I went to Lowes to purchase a water filter that I wanted and got forwarded to Always Pure. They were supposed to call me back in 2 days and didn't so I decided to call them. Always pure told me that they will not be using the system I wanted at all and will be using their own and tried to change me 7x the cost of the Lowes system. I told them no thanks. Over the past several years, we have used Always Pure Water Systems for a variety of services related to our well water system, flooding issues in our basement and adding a drinking water filter system and water well filter system to save our appliances from well water issues. Excellent company!!! Michael and the office staff were very timely in coming to our aid when we needed to replace our filter cartridge, and also repair our cracked, main water line. We were promptly taken care of and the water was back on in less then 24 hours. This company, definitely went the extra mile!!! Called for an appointment to have water tested, informed Michael would call back. Next day, still no Michael - I call again. Michael calls back later to schedule appointment almost a week away however, an hour before they were to show for this 'confirmed' appointment (had responded to an email asking for confirmation - which I did), I get a cancellation vm. This call was the third vm message from them that morning. The appointment was to be between 1 and 2 - did shopping in the am while watching the clock. Get home, between 12:30 and 1pm - three messages - first - they were done early (around 10am) and were heading up my way. Next call, they'll be there in 20 minutes. Third call, they're at my door and there's no answer so they left. Michael calls between 2-3 asking if I want to reschedule. Not professional - moved on... read more

What a disappointment I was in need of a whole house water filter and called Always Pure for an estimate. That was three months ago. After waiting for several weeks, I called again. No one called me back. Without going into great detail, I called Penny and Steve a total of five times and nothing ever happened. Reading some of these reviews made me double check whether I was leaving my review for the right company. Our experience with Michael at Always Pure has been consistently excellent. He really knows what he's doing (chemically and mechanically), and he's extremely responsive. Long story short, several years ago Michael made some recommendations for our in-house system, but we ended up going with his "plan B." Sure enough, we weren't totally satisfied with the result. When we had finally had enough, we gave Michael a call again. He was at our place within days, ran some tests, and recommended a solution. Then he went out of his way to do the upgrade as cost effectively and quickly as possible. It's still early, but so far the new system seems to be addressing our concerns flawlessly. Bottom line: I rarely write reviews on Yelp or elsewhere, but I've been so genuinely impressed with Michael and the business he runs that I felt compelled to speak up. read more

Always Pure was late providing results to a water test. They claimed that the results did not come back through their server. This was for a real estate transaction and was very time sensitive. We will not use them for water testing again. read more

The service at Always Pure is horrible. We spent close to $10,000 on a water filtration system and then they disappear. I have been there several times in the last 18 months asking for help, and I get nothing. Not even a call from Steve. Do not use him, I am now looking for someone else to help me with the problems I have with my water system. read more

This place has a new owner but still, it took over 24 hours for a "technician" to call us back. By then we had found a more professional business to deal with. Historically, Always Pure will be glad to install water systems and take your thousands of dollars, and then they act pissed when you call them when something goes wrong, and eventually flat out refuse to work on the system they put in. The new owner should change the name because of the bad reputation. Go elsewhere but steer clear of M & M Water in Sandy since Mike treats his clients the same way. Very dishonest. read more

When we inquired about a new well filter, the owner came out to give a price quote. He asked me and my husband how many people we had living in the house. "I said that we have 5 kids." He said, "lady, you need to learn to SLEEP in a different position!" I couldn't believe what I heard. So needless to say he did not get our business and was lucky to leave the property with his front teeth. read more
