    Steampunk magic and burlesque show

"The Alwun House Foundation stands as an exemplary model of engaging the power of art to transform lives and transform community. For more than 40 years, the Alwun House foundation has created opportunities for artists, and served as a pivotal beacon in the Garfield community and as a foundation for the downtown Phoenix arts scene. Their work extends across artistic and cultural boundaries, and brings diverse audiences, community members and artists together. Without the pioneering work of Alwun House, much of what is taken for granted in the vibrancy and success of downtown's flourishing arts community would not have been possible." Governor's Arts Award, 2013 As one of the first artist nonprofit alternative / contemporary art galleries in the valley, Alwun House has done much to support local and emerging artists. From supporting local schools, to improving the environment, they continuously seek to better the community. And apart from all the incredible things they do, their events are also a blast. Follow them on Facebook to learn what they've got going on, or check out their website to buy tickets a bit cheaper. Their burlesque and theme nights are some of the best, they offer adult beverages, beautiful scenery, and a wonderful sense of community and acceptance.

Do expect to see transvestites on 8 inch platform shoes dancing and laughing with the glitter dusted, the body painted, the latex clad, and the goths.

It has similar feel to the Rave and Aragon but definitely a much more updated/new venue. Check-in security process was smooth, drinks were good we ordered the margaritas in the refillable cups but never got refills because I'm not the person that leaves there spot at the concert and it's also a fairly large drink! We were right up at the stage and during the opening act and main they actually had a beverage/bar cart come through at the security fence which I thought was pretty smart. Great sound, wonderful view from where we managed to stand, and good crowd.

The venue felt significantly oversold, to the point where it was nearly impossible to move comfortably. From where I was standing, I couldn't see the stage at all, which made it hard to enjoy the performance I came to see. Beyond just being crowded, it felt unsafe. The number of people packed into the space seemed excessive, and I genuinely question whether it exceeded fire code limits. People were standing all the way back into the bar area. Navigating through the crowd was difficult, and there didn't appear to be enough room for people to exit easily if needed. I've been to this venue since its 2017 opening and had much better experiences, but this event felt poorly managed. I hope they take crowd capacity and guest safety more seriously in the future.

Super cool event on Valentine's Day with the Phx Warehouse Project and Relentless Beats called LaLa…read moreLand. The music was awesome and overall I had a great time, I would have given 5 stars if everything was cool, except not everything was cool. Main issue I have with the venue is lack of restrooms for that many people. There has to be more access to restrooms with people drinking and dancing and partying. The line for both inside and outside toilets was insane... I heard so many people commenting about the situation. Maybe next time, more porta potties outside so 1) there are more options and less lines, and 2) the ones that are available aren't so disgusting. I've used many porta johns at many festivals, for this size venue the 3 they had outside (without leaving the show) were gross. I literally could not touch anything in there. Just hover and pee. They had 2 more when you leave but there were no ins/outs so those weren't an option. This can be done better, I know cause I've been to places where taking care of peoples basic needs are more attended to. Anyway, otherwise great time. Music & sound were on point and the lasers were so cool. #ilovelazers

Warehouse 215 is a nice venue. While I don't know a ton about what types of events they host outside of the one I attended, they had portable chairs set up surrounding the performance. Not the most comfortable chairs but bearable for the hour performance. There's exposed wood on the ceiling which adds to the aesthetic. During the event I attended, there were bars both inside the main area and out (no food though) as well as bathrooms both inside the main area and out. After buying an adult beverage, I accidentally left my credit card at the bar. When I realized it a few minutes later, the bartender was waiting for me with my card. Crisis averted! Overall, pretty nice venue.
