Easy to reserve and confirm what was needed (updated tags). The tech was a little more than 30 minutes later than the window of time, but that's not the end of the world. The only complaints I could think of was the address on the Service Agreement paperwork was correct in some spots and incorrect in other spots, so the tech ended up at the wrong address and had to call me to clarify. The tech was transparent about the final cost of billing, which rivaled other companies. He was a bit confused about how to put the extinguisher back on the hook, and I had to show him what to do. (Apparently our extinguishers look different than whatever is popular these days.) He also thought ours expired until I showed him the sticker that the prior company confirmed meant we had several years before we needed to replace them. In an odd sorta way, I'm glad we had the no-show company last year so I was better prepared for how to answer questions during the inspection this year. I'm not sure I would've known about the second sticker if not for that. Friendly tech and easy to talk to. I'd be happy to re-hire them next year if I'm still on the board. Customer service via phone and email was attentive, too. I'm still waiting on an updated email bill, but other than that, all good.

But it seems that era has ended. I came in a hot mess, I have no design skills. I relied on the sales person to help me and I thought she was amazing. She was kind, patient and seemed to really get me and my condo style - benig "vintage" and wanting to modernize was beyond me. She was super helpful and made me feel like she knew exactly what I needed. That was until I left the showroom. I ordered two ceiling fans from her that day, it wasn't cheap. I also ordered one I'd found on my own online. I hired someone reputable to install them for me and I was all set. But then they left and within days the two I purchased from Crest (different manufacturers) were both on the fritz. Hard to believe for sure, but both manufacturers agreed this was a fluke and they both had inherent issues requiring replacement. And then I had to replace them, which meant I had to pay for the labor again. One of the fixtures is in a room I hadn't needed the fan for in the first year. But then I did, and it didn't work. At that same time I noticed the on/off switch wasn't working properly either. I called the manufacturer and they agreed it was a warranty claim and to call Crest to replace the wall switch. Not something I feel comfortable doing on my own. When I talked to Crest, they said they'd order me a part and well... they did but never called to tell me it had come in. I called on my own three weeks later and they said it was there waiting for me. I verified I could wait for the weekend to get it. Of course they are closed on Sundays so It had to be during the short Saturday hours. I raced to get there in the window only to find a lot of confusion. It wasn't waiting for me at all. The woman who said she'd call me was there and surprised I was asking questions. She said she hadn't heard back from the manufacturer to answer my question about paying for labor, and they all just threw their hands up and said they couldn't help me because the manager wasn't there. Let's just say it's the end of an era and I won't be back for business in the future. Good luck with your purchases after you leave the store.

Gary the owner took down all my information and said they were going to come out to measure that same week on Thursday. No one called nor showed up. I called the next week and they said the lost my information. Took down everything again and said someone was gonna come out and no one did. I called again and they finally sent someone to measure. After that I waited a few days and never received the estimate. I called back and they said the guy that came to Easter had them at home and if they weren't able to get them from him they would come out to remeasure. The next day they never called to say he brought the measurements and no one came back out. Fast forward to today and I called again and the owner Gary said he didn't have time and he would come by. He showed up an hour after he said he would no call and just knocked on the door. I was in the garage working and missed him at the door. I don't know how they are still even in business over there but they have terrible customer service. Unfortunately, this is the only place in the Chicago area that builds screens. Screen kits won't work because mine are too big and now I have to use an online company with $300 shipping costs. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE THE WORST!!!!!!
