium well. I thought the bun was quality and had nice chew. The fries seem to be of the Sysco variety, but I thought they were good. I don't care what kind of fry it is as long as it cooked properly. Too many places in the area overcook their fries leaving them dry and bland. The actual burger was fairly forgettable, and even now, about 10 hours later, I forget the flavor of the burger, although it was a fairly nice size, and topped with lettuce, tomato, pickles onions, ketchup, mustard (and mayo if you want). Unfortunately those are the limits of the toppings. If you're in the area and have time to kill, go in and check it out. Very nice interior that's pretty cozy with room to sit, clean restrooms and a staging area for your food that includes sugar/cinnamon for your sweet potato fries, and a special season salt for everything else. I only had one bite and had to exchange it for chicken...I couldn't eat the burger. Cashiers were very nice and understanding and they exchanged my burger ($6.25) for chicken ($6.95) at no extra charge. Fries were great! The bread even toned down the sweetness a bit too. I loved it! The burger is fairly large. It's situated right next to quickly in the Kroger shopping center. There are only a few tables. You walk up, order at the register, and sit down and wait for your food to be called. Aside from the bulgogi burger, I also got onion rings which were just plain. They weren't super flavorful, but they weren't the worst I've ever had. My boyfriend got the amazing burger, and it was just a plain burger. The patty wasn't very flavorful. He took one bite of my burger and was instantly jealous that my burger was better than his. Along with his burger, he got the crinkle fries which were just normal crispy fried. I love that the seasoning salt is set out on the condiment table, so I can put on as much as I want. Great asian/wing/burger place. The service was FANTASTIC; seriously the two teens at the front were amazing and the old guy in back made the food FAST. I got the standard burger and crinkly fries. Nothing special, but solid none the less. My son got the fried rice and it was standard fare as well. The wings are the dry kind rather than wing sauce tossed all over them. My dad loved them, but I found them to be too salty: literally lemon pepper salt all over them. The price is right for what you get.
