They carefully explained what was wrong, what needed to be done, and how they could make the system safer for our family. They even recommended moving the water heater to a better, more secure location and took care of everything with attention to detail. They strapped it, sealed everything properly, and left the area spotless. The installation looked better than anything we'd ever had before. When they were done, they didn't just pack up and leave -- they stayed to test the system, make sure everything worked perfectly, and explain how to maintain it. It wasn't just a service call; it was an experience that restored our trust in professionals. They recently did the plumbing work for our new bathroom, replaced our sanitary sewer line and repaved our driveway - all in the span of about a week and a half while juggling numerous other jobs. In particular, my family and I were in a sewer emergency, and B&G came right out, we discussed options, decided on a course of action and they were literally digging the trench for the new sewer 10 minutes later. With a crew of a dozen people working on it the remainder of the day, we had a functioning sewer that night. The price was also super reasonable, to the point where I didn't even bother with other bids. One thing I really like about B&G is the teaching and mentorship that is constantly going on between Bobo, the owner, his senior crew leads and the junior staff. Yesterday we had B&G out for a small job and I asked the two guys how they like working for Bobo and one of them didn't even hesitate: "Best boss ever, and it's not even close". Personally I really like supporting businesses that support young people developing skills that they can put to work supporting themselves and their families. Clearly for Bobo, it isn't just about making money or delivering a good product. It's about giving something back, too. Simply put, I can not recommend B&G highly enough.

I called all over town. No one had a furnace and I was being told I would have to wait from Oct -- Jan to hopefully get a furnace install. Four months with no heat?!? The Efficiency receptionist was empathic, listened, and commiserated with me on my furnace woes. Then she got to work, moving schedules around to get me a quick estimate, and 2 weeks later, we have heat!!! One of the nicest touches about this place, they text you to remind you of your service. Then they text you an introduction to who will be coming to your home, including the technician's picture and a little bit about them. And a GPS tracker to chart their little truck's progress to your house. Super classy, and it put me at ease. Everyone was on time, super personable. When the install ran a little long with retrofitting electrical, it was of no concern to the crew. They kept working and stayed at it 12 hours until the job was done. Then the tech took the time to show us what he did, test everything, and even stuck around to ask us if we had any questions. No doubt about it, Efficiency has customer service DIALED IN. This is not good news for people who depend on well water like we do. Before 8 a.m. I called Steve's Pump Service; we'd had them out here years and years ago. We knew our well pump was bad; it was original with the house, which was built in 1966 and I knew it could go any time. Actually, I figured we were overdue. Steve told me he'd have someone out by 11 a.m., and he was true to his word. Jason, his son, arrived promptly and went right to work. He discovered a couple of different problems with it, but got the pump running again. The problem was that we had no idea how long the pump would last since it was so old. It could be years, it could be a day. In the end, we decided to replace it. Another huge expense we weren't planning on! It took several hours, but ultimately we got the new pump put in. It was a fascinating process to watch. These guys really earn their money, let me tell you! Jason was on the ground, then hopping up onto the truck, then down again, wrapping pipe to pull it all up, wrapping pipe to put it all down again. I was really glad it was a cool day, and not raining. Talk about hard, dirty, exhausting work!. This is no sitting behind a desk job. Jason has been helping his Dad since he was a boy, and knew what he was doing. Through it all, he and his partner were friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. Jason, from Simply Shocking Electric (see my review here: http://www.yelp.com/biz/simply-shocking-canby#hrid:WkWeWUgDXGGV_hc5_0secg/src:self) to give them a hand, too. He did some wiring that needed to be done, and I was glad he was here too. All three guys worked really well together. By the end of the afternoon we had our new pump in. Jason told me that the one we had was built to last, one of the best ones ever made, with an unusual life expectancy of 45-50 years. So we were due for a new one, since this one was original to the house. I can't say enough good things about Steve's Pump Service. They made sure we didn't have to stay without water, installed the new pump quickly and efficiently (even though we weren't on their schedule for the day), and cleaned up after themselves. If I could give them ten stars, I would. I highly recommend them.
