If I could put no stars up there I would. Dr. Healey was my grandson's doctor for six years from…read morethe day he was born. Providing a standard abdominal exam with every well child exam, he never seemed to pick up a tumor the size of an orange on his adrenal gland on top of the kidney of a very skinny boy. When his mom noted his loss of weight and pallor color and slight limp, she brought him back to the almighty Dr. Healey, pediatrician, psychiatrist, cardiologist, urologist, orthopedist-- you name it, he did it. After a months time he concluded that my grandson had juvenile arthritis because of the limp, after taking a hip x-ray showing an irregularity, no CT scan, no MRI. He then sent him to an orthopedic doctor in Syracuse who diagnosed the huge tumor on his adrenal gland as Neuroblastoma Stage IV high risk with metastasized tumors in his hip, pelvis, and lymph nodes. The metastasized tumor in his hip gsdvtitslly broken his hip! His own patient for six years and he never picked this up??? They said in Syracuse that he'd had this cancer for at least 2 1/2 years! My six year old little grandson died after suffering for 21 months. Thank you Dr. Healey. And he never called to express his sympathy to his patient's family who were all his patient's also, but no more .

Normally I assume when I go to a doctors office I'll get asked the same questions every time I visit, but Dr.Healey remembers important details from previous visits when I go to see him. If you need a doctor and can make an appointment with him, I'd recommend it. He is the best doctor I have seen in the area, and I know for a fact he works hard to make sure health care in general improves in the area.

This is not a "care" facility. They don't actually care. Every time I've been there, we have had…read moreto see a different GP because the turnover is so high. The first GP we had was on the news for "patient ettiquette" basically talking down to people and telling them what to wear. This isn't a fashion show. People are sick and need care, they're not going to show up in a *ucking tuxedo!! Next, we were going overseas, and needed to see a GP to get our daughter checked out. The GP treated it very dismissively, and booked us an appointment on the same day we were going to leave, so we had to email them (because for some reason you can't change appointments over the phone... well the reason is that they want everything in writing to cover their butts, because their receptionists don't understand English, and can't take appointments properly). The next GP didn't even know which patient she was seeing, she called my daughter by a different name, which likely means she didn't review the file before my daughter was seen. I guess everything is in the computer, right?? They have a policy that you must be 15 minutes early for appointments, but when they are late by 45 minutes, they act indignant if you bring it up, not even so much as an apology. In fact, they start making snarky quips and digs at you. It's unbelievable! Now, my daughter has had severe stomach pains for over a week, and they made her wait an entire week, telling us to go to the children's hospital, who then told us to see our GP!! This place is literally run like the hospital in Idiocracy. If I were dying, and needed urgent care, this is the LAST place I would go, because they'd probably put me on MAID without my consent. When reading this, you might think I'm joking, or overstating things. I can assure you this isn't the case. The only reason we're still using them is because all other GPs are not taking patients in our area, and this is literally the only option. I guess maybe Canada should do better to keep doctors in Canada, instead of having a brain drain to the US, where they actually pay them a decent wage!

This clinic looks nice and clean, even inviting considering it's a clinic. It's a little hard to…read morefind the single entrance to the mall - near the rail crossing and OC Transpo lanes. The waiting rom is big and spacious, with lots of seating. When we walked in, there were a few people but it wasn't crowded, so the wait was not eternal. The patients run the gamut from pregnant women to elderly people. However, before going there please note that it's a private clinic, which has a 6-month wait to get in!
