my time at Wonderspaces was lovely! while they had some power issues affecting a number of exhibits, it was still a really lovely time. I think they could've added in some more exhibits to really fill the space and add some more meat, but other than that there really isn't a lot else I would change! My favourite exhibit was the hanging lights and if you're gonna go, you HAVE to let the three Paul's draw you!

Expensive and boring. I hope you read this review before you paid for this experience. It takes like 3-5 min to walk through. We stayed longer and watched the little videos but nothing too crazy. Literally finished the experience and were like "dang thats it?" Wouldnt recommend or do this ever again.

Came to Wonderspaces while visiting AZ as it was heavily recommended. It's located inside the Scottsdale Fashion Square. We bought our tickets online and made reservations prior. Upon arrival, we had to fill out a form and then was able to enter. They had so many cool interactive installations! Some installations, I found myself enjoying more than others. There's no time limit, which is nice. I definitely took my time enjoying each room. They have a full bar on site as well. It's a perfect spot for a date night!

Although it looked unassuming at first coming through the mall, I was very impressed with Wonderspaces! It's a really cool art gallery with multiple interactive exhibits for all ages. The layout of the gallery is fun, with exhibits behind curtains or immediately around corners. Give yourself about an hour to move throughout the entirety of it. It's definitely worth it! Great spots for photo ops, too. They have a full bar to grab a drink and take with you throughout. It's a great date night spot or way to beat the heat!

I love museums, just not this one. The price point is high when the museum is so small. Walked through the entire museum in less than 40 minutes. I guess maybe I need to study art more before I can enjoy this museum. My date brought me here and I'm glad he paid and not me. If I would've paid I would've been mad at the money wasted. The museum was pretty empty since it was Easter. The employees were super nice and helpful though. Would i go back? Absolutely not!

Mom and daughter - so fun!

I went to Wonderspaces as part of a group outing for work back in May of 2019 and we enjoyed it... It's a fun, unique experience with an evolving lineup of art installations. It's now almost five years later, and when I was trying to think of a fun activity for my daughter and I and another mom/daughter, I thought of Wonderspaces... We went there on Friday night and it was a perfect little activity. We made a night of it by visiting Wonderspaces, doing a little shopping at the mall, and then having dinner at Moxie. We enjoyed the interactive exhibits, colors, all different formats of art, and especially the current Notes on Blindness: Into Darkness VR experience. Rules and Radiance were also favorites! If you're seeking something different and fun for people of all ages and interests, this is something I'd recommend. I think they suggest 75 minutes, but we were in and out within less than an hour.

A must-visit for all tourists coming in to Scottsdale, AZ. If you're short on time and can only visit a few top-picks in town, be sure to add Wonderspaces to your list. Numerous fantastic displays here. You will not be disappointed. Particularly, many people are often intrigued by the kinetic mirror display and the synchronized strobe light rotating sculptures. But really, I found all their exhibits enthralling.

wonderspacesaz is an art gallery highlighting the work of artists to bring a passion for the arts to everyone. They have four locations: Philly, San Diego, Austin, and here in Scottsdale. Located inside @scottsdalefashionsquare , the idea is to make art accessible to all. There are 14 exhibits at a time, and they rotate every 1-2 months. We had fun going as a daytime date, and the bar inside added to the fun. We were served specialty cocktails as the bartender explained the art to us. She was very friendly and pointed out details that we hadn't noticed. Our favorite cocktail was the Gooseberry Marigold Mule. We refilled a few times and were given a clean glass at the end to take home as a souvenir. We spent 90 minutes there and could have stayed longer! (Dang early school release day). It was quiet and therapeutic. Honestly, when we first arrived, we thought we'd breeze right through. Thanks to the fascinating exhibits, and cocktails, we truly enjoyed exploring at a relaxed pace to really take it all in.

I won two tickets to come here and I had an issue redeeming them with codes. Luckily the manager was super sweet and helpful and we got it all sorted out pretty quickly. Once inside I was unsure if I would have a good time because I do have some sensory issues however it was not as overwhelming as I thought. I would definitely come again.

Such an amazing experience, the art was interactive and breath taking. Adult and kid friendly A little hard to find since it is inside a mall but it's right next to the food court.

This was such an amazing experience! This was a sensory exhibit that evoked so much emotion that I couldn't pinpoint nor did I know it was stored. The art pieces were just so beautiful. Even though I don't live here in Arizona I will still recommend this exhibit to all who will listen. They also told me they try to refresh the exhibits every 3 months. I could see myself coming back ever so often to see the new exhibits if they're anything like this.

One of the art exhibits - didn't remember the names unfortunately. It shall be dubbed the liquid rainbow.

Cool art exhibit. Didn't take too long to get through - about as much time as advertised. The art was interesting. Some pieces were incredibly unique. Some were not as much, but then, art's quite subjective. Was it worth the price? Maybe not by yourself, unless you really enjoy art and love spending time contemplating it alone, but it was fun to experience with my partner.

Candace B.

It was fun but very short for the price. Some of the rooms need more explanation and it feels weird having to hunt someone down to ask. Am I glad I tried it, yes. Would, I recommend it, if you're on a budget no - if not then yeah it's cool.

Prior to going, I thought to myself: what can possibly make this weekly event so amazing. I thought I would be underwhelmed, Boy, was I wrong! I checked out the Art Walk for the first time in February. It took me a little while to find parking. Scottsdale has plenty of free street parking (which I always appreciate), including surface lots, but this is a popular event. After circling around for a few minutes, I was able to find a spot. In my opinion, here's the best way to enjoy the experience...have it come to you organically. Which is tough to say coming from someone who is a planner. Just walk around and walk into any and all of the art galleries that seem interesting to you. Of course, you can visit all of these galleries outside of the Scottsdale Art Walk. What makes this experience different is that rather than closing around 5 p.m., they keep their doors open late. Many of them will also offer complimentary drinks including wine, champagne, and cocktails. Awesome! With it being Scottsdale, you'll see a focus on Western and Native American art. That is not by any means the extent of what you'll find though. Some art galleries specialize in other styles of painting including surrealism, abstract art, French impressionism, or pointillism. Are y'all impressed with my knowledge of art? All of the art books I read when I was a kid are coming in clutch now. The art is generally quite expensive so I didn't buy anything but I still very much enjoyed the experience. You're also likely to find entertainment on the streets e.g. musicians and street performers. My favorite of the bunch I saw was a Native American performance. There are also Gold Palette Walks which are special versions of the weekly Scottsdale Art Walk. I haven't been to one of these, so I can't touch on how they compare, but I would like to at some point. I feel like a Scottsdale Art Walk is an experience all locals should check out at some point!
