She also showed me her inspiration pictures, and we agreed on the cut and color before beginning. While she was coloring my hair, I asked about doing a full highlight and whether a partial would achieve the color we discussed. She told me it was too late to switch to a full because the technique was different. I wasn't concerned because I trusted that the partial would achieve the result we had agreed upon. After bleaching and toning my hair, she then told me that my hair would not be as blonde as I wanted because I had received a partial and would need a full session to achieve that result. I was very frustrated because I had specifically asked about a full highlight earlier. If I had been told beforehand that a partial could not achieve the agreed-upon color, I would have chosen a different service. I also noticed a visible line from my previous color that had not been blended. When I spoke with the manager, she told me, "I am the professional and I know what I'm talking about." I agreed and explained that this was exactly why I was upset--I trusted the professional to tell me what service was necessary to achieve the color we discussed. Instead, I was told after the service was completed that I couldn't get the result I wanted. The manager became extremely upset and yelled at me while I was trying to explain my concerns. I had to ask her to calm down. When I said I would be leaving an honest negative review about my experience, she accused me of threatening her. I found that response completely inappropriate and extremely disrespectful. I was not offered a refund, only discounted additional services to try to achieve the look I originally wanted. I never would have agreed to the salon's pricing if I had known beforehand that the service being performed could not achieve the result we discussed. I only booked here because my regular stylist was booked and I was trying to fit in an appointment. Unfortunately, I left unhappy with both my hair and the way my concerns were handled. I will not be returning. Edit: I am also a natural blonde, as the stylist stated during the appointment when she said this would be and "easy" treatment during the appointment. Positive: The lady who took my reservation, I can't remember her name but she had an accent and I think she was originally from Africa, I could be wrong on that but anyway she was very very nice and really helpful on the phone. When I met her in person she was just as sweet. Negative: Hair - I have posted 2 pictures, one is my mothers hair and one is mine. The girl who did my mothers hair did a great job. My mom has really short very curly hair and I was actually surprised she was able to do what she did with it. The girl who did my hair, I requested that I did not want an updo but my hair to be half up, half down. I let her decide what to do with it. As she was doing my hair all the other stylist kept saying how great it looked and how nice my hair was, asking me what products I use. When I said Pantene, she said " I won't tell anyone" What?? Is there something wrong with me not spending 20 bucks a bottle on over priced salon brand shampoo?? Anyway, the stylist all seemed a bit fake to me with all the compliments on the style, in the end it just looked like a Bun to me that cost 60 bucks to have done! Makeup - Only I had my makeup done and for the 50.00 price tag I was very very disappointed. I am not a makeup artist but I do a much better job myself! I did everyone elses makeup in my family and I should of done mine! It only took her about 7 minutes to do it. I told her I didn't want a lot of foundation but wanted her to focus more on my eyes and lips. She put way too much foundation on me and me eyes were nothing special. My lips looked like I had lip gloss on and nothing more. Eyebrows: I get my eyebrows waxed every 3 weeks and have had them done at many different places. The girl who did mine here did it on the massage table which I found to be the wrong position for doing eyebrows. They didn't turn out horrible but they were not great and she didn't even tweeze the hair that the wax didn't remove, I had to ask her to do it after I saw them in the mirror. Overall, the people were friendly if you think fake is friendly. One of the girls did a great job on my mothers hair but the almost 150.00 I spent including tips was not worth it at all. On a funny note, I kept telling them that we( mom and I) were there for my brothers wedding and the girls kept saying congrats to me and telling me what a beautiful bride I was. Shows how self absorbed they are because if they listened to anything I said they would have known I wasn't the Bride! Also, word of advice. Going through the metal detectors at the airport with 100 bobby pins in your hair will set off the alarm! ;) It will also get you strip searched, I learned the hard way the next day on my flight out of JAX. Some of my family was at the airport at the same time as I was and we went through security together, they all got to see it and got a good laugh, some of them were in tears from laughing so hard. For a few months after that I was known as the " Italian Bun Terrorist" Thanks!

It makes a huge difference to wake up with beautiful long lashes and not worry about mascara smudges cause you forgot to take it off the night before or were too lazy to. One less step to do in makeup routine in the mornings with your makeup routine. Just wearing eyeliner goes a long way with long/full lashes. Eyes look bigger and natural without the mascara.
