Dr. Guaghan's office requires a credit card payment of $200 to make an appointment. I was told…read morethat if the appointment was kept, the insurance company would be billed and the $200 would be returned. I provided my insurance company's name and was told the office accepted that insurance. However, my $200 was not returned. When I inquired about this, I was given additional information that meant I would not be reimbursed for the $200. This information should have been given to me at the time the appointment was made not during or after the appointment. I provided enough information to the person who I made the appointment with to have been told that, in this case, the $200 would not be reimbursed, but the office is not taking responsibility for their error. Instead, I was told this has been their policy for a long while and it's in writing; they don't seem to understand that their policies have to be communicated correctly and timely to the patients. The info. in writing was provided at the time of the appointment which was too late to cancel since cancellations are required 24 hours in advance. I saw on Manta this office is estimated to earn $500,000 to 1 million dollars a year and has 1 - 4 employees. The doctor's policy of charging people in advance is working well for her but please be cautious when giving your money to her because, in my situation, I was not given the correct information to make an informed decision. Based on the information I received, I felt certain that as long as the appointment was kept, the $200 would be reimbursed but it was not and there was absolutely no sympathy or apology or any concern whatsoever that the doctor has $200 of my money that was caused by an error of her office staff. Shame on her.

We came to realize that regenative medicine could be a possible help to him. Dr Fenton had my son SO POSITIVE after the consult. My son is very knowledgeable about his diseases, and he was very impressed with Dr Fenton's plan. And ready to drive from Boston to Vermont, no matter how uncomfortable. I've never seen him so excited, and so believing that a doctor finally, this doctor, understood his issues. Fenton sends a plan, we call to make the in-person procedure appointments. The secretary stumbles around and says "Dr Fenton has decided he doesn't want to move forward with your son." WHAT?? My son is thrilled with this doctor. Excited to start treatments. Why?? "He just doesn't think he can help him now." We FINALLY get Fenton on the phone again, after begging. He agrees with my son that his negative decision was hasty, and he WILL move forward. We call to set the appointment a few days later. "Dr Fenton has chose to not move forward...again." WHAT? Why would he do that to that to someone suffering. To get their hope up? "The doctor really wears his heart on his sleeve." No...THAT IS JUST THE OPPOSITE! He has NO FEELINGS or REGARDS for my son's mental state, and BELIEF in him! His office says we should consult with his colleague in CT...who was far less knowledgeable, caring, and actually, rude. Since then, my son has gotten worse and in more pain as the weeks and months progressed. We hope Fenton can live with himself. And his "heart on his sleeve."

I was roadtripping for about a month and was near the last third of my roadtrip when I got to Montpelier. I did a search for massage in the area and I connected so much with Corrina's website and ethos. The hour-long, customized massage with her was one of the best I have ever had, and I've traveled all over the country and the world, lived on 3 different continents and had massages all over. I lived in Bali long term as well and her massage is up to par and just as incredible as the world-renowned massages I had there! I HIGHLY recommend going to see her for bodywork and beyond! I can't wait to visit Vermont and Montpelier again so I can see her again for another session! Thank you Corrina!!!

I had also been receiving 5-element acupuncture treatments from my dad for most of my life, and my other forays into Chinese medicine had always felt like they lacked something. After my first session with Corinna I knew that I would be going back. It's not just the beauty of Amma (which is the best of both worlds--massage and acupuncture), but Corinna's intuitive healing capabilities and gentle soul that left an impression. She is an encyclopedia of knowledge, and her training in Chinese medicine, herbalism, and nutrition blend together to create truly effective healing strategies. Working with Corinna has helped me unravel negative patterns in my body (and mind), and I always love her practical dietary and herbal recommendations. Corinna is blossoming into a potent healer, and I would recommend her services to all.

