We ordered Laarb, Pumpkin Curry, Tom Ka, Satay, Chicken Wings, Pad Thai, and the papaya salad platter. My only note to the staff is to perhaps include a photo of the papaya salad platter. We thought it would just be a larger portion of the salad, but it had a smattering of different things. All great! Just not what we expected. Maybe that's standard for Thai fare and we just didn't know it? Service: the issues spoken of with being rushed were completely absent for this trip. We actually accidentally overstayed our welcome past closing! I didn't expect them to close at 8:15 on Saturday, but that is a-okay with me. They were so kind as to give me a free Mango Sticky Rice for my birthday! This will have to become a tradition.

A Solid Find for Thai in the Valley. Pleasantly surprised by…read morethis place. For a strip mall spot, the ambiance is nicer than you'd expect, the prices are fair, and most importantly, the food delivers. We started with the Satay Chicken, which comes as a generous four-skewer portion with an excellent peanut sauce. My one note: the chicken itself was a bit over-fried for my taste, but the sauce made up for it. The Pad Thai was well-balanced and flavorful, exactly what you want from a Thai staple. First visit, but definitely not the last. Worth a stop if you're in the Draper area.

My son finally found time to grant my Mother's Day wish!…read more A dinner date for fresh oysters. Lately, that's all I've been craving, and thankfully he loves them as much as I do. I know that's a controversial opinion, and my husband definitely doesn't share our enthusiasm, but we're firmly on Team Oyster. We chose Market Street in South Jordan. For those who haven't heard, the downtown location will be closing on June 30, 3026. It seems people feel the same way about Market Street as they do about oysters--they either love it or hate it. I fall solidly in the "love it" camp. The atmosphere, the fresh oysters, and the clam chowder are just a few of my favorite things. As usual, the oysters were incredible. The only downside was the fresh grated horseradish had absolutely no flavor. We also had the calamari and crabcakes today and both were excellent choices. It was the perfect way to spend some one-on-one time with my son and finally celebrate Mother's Day. I'm so glad we were able to make it happen. Now the important question: Who's with me on the oysters? ‍ Love them or ? #OysterLovers #MothersDayCelebration #MarketStreetGrillSouthJordan #MomAndSonTime #UtahFoodie #FreshOysters

I was someone else's guest, so I didn't want to complain.. but wow. Not good. And that's unusual for me at Market Street. The calamari app was great, the coconut shrimp small shrimp but tasty, my daughter's fish and chips looked perfect and also the trout was cooked to perfection. Kids enjoyed their food as well.

It's basically a fried shrimp sushi roll without the seaweed, and it's something I genuinely crave a couple times a week. My other go-to is the Hot Girl Summer roll. It has just the right amount of spice for this Louisiana girl. I always order it with extra eel sauce because honestly, I could drink that stuff. My friends ordered the Cowboy roll and the Elephant roll, and they said both were amazing and perfectly crispy. My partner always tries a new roll, but he only eats cooked or fried sushi. This is the one place he always chooses because the rolls are fried to perfection without being greasy or heavy. The service is good, and the atmosphere is always so cozy. We love this hidden gem and truly hope they get all the business they deserve.

The waitress tried to refuse to seat us. We told her we called in and she spent the rest of our service pitching an absolute fit. Would not respond beyond grunting at us, all but flung our food at us, wouldn't smile or engage us at all. Spent some time actually throwing things as she cleaned a table near us. It was spectacular and awful. The rest of our experience belies the temper tantrum this girl was throwing, though. All of the food was made both quickly and accurately. It was all very good. The restaurant is super clean and everyone else that worked there was very nice. I would go back, just hope for a different waitress.

We overall had a great experience and I highly recommend giving them a try if you're in the area! I had the Sego Bungkus as my entree and we shared the martabak telor as an appetizer. I will note that they brought out the food as it came, not in appetizer to entree order The sego bungkus was a sampler platter of several different entrees and I really enjoyed it! The rendang was a clear stand out to me, always been one of my favorite dishes so not a big surprise. The curry chicken was also very tasty and the sauce that came with the greens had a really nice flavor The martabak telor is a meat and eggs stuffed scallion pancake that packs quite a flavor punch! I had a hard time identifying the seasonings they used but it felt more south Asian than anything else we tried Overall i thought this was a great spot and hope I have the chance to come back in the future!
