I really like the professional way I'm treated the staff are friendly and efficent. If I have…read morequestions there answered in a way that I understand. I would recommend them for your pain related issues

2025 Aug 24th & this is the most irresponsible pain management clinic I have been to in 3 states…read moreover a decade for advanced lumbar degeneration and 2 surgeries at 28 years old after 2020. Champlain spine discharged me from services when my symptom progression entered its furthest progressed state in ten months. After seeking a second opinion prior discharge to pursue new recommendation this clinics staff failed to communicate imaging records to my insurance's numerous stated attempts in 5 weeks of prior authorization, with an extension period granted by my insurance to which they did not provide imaging records they had 2 MRI's of. They had me schedule for August 13th, gave no notice of the denial on the 7th as stated by my insurance was when the extension would end. They let me keep the appointment, no notification and planned to do the RFA procedure from the prior doctor referral. When this was confirmed by Champlain spines prescribing physician and my new surgeon to have no chance of aiding radiculopathy pain, numbness and spasms in the limbs. I had already declined physically just before the auth process started for this steroid injection. To a baseline of getting around on my old back brace, knee brace and walking cane for any sustained walking from June 15th to the start of Aug. They then proceeded to discharge me for claimed inappropriate behavior on the 13th appointment and endangering safety of staff when I did not yell, cuss at or threaten anyone. It is clear with anxiety dominant PTSD this clinic is not willing to train its staff in traumatic anxiety care training available to them to create a safe environment for you the patient. Lacking this training makes them liable to experience a very real & recognized 'vicarious trauma' as it is known in the realm of the provider. This is staff experiencing their own anxiety from prolonged or acute exposure to others anxiety syndromes. They are just as likely to discriminate against my fellow Plattsburgh residents who are also Ptsd survivors or struggle with GAD daily. Not having the proper care training to know what they are seeing, nor how to appropriately act in the presence of a non violent, non threatening ptsd anxiety attack their untrained conduct produced while continually speaking over their patients. Triggering their condition moreover when they are already experiencing acute word salad not able to properly express their speech and string thoughts into coherent sentences to their providers staff. The reality of this discrimination and discharge lies in me being so uncomfortable in my triggered anxiety that I chose to protect my health first; cease conversations with an unruly woman not trained to accommodate you the patient and leave the building by making a calm but stern statement of one word. To 'leave' coupled with a non threatening pointing away from me. This being the clearest and only responsibly assessable form of communication in such a state. As my speech was so disconnected in a bodily feedback loop I know well. I was not able to and wasn't given an opportunity to collect myself in this delicate state from a diagnosed PTSD condition that has continued in a flared state from this conduct. If you, like me suffer from similar, there are other options to give your one free benefit of the doubt to. Here your insurance may not be able to do their legally obligated job on obtaining records for what I am sure is a minor oversight. With a possibility of discrimination of a patients provider-triggered mental state that threatened no one being wrongfully held against you in a legally actionable level of misconduct.

I always have to wait around 30 minutes on the phone for my call to be answered !…read more And we always wait close to 2 hours to be seen by our family doctor !!! If you can't see your patients on time, please book them properly

Show up on time and wait, wait, wait. Booked an annual…read morephysical with Dr. Meena Sharma for January 4/25. Five days before got a phone call saying my health card was invalid. It was not. Two days before got a 'reminder' phone call. One day before got a 'reminder' email. So, I showed up five minutes before my noon appointment. There were 11 people in the waiting area. At 12:05 PM got called in to "check my "vitals" which included height and blood pressure but not temperature or weight. Was sent back out to the waiting area at 12:10 PM. And there I sat until 1:10 PM - 70 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. Patients showed up and left and when I checked about the delay, I was told the number of people still "in front" of me. Not helpful. Finally got invited into the inner sanctum. In the examining room a "physician assistant (PA)" took my history (already in their system; no changes) and conducted the entire physical examination even completed the Lab Requisition. Screaming child in the next room throughout. No Dr. Sharma in sight. She appeared ten minutes after the exam, signed the Requisition and asked if I had any health concerns. Certainly not here! I left never to return. I will visit my dog's veterinarian before I go back there. Santé Alliance Health is a commercial business masquerading as a medical clinic. They have a multi-page handout listing extra charges. A missed physical is $80. A prescription renewal is $20 by phone or book an in-person appointment (for which they bill OHIP the consult fee). There is a connected pharmacy to which they can refer you for "convenience". They overbook appointments with no respect for patients' time. Avoid. The ER is better.
