But we both have day jobs and didn't have enough free time on our hands to get our hone gussied up. Enter Cascade Maids. From the moment I first contacted Cascade Maids, the experience was nothing short of exemplary. They integrate with Google quite well and I was able to chat with someone through GMail to explain our needs. After finding their pricing and services quite affordable, I spoke to their agent over the phone to provide our payment information. Then on the day of our booking their cleaner arrived and went to town! Luckily I was able to work from home that day so I could go about my business while the cleaner went about theirs. After about three hours or so they were done and the results were quite impressive for the amount we were charged. I got the standard service as opposed to the deep clean this time around since we didn't really need every room in the house cleaned. But next time we probably will do the deep cleaning to get that open house look. (With the deep cleaning comes an extra guaranty that if you're not satisfied they come to clean your house again for free.) Huge shout outs to Taylor, their agent, for the initial contact, all questions answered, and the post-service follow-up...and also mad props to Isamar, their cleaner, who took our house and made it ready for entertaining during the holidays. So far so great! Then the appointment time came and went, so after 20 minutes I called and left a voicemail. After another 20 minutes, I texted. Finally she texted back, apologizing and asking if her husband can come 1.5 hrs after our original appointment. I'm not comfortable with that at all, and I politely declined. I also very politely added that it's a nice courtesy to notify clients when they are going to be late.15 minutes later, she respectfully apologized, explaining that they were "behind schedule all day". I think trust is paramount when hiring someone for something so personal, and therefore I wouldn't recommend this company. But communication, when it was there, was very nice. I'm sure they were just having a bad day, but I'm really disappointed. :(

They were reliable and dependable. I had no reservations about them being in my home while I was not there. My frustrations came from a recurring pattern of missing details. For example: they left the door to my cat's litter box closed & he had an accident as a result. Several times surfaces like the mirrors & glass cooktop were streaky. They "organize" while they clean, but this often resulted in things being put in different places that were not logical to where they started. Dust on the bathroom light fixtures and top of the toilet tanks were never wiped down. I could potentially overlook these details but not for the cost. A team of two would be at my house for less than 90 minutes for a cost of $180. I would recommend them if you're not as concerned with these kinds of details.
