For the past several months, I had been getting highlights with the goal of blending my gray hair and allowing it to grow out naturally. I was so close to achieving that goal. Unfortunately, my last visit was a disaster. My hair turned brown, and most of my beautiful highlights were gone. I returned the next morning, and the owner told me that the toner that had darkened my hair could be washed out. She washed my hair, but it did not work. I returned again because my hair was still brown. For the second time, an attempt was made to remove the brown, but it still did not work. Instead, my hair turned brassy, and my beautiful highlights were gone. Months and months of progress were undone in one visit. I reached out to the owner, Rich, and he apologized. He offered to cover the cost of an appointment with a more seasoned stylist. I agreed to give it another shot, but after that, I never heard from him again. I am extremely disappointed by the lack of follow-through, respect, and customer service I received, as well as the damage done to my hair. She immediately greeted me with a smile and offered a beverage prior to our appointment, was a doll/extremely personable throughout, and was patient as I shared with her on which color I felt would work best for my touch up. Instead, in my experience, there has been a complete lack of accountability for what happened. Mistakes can happen--the way a business responds afterward says a lot.