It is so tempting for me to seek out care only when the pain gets excruciating. "I am busy, the…read moredrive takes too long, it'll get better eventually on its own, I don't have time for exercises"...these were my excuses UNTIL...until the pain got so bad and the movement so restrictive that it was hard to work in any form, even at my desk, and the outdoors that I love felt too daunting to enjoy. I went to Dr. Mike & committed 100% to the process. I made it a priority. I went in on the schedule he suggested and thank goodness for Melinda's follow up and their automated reminders. I did the exercises he provided that were specially curated for me and my pain points. I did them religiously. I started this because I was told by an interventional pain clinic that I was required to try 6 weeks of Chiro, massage, or PT BEFORE I could get a referral to the pain clinic. The medical clinic actually made this a requirement. They told me that often this alternative course of care alone resolves the pain without medical intervention. The climate of healthcare is changing and more and more I am seeing all types of providers work together and understand one another's areas of expertise and ability to positively impact lasting improvement and resolution of symptoms. I am so glad I not only went to Dr. Mike but I listened to his instructions and I followed them and I am well on my way to feeling better. Go, but don't just go, DO! Do the work, do the follow up, make the effort, commit to the process. Lesson learned for me & I am so grateful.

I've seen so many specialists that all ended with the conclusion that my pain wasn't bad enough or not worth doing anything about. Waking up in constant pain and being told there is nothing they can do and wait until it gets worse isn't the best quality of life in my opinion. Essentially, I felt dismissed and ignored and had just about given up and accepted my chronic pain sentence. From my first phone call to the office I spoke to Dr. Micheal Townsend directly, not only improved my outlook that there may actually be people who still care about their patients but who also was confident he could do something to help! I've had a couple visits so far and everything was laid out to me from the beginning and I was able to get answers to questions I've been asking medical doctors for YEARS. I am hopeful that he will be able to greatly improve my quality of life, and get me back to functioning daily without constant pain! I 100% without any hesitation recommend this office for those seeking a doctor and office manager, Melinda, who both go above and beyond their call of duty to help you from making visits more affordable to making sure you are actually improving while keep you educated about the process along the way! They have done an amazing job so far, and I am confident that it will only continue to get better! Thank you Dr. Townsend and Melinda for making me hopeful that I will one day live happier and healthier, with less pain!

I needed a PCP at the time so I had called the Great North Medical Ctr. and she was whom I was assigned to not a Doctor but a PA pretending to be a Doctor. She seemed pleasant enough at first until she started to diagnose me with all kinds of illnesses that I was sure I didn't have, My wife came to an office visit with me at one point and told her that I did not have Hypertension , I had what was called "white coat syndrome" she had an immediate dislike for my wife, My wife suggested a BP monitor Kathy agreed. Bottom line I wore the monitor for 48 hrs and returned , results all normal NO high BP reading. This PA was too quick to try to prescribe an RX for something I didn't need. Then she started in on a load of other things , when I felt perfectly healthy. The only issue I did develop was a belly button hernia which I knew needed surgery , my wife scheduled it in VT and I went to an appt. to see Kathleen for the referral before she knew the appointment in VT had already been made, she started to tell me she would set up an appointment with some surgeon in Plattsburgh and I said NO, I am already set up for a Surgeon in VT , I just need the referral faxed over to them for insurances purposes, She was pissed off and knew my wife had set it up. I said , I want to live and there are NO specialist in Plattsburgh for this type of surgery. I did have the surgery and all went well. I finally decided to get a new PCP and I heard Kathy was leaving anyway so great time to change. I asked for all my records which were paper at that time , I was totally blown away by some of the things she has written in MY medical record. She had wrote more about my wife than me, stating that my wife caused me stress ! What ? I never told her such a thing , my wife caused HER stress. I did not like the unprofessional things she wrote about my wife in my medical records that had no reason to had been written and were not true. Kathleen Glenn is a wanna be Doctor with no personality , no as they say bed side manner, rude , drug pusher, quick to diagnose and should not be allowed to be practicing medicine unless under strict supervision if at all. I would not bring an animal to her. If I am wrong and she is no longer at Dr. Ambler's , I apologize to the office. If she is there DO not accept her as your PCP she's a know it all and know's nothing.
