Where to begin…read more... It all started when the transmission on my high mileage Infiniti went bad. After talking to several local shops, and working out that their prices were well out of my budget, I consulted Mr. Lee. Let me tell you something... his hands down, no nonsense approach is next to none. He didn't sugarcoat anything and told me what was exactly wrong with my trans and what to do. He dismantled and rebuilt the entire thing, changing out worn out gears, installing a new valve body, torque converter, flushing, and even installed a new cooling system specifically for the transmission. And the best part... he was the cheapest one! Experience and track record say a lot and Mr. Lee is as experienced as they come, and will definitely let you know about it. His knowledge and wisdom of his craft is the equivalent of watching a painter with a brush. Most shops won't go to the lengths that Mr. Lee does and with more than 50 years of experience in transmissions and automotive work, there isn't a shop in the DMV that can compete with that. Lee's transmission is exactly the kind of mom and pops shop you can depend on. Reliable, honest, and fair. You can't beat that. Do not hesitate to see him for your transmission and vehicle needs. You WILL NOT be disappointed.

Honest, trustworthy people and dependable service…read more I have been coming to Rossi's for years and one thing I can say is that they have always been fair and consistent. Their work and service repairs have been performed with complete competence and confidence, in that this is my second BMW that I have entrusted to them instead of dealing with the BMW "stealership" directly. Their prices are fair, competitive and upfront. That is something I can really come to appreciate in this day and age. No haggling, pressure or sense of upsell from the team at Rossi's. During my most recent visit, I came in thinking I was encountering a brake system or service issue. Steve, the Service Mgr., took the time out of his schedule to personally ride with me in my car to experience the issue for himself and immediately spotted the problem. I was able to see the problem firsthand as well --while he drove the car during that time. He then took me into the garage and showed me exactly what was really my issue with a similar BMW that was currently on his auto bay lift. Turns out it was a separate issue which was actually not even associated to my brake system. And, here I was thinking it was time for a brake pads and rotors service that can be expensive. It turned out to be a more simpler, cheaper problem to fix. He was able to identify the problem and provide repair alternatives before leaving the shop. I must say, I really appreciated the 1 on 1 time spent to identify and address my problem. This is something special and rare, as to most auto mechanics around the city are too busy to speak to you in full and prefer you to just drop the car off....to only call you hours later --- which sometimes causes misunderstanding, misdiagnosis of the car issue and/or wasted time trying to explain your concerns all over again. You get what you pay for at Rossi's and that's the confidence that the job is going to get done right, the first time and repaired as requested. I also appreciate that they make recommendations on potential other repairs or unseen issues and are able to explain the problems noted in detail for you to understand. They are very efficient on estimating completion times and providing updates on your car as well though-out the process. Nothing but good things to say about Rossi's, Rod, Steve (Service Mgr.), Hamilton (Office Mgr.) and their team. Give these guys a try.....you would be glad you did.

But I'm just confused to if it's fixed why would I have to tow it back? It's drivable yet shouldn't be driven Just alittle disappointed because I didn't mind paying for my vehicle to be fixed I payed with no hesitation but to not be guaranteed after payment was made sucks.

The pricing is worth the level of assurance I received, especially with the warranty and follow-up. I needed my vehicle turned around quickly, and they accommodated my timeline without cutting corners. What stood out most was that I never felt pressured at any point. Instead, they went out of their way in a respectful and professional manner to earn my business. As someone who usually wants a second opinion, I appreciated how they clearly explained what needed to be done, why, and showed proof of the work. They delivered exactly what I needed and got my vehicle back to me on time. I'll gladly continue to bring my business here moving forward.

The staff was incredibly attentive, honest, and welcoming from the start. Even though it's a smaller shop, they have a comfortable waiting area with free coffee, snacks, and water, which was a really nice touch. They took care of my oil change and filter without an appointment and finished in less than an hour and a half. What really stood out to me was their honesty and generosity -- they even told me my next oil change would be free, which I've never experienced before. I've been to dealerships and many other auto service places around the Washington area over the past 20 years, and I can truly say this level of service is rare. This was my first visit, but based on this experience, they've earned my five stars. I'll definitely be coming back and highly recommend them!
