First and foremost - my waxer DID NOT USE GLOVES. Which is quite frankly baffling and traumatizing. She then asked me to HELP HER? Yes. I had to help my waxer give me my own wax. Then, she put too much wax on me and left me alone in the room several times, still with my hands in the position she placed them to help her now covered in wax. I asked to wash them and they said they had no soap in the room despite there being a sink... Now I have two people trying to get the wax off of me that the first girl messed up. The other worker was initially very kind and told me "You got the wrong girl to do this". I just wanted it to be over so I said I was fine and just wanted to go home. They attempted to clean all the wax off of me but were unsuccessful. I paid for my services (I also got an eyebrow threading in which they cut my skin and my eyebrows bled over my vacation weekend) and I went home. I have scheduled an appointment with my PCP to see if there is any sort of testing, I need to get done because I was handled without gloves. Once I got home I had to soak the rest of the wax off of me and I called to see if they could just refund my wax. They denied that anything went wrong with my service but to come back into the store for a refund. So I drive all the way back under the assumption I will be getting a refund. I come in and both workers gaslit me saying nothing I experienced actually happened, that the blood and blisters I had on me were normal and to ice the area, and put me on the phone with their manager who continued to deny that anything bad happened to me. They then told me it is against their policy to do refunds but he could offer me a few free eyebrow threadings which is less than half the price I paid for my wax. I have never left a bad review for ANY place I have been in my life. But this experience truly traumatized me and I want others to be aware.
