Fantastic Experience with Michael Corrado and the receptionist at Always Speedy Appliance. The receptionist explained how the company works and Michael came on time, was polite, professional, knowledegable and efficient. He diagnosed the problem with my LG dishwasher and was thorough in explaining it to me. Michael Corrado was very prompt in arriving on time. Very knowledgeable and I was very impressed with his attention to our home, he wore booties over his shoes. He quickly found the issue with our Dishwasher finding a silver spoon which had accidentally wiggled its way down underneath the lower spray head. He was very courteous and recommended we look for a replacement Dishwasher as he noted that the motor underneath was corroded. If I were rating this solely on him, this would be a 5-star rating. However, I too experienced a complete lack of professionalism and courtesy by Cameron H, one of the employees in the office. If the owners of this company read these reviews, my advice is to either get Cameron some training, or get someone to replace him. You are undoubtedly losing business because of him. Yelp came through for me again. I had a refrigerator that quit working, so I called to schedule a service call. Within two hours of my call the technician arrived and determined the source of the problem, a part that needed to be ordered. They lived up to their name SPEEDY in every way. I was given a call when the part arrived and received the same prompt service as before. The refrigerator runs fine again with minimal amount of time on my part at a reasonable price. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Cameron hung up on my husband for a stupid reason. They came out to fix our freezer/ice maker twice and it doesn't work again! He said to contact our management company, which made no sense. We said we'd pay to have them fix it but he argued it could be two different issues! Then just hung up! Don't call anyone else!!! You will get robbed. My dryer broke and I made the mistake of calling another company. Their estimate was close to $700 and they had to order a part which could take 3-5 days. I was so upset I hung up and looked for another company. Thank God I found Speedy Appliance Service. They fixed my dryer for under $300 and they came out within an hour of my call. Cameron Hubbard and Matt were extremely professional, efficient and honest. Always Speedy Appliance Repair came out to look at our outdoor refrigerator, charged $169 for the service call and order a $500+ part. They came back and installed the part and the refrigerator was working fine but they did not subtract the initial service call from the bill. We called them back because the unit was not put in place correctly again another $169 service call for nothing. The unit stopped working again ant they were going to charges another $169 to come out because it was beyond the 90 day coverage period (not by much). The office staff was not helpful and not willingly to work with me. read more

Whatever you do, avoid these guys. Their guy came out for $139 to look at my washing machine that was not working, He was at my house for 15 minutes and told me it was broken. I was told after two or three days they would call me with an estimate to fix it. Their estimate was $1,500. I can buy a new one for less than $1,000. What a waste of my money with Always Speedy. We used this company several months ago to repair a LG dishwasher. Charged over one hundred dollars to let us know the pump needed replacing, but did not address the loss of power. One week later, they installed the new pump for hundreds more. The light on the front still did not work. Two weeks ago the dishwasher stopped completely. Again, they came out and charged over hundred dollars to say that the whole electrical system was bad. Estimate to repair was close to one thousand dollars. They recommend just get a new machine. However, when we asked for a little discount on the installation, the manager was very rude and aggressive. read more

My Alfresco built in grill (costs over $3,000 new) was not heating properly. The Speedy Appliance serviceman said we needed to replace the burners. A day or two later Speedy called with an estimate of over $800 to replace the two burners consisting of about $600 in parts and about $200 in labor. I went online and purchased the two burners for $57 each from Amazon and spent about 5 minutes installing them and I knew nothing about the workings of the grill. So for $114 and 5 minutes of my time, I was able to do what Speedy wanted over $800 for. I can only guess they try charge ridiculously high prices to people with expensive grills assuming they will accept anything they are told. read more

If you ever need appliances services - Do Not call Speedy Appliance Service. The Speedy Appliance Service serviceman Sal was trying to rip us off. He was telling us that the refrigerator needed Freon and a special valve to install it. He didn't know the price and needs to go back to the office to order one, which he has to come back to re-service another call. We were unhappy that he didn't have the parts and couldn't fix right away, and charged us $92.44 for the service called. We feel that Speedy Appliance Service Company has a misleading advertisement saying that "they carrying 99% parts and fix it on the same day". Later we called the official Whirlpool service representative and the technician came over to look at it and told us that there's nothing wrong, the evaporator was frozen over and the refrigerator sensor are good. Just need to defrost the refrigerator coil for a couple of days. The reason refrigerator was not making ice because of the same issue. There's nothing wrong with the refrigerator. What a relief. So the outcome is that the Speedy Appliance serviceman Sal, misdiagnose the problem, and trying to charge us for additional services and parts that we didn't need. Called the office representative, which was unhelpful and uncooperative with this matter. Supposedly, she said on the phone that the service charge is including on the repair cost, but when we called her back again; she said differently that the service call charge is separate from the repair cost. Therefore we feel that this company is ripping off a lot of customers with bogus service charges, and needs to be investigated by Better Business and Consumer Affairs and this company should be close up completely. read more

Use them at your own risk. $100 dollar service fee, then will say they will order the part, but it's nonsense to milk you off more money. Even though you know they have a part for the most common washer, the guy said he didn't have the part after walking to his truck and back in barely a few minutes. They call later with a way to milk you more $$ by telling you the part cost, shipping, taxes and all. I had already checked online and knew the part would cost $40, but they charged $180 for parts and labor, including the fee of $100. Basically a few more grands and you have a whole new washer. In my mind, can't be trusted. Honesty is hard to find the the appliance business and Speedy Appliances are not honest at all! read more

Our 1993 GE Monogram built in refrigerator stopped working. We were afraid we would have to spend over 8k to replace it. Decided to call Speedy to take a look. Fabian showed up at the scheduled time.
