Love to see small shops supported by the community, and after stopping in for the first time I can see why! The store is reasonably priced and has a great selection. I adore that there are demo decks to help select your next set of tarot or oracle cards. I will keep this in mind for the future! Additionally, they have a wide range of Crystal Journey Candles which I've loved for over a decade. The little explanation sheets are always great for beginners or those who like to reference from time to time like me. Blessed be and many blessings to your store! I'll definitely be referring friends and family as well as returning myself.

They had asked us in our class to submit a photo for viewing for a student photography exhibit at Art Intersection. I have visited numerous exhibits over the years since discovering this place. Art Intersection is located on the second floor of the Heritage Court Building. In addition to being a gallery, they offer a variety of photography classes for both beginners and experts. They also have a wet darkroom and both a process and digital lab that you can rent out. I have taken a photoshop class here in the past and enjoyed getting to know the founder Alan Fitzgerald. He has a deep passion and love for photography and is fun to chat with about photography. Every few months Art Intersection showcases an artist's photography work in their gallery. This includes an opening night reception where you can meet the artist and chat with them about their work. It's a great way to learn about many of the local photographers here in the Valley and view their work. The annual "No Strangers" exhibit is one of my favorites to check out. They used to have a fun event called Phototapas where they would celebrate the art of photography during the month of February. If you want to check out some great photography work and avoid the hassle of a larger museum, Art Intersection is open throughout the week and is free to visit.

The people here are very friendly, especially a young man named Daniel, that has outstanding knowledge of everything related to trains and that era. What a great experience that he went with us through the train cars and explained features, operations and overall scope enlightening us on some of the unknown details from railroading. A very cool step back into time if you're in the nostalgia and just enjoy learning. Highly recommend going here.

I won't give it away--you'll have to go on the tour yourself. Upon arrival, there's free parking on the premises in a designated grassy area. John was a great tour guide--nice, informative, and absolutely hilarious! There were a few places we couldn't see that I personally would've loved to explore, such as the hidden rooms behind the doors and the son's room upstairs. Due to time, those areas weren't included, which was a bit of a bummer. Overall, though, the tour was enjoyable. Since the place was built in the '80s, there aren't really any ghost stories--probably because in the '80s the only ghosts people talked about were the Ghostbusters. The property definitely needs a bit of love. The carpets need cleaning, and the whole place could use a refresh to bring back that '80s charm instead of feeling more like the '50s. I did love the artwork throughout, especially the stair rails, doors, and mural. A small on-site café or coffee spot would be amazing--there's so much potential here to elevate the experience, especially if they plan to maintain it as historic grounds. They no longer host weddings here, which is disappointing since I remember driving by years ago and seeing celebrations happening on the property. Overall, the tour is worth the price and definitely something to check out for yourself. Drink your coffee before you go! And remember: don't touch anything on the tour. It's always embarrassing when the guide has to remind everyone because of that one person who just can't follow the rules. Sheesh! Why is there always that one human?‍ The kitchen was definitely a 80s kitchen. In any case, I recommend checking it out if you're a history buff or just simply need something to do. Tours are held on the weekends in 3 sessions... check their site and get your tickets online. (Subject to change) Tell John that you heard it here! Btw... There's a cute gift shop on premises that sells lavender soaps and trinkets. They also sell sugar cookies and soda No coffee on the premises at all!

The crowd is much thinner, maybe not ideal for vendors (I know), but for me, I liked having the elbow room. The kids area is setup really nice! There are a bunch of different things for kids to do! Zip line, obstacle course, rides, and much more. There are many different types of vendors. From candle makers to food trucks. 2 different stages on either end of Arizona. The south stage seems to be the main stage and is also the location for the beer tent. You must have your ID checked and get an armband before you can buy beers. Where this party went wrong was the music. The music didnt set the mood for a block party at all. I felt the music i heard was boring and the tone of the party was toned down. Bands with more exciting upbeat music would have been nicer. And I would suggest having a DJ to spin some tunes when bands aren't playing. All in all, a great people watching event. Not too crowded, not too hot, plenty of places to sit, next to a park... who could ask for anything better?

You can buy a day pass or a weekend pass. Everything was organized well. There's plenty of parking at and around the hotel. The food and drinks were provided in the courtyard with seating, and were reasonably priced. You can also buy food and drink at the hotel lobby's bar. We liked the sheer amount of musicians and how there were multiple areas, one stage was on the patio, another was in the ballroom, and there were two other additional rooms. You were handed a schedule with your pass and welcomed to go in and out as you please. There were a range of artists from a pianist team couple from Italy who played beautifully to a band of 5 saxes who played the finale. It was all wonderful to hear. I'll be sure to go again next year! The musicians also share their stories. One opened for Cab Calloway, another had a father that worked in Desi Arnaz's band (aka Ricky Ricardo from I Love Lucy). These are not just any jazz musicians - they're seasoned players! I'd like to add that they also did well under Covid-19 restrictions. All the staff wore masks and masks were required for attendees, also seating was spaced out accordingly.
