Stumbled across this coffee shop. It's super cute, coffee was tasty, and I loved the theme. Service was just okay. Would come back again.

Such a cute coffee shop! I love supporting small businesses. This one is so cute. Has such a great vibe and the ladies were super sweet and nice. The coffee was amazing. I can't wait to go back to try the empanadas

Absolutely loved this Christian coffee house The vibe was wonderful from start to finish. The inside was so lovely--pink details, bows, and beautiful Bible verses everywhere. Such a peaceful, faith-filled atmosphere. The coffee was beyond great, and the food was just as amazing. This is such a nice, welcoming space for women to come, relax, and fellowship together. Truly a gem and definitely a place I'll be coming back to

Cute coffee truck up potranco road. It is in a food truck park area. Had to keep an eye out for it. I went specifically for the coffee in a pouche! Was excited to see them offer this during the 4th of July week. I ordered an iced vanilla latte. They do offer other flavored coffees. We also ordered the strawberry lemonade which was so good and refreshing. Cute business and friendly workers.

Absolutely delicious!…read more I've been to EDA once before and have been craving their empanadas ever since! Much like last time, there seemed to be only one person running the shop, the place was sparkling clean (including the restrooms), and there was ample seating in the dining area. The music was a little too loud, especially so in the bathroom, but otherwise the café was so nice. The menu is chock-full of delicious sounding dishes and boba drinks, but I opted for two of their ready to go empanadas. I had the Beef & Cheese, and the Chicken Salteña Empanadas. Both were super yummy and neither the beef nor chicken was dry inside. The fillings were savory, the Beef & Cheese amazingly creamy, and the Chicken Salteña a good blend of spices. The raisins in the Salteña did throw me off for a moment as I didn't think they worked all too well with the rest of the texture of the filling, but it didn't detract too much from the empanada. The dipping sauce that they came with was so tasty and flavorful as well! I was only able to finish half of each empanada because they were so big, but the server was kind enough to give me extra sauce with my to-go box. It added another layer of tastiness to the experience! EDA is a little out of the way for me so I'm not able to go as much as I'd like, but I know I'll be stopping in to snag an empanada or a boba tea when I'm in the area. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try!

There are so many empanada choices here. I neglected to take a copy or photo of the menu. I don't think there's a bad empanada on the menu. The owners are super sweet and so engaging. I loved visiting with them both. They hooked me up with a to go bag and boxes so that when I cooked them from frozen, I was able to transfer them to a box and bag and take them to the Cancer center. Everyone raved about them. They loved them and said they were the most delicious empanadas they had ever had. They are super big in size and tasty fillings. If you're in the area, give them a go. Of course, I also had to purchase an empanada for myself as well as a dessert empanada and when I got home, I split them both with the hubs and we were both very happy and content. I will definitely return.

We went with the shredded brisket plate that came with beans, cheese, arespa and plantain. We had the crispy pork belly plate that came with the same sides. While both meats were good, we felt like there was way too much cheese on the plate. The beans were a tad salty. The place itself has a very casual atmosphere. You go to the counter, place your order and then pick it up once your order is called. I'd like to go back and try their empanadas and their pastelitos. I'll skip the plate special next time.

We were able to find seats thankfully before the crowd came in. They have the menus in the front of the room and you can put your order in there. The lady there was very nice and helped us to understand the menu. We ordered Tequeños, which is a big cheese stick. I thought they were very delicious. The cheese stretched far when I pulled it apart and the crust was very soft and thankfully not overcooked. It was a bit expensive but did give us 5 pieces. The sauce it came with was also very delicious and took some extra home for later. We also ordered fries on the side that were decent as well. I had ordered a San Antonio Arepas. It had grill chicken, avocado, Chipotle mayo and jalapeños. Overall it was alright but not really my favorite. The chicken tasted alright but felt like it was missing something. I liked the empanadas better with the shredded brisket but I also thought was missing something. I also ordered a drink called chichas which was a creamy milk drink with condensed milk and cinnamon. It was actually pretty good and not overly sweet. Similar to a milkshake but no ice cream. Overall the food was decent and I would consider coming back but to try something else. For sure come back for those Tequeños.

The Royal Pasty serves up baked empanadas, not fried. The empanadas are large and stuffed with a variety of different fillings. There's a long list of about ten different empanada filling options. They even have combo boxes in multiples of threes where you can save by mixing and matching empanadas! My favorite was the beef ones, the crust was flaky and soft. They have a professional empanada press where they imprint the empanada filling type on the crust with a two-letter code so you know what you're about to get into. The sauces were delicious! They offer a type of chimichurri sauce that's incredible, and a spicy version that's not too spicy at all. The empanada flavors were more imaginative than the empanada stands you typically see- a pulled pork option, bacon and eggs for a breakfast empanada, beef and cheese- there's much more than the typical ham and cheese and beef. The best option- triple cheese! Nom. This ghost kitchen is only for pickup. No dining in. You have to show up with a cell phone to let a computer know who you are, and once you scan your notification, a locker door pops open, and you retrieve your food.

I saw this restaurant across the street while stopped at a red light on the way home from my doctor…read moreappointment. It is the #2 location on Culebra Road. My son and I both like Colombian food based on visits to a competitor that we have gone to many times closer to our house. When I mentioned this place to him, he said we should try it out soon. Today was the day. The first thing I noticed was the size of the dining room. It was roomy with several tables that were appropriately spread out. The decor is attractive with eye catching art painted on the white walls. The tables all have a splash of color on them, as well. Altogether is creates a bright and cheery atmosphere. We were very comfortable. I also noticed that the one television on the far wall was showing Univision and the music being played was in Spanish. I really like the music of a restaurant to reflect the nationality of the cuisine. Our server was an extremely helpful young man. He helped us with the menu. Unlike what is stated in other reviews, the food is described in english. Unfortunately, there are some items that don't translate. Those are the ones I needed help with. We both ended up ordering the same thing. It was lengua in a delicious tomato sauce served with french fries, avocado slices, white rice, salad, and a fried plantain patty. The amount of food on the plates was absolutely outrageous, but we managed to get pretty danged close to clean plates. The flavors were really nice. There was a huge squeeze bottle of Salsa Colombiana (I think that's what he called it) and another with Salsa tartara, the Columbian version of tartar sauce. It was amazing. It was creamy and savory without that sweet pickle taste American folk put on seafood. For drinks, I had a jugo de pina. My son had one made with passion fruit. I heard them being made fresh in the kitchen. They blended the fresh fruit with some water or milk and ice. Mine was really refreshing. It was served in those giant iced tea glasses some places use. There was a lady and her son at another table. I listened as they ordered in Spanish. They asked almost the same questions as we did, so being fluent in Spanish must not mean you would understand the Colombia specific food vocabulary. As we were paying our bill, the lady was pointing to everything on her plate asking "What is this?" in Spanish. I found that a little humorous, as the explanations when ordering were pretty good. My son and I had not problems recognizing the foods on our plate based on what we had heard. On our way home, we passed by the Bandera location. My son pointed it out to me. I don't remember ever seeing it there, but my son says he knew about it. That made me wonder why we frequented the competitor on Tezel where we like the food, but felt uncomfortable being packed in so close in the tiny dining room. In the truck, my son was already telling me what he planned to eat next time. There will definitely be a next time. I need to try their arepas and empanadas, as well as some other jugos.
