They are truly service-oriented from the moment you reach out to them, and it starts with Dan. He's friendly, responsive and provides detailed estimates immediately for whatever work is needed. We have a 5-zone sprinkler system with a combination of drip lines and sprinklers in the front and backyard. It's a funky arrangement that needed a serious upgrade. His crew (Marvin and Jose) are miracle workers! They are real problem solvers who managed to reroute some existing sprinkler lines, fix several hidden leaks and provide more water coverage in several zones. Marvin and Jose are a joy to watch. They really enjoy their work and it shows. Marvin will even sing while he's putting in new drip lines or tying off others, and nothing seems to faze him. Both men are polite, courteous and appreciative of drinks and snacks while they work. They say "Thank you, so much" every time. After spending the entire day at our home, we tested the system and everything worked well, but there were a few dry spots I noticed the next day. Dan came by today to collect payment and I showed him the areas where water wasn't quite reaching and he said, "No problem." Marvin and Jose will come back to make a few adjustments -- at no extra charge. Best of all, the new parts they install are guaranteed for 5 years instead of one. Who does that? All in all, this was a terrific experience and I wish I had hired this company 13 years ago when we landscaped our yard. I'm so impressed with them and you will be, too.

When we were able to look at it more closely, it was obvious as you can see in the photos! Ended up reconnecting it myself.

Live and learn. Oh how I wish I had checked Yelp before calling Al. We discovered the sprinklers…read morewere not working at our home in Portland and things were dying. We were only in town a few days and panicked. A quick google search gave me Al's business. Unfortunately In my panic I only read Al's website reviews, and failed to do my usual research. Al quickly returned my call and said he could come in the afternoon. He was very up front with me about his fees, including his service call, hourly rate and gas fee. Al showed up as promised and began to talk. And talk. And talk. He walked through the front and back yards, assessed the problems and advised his solution. My gripe with Al is that he spent so much time talking to us, on his phone, to an advice seeking neighbor all on our dollar. He has a long story for everything and tells his tale in a full upright position, in other words he's not multi tasking by working and talking at the same time. Upon completion of his repairs and a short time in his truck tallying our bill we were shocked that his 3 hours of labor, parts, service and gas fees totaled over $940 dollars. Two heads were replaced, the ancient controller was programmed and a lot of time was spent selling us on 1) the fact that our system doesn't have a back flow and that it would be $3200 dollars to install one and 2) When the time comes to replace the controller he will only install an indoor model and it will have to be located in the garage. I'm betting the labor involved with relocating the controller and what he will charge us for the controller itself could easily pay for Al's next trip to Disneyland with the grandkids. Yes, Al saved our yards and we were so happy to see a working sprinkler system, but I do seriously question his ethics and his repeated boast that "I'm the only guy who knows how to work on these old things".

I called because he was local and nearby to my house, you know, support local business. WOW, what a mistake. Mr Sievers is a "nice" guy, was very friendly with my wife and myself. He found what was wrong with my system, but it took him all day! He then left with everything opened up and didn't fix a thing. He then sat in his truck for 1 hour to "write up the bill" whch when presented was $1712!! He said to finish the job, he would have to come back next week and the bill would be (get this) $14,500. I immediately declined. Now, I'm going to have to find someone else to finish the job. Just to restate clearly, this guy is a predator, and a snake in the grass. I see that the Oregon Attorney General investigated him 10 years ago and why he is still operating is beyond me. I felt violated and that my checkbook was raped after he left. This guy is out of his mind and is a predator to home owners. I hope this review prevents even one more person from becoming a victim like me.
