I have been receiving facials on and off for the last decade. It was always so-so, see you again in four weeks and I went on my merry way. I have never received such attentive care until I received a facial by Amanda. Not only did she take the time to truly listen to my concerns, but checked in with me post facial. I live overseas and I have been a client of Amanda Hyde's for a couple years. I have followed her from spa to spa, and never miss a chance to get an appointment with her whenever I am in town regardless if I just flew in on leave from Afghanistan or Ireland. :) I have sensitive/acne prone skin and Amanda is so great, that by the time I am done with my treatment (BTW - don't miss getting dermaplane and oxygen services added on to your facial), my skin looks great, less red and irritated and as soft as a baby's bum. I've had several facials now with Amanda and can attest to her amazing expertise and professionalism! But the experience goes beyond that. I think she must be some kind of magician! It is a very calming and relaxing room where she works. The first time, I nearly fell asleep. My skin felt so refreshed and dewy afterward. I LOVE Amanda, she is the best esthetician I know! She is the only person who will touch my face, and it is because of Amanda that I have incredible skin at 45! Like many others, I have followed Amanda from Belle Visage to her new location at Surburbia, but honestly, it just does not matter where she is at, I'll drive! If you have a teen with break out problems, send them to Amanda, she does a fabulous job to educate them about clean skin, and set them up with the teen kit from Jan Marini. If I could give Amanda more than 5 stars I would do so in a heartbeat! She is the best esthetician that I have been to that has understood what my skin needs. My skin is notoriously sensitive and acne prone and has always had flare ups from other facials. I came to her with a flare up that had been lasting me months after going to a different esthetician. It has been 2 days since my facial and I have not had any flare ups. In fact the acne I came in with has already started going away. All in all she is the best! read more
