I spoke with five different surgeons in the Bay Area and she really stood out for her professionalism. More so than any other surgeon, my consult with her felt like a medical appointment as opposed to a sales pitch. She went into my medical history and went to great lengths to understand the results I wanted to achieve, especially as a smaller person trying not to go too big. She was honest, patient, and highly informed and willing to go into great detail about the procedure, which I really appreciated. Jolie (the practice manager) was also fantastic for laying out all of the details of the surgery and making sure it went smoothly. I trusted her enough to try a new implant (Motiva) that she hadn't worked with previously and do not regret my decision at all. The surgery itself went very smoothly and I had a surprisingly quick recovery (2 days of bedrest for 215-230cc implants under the muscle). Dr. Weintraub and Jolie were very responsive with the questions I had about aftercare. Three months post-surgery, I'm incredibly happy with the results and keep getting great feedback about how natural they look and feel! 10/10 would recommend this practice and working with Dr. Weintraub especially. Note: A lot of plastic surgeons will go to great lengths to market themselves, taking out advertisements and promoting their business so it's at the top of search results. I heard about Dr. Weintraub from a friend-of-a-friend and was way more impressed with her than all of the top-billed surgeons I consulted with. She doesn't advertise as much, but honestly she doesn't need to.

I complained and was told it was due to the weight of my implants and my asthma!!! It was not!!! I went into cardiac arrest and suffered a pulmonary embolism and almost died!!! I am lucky to be alive and am so incredibly stupid for not suing both of them!!! I was too sweet and too scared of dying and could only think about trying to live, as a single mother, and felt so guilty for having an elective vain surgery, while recovering from my almost life ending traumatic experiences, which took almost a year to recover from!!!! Neither of them could've cared less!!!! They lied from the get go, they tried to cover up the fact that my lungs collapsed, and then they were less than concerned when I complained of trouble breathing just 72 hours after surgery!!!! DO NOT trust your life to this practice!!! You will regret it and you could very well DIE!!!! I am so incredibly grateful and lucky to be alive! 1 in 3 people survive what I have been through, not to mention the trauma of it all and the work isn't even that great. So my first experience was pretty good. I had a consultation with Nicolle who seemed to have…read moreconfidence in laser leg vein treatment. She required that I prepay for my treatment, then canceled my appointment just a few days ahead of time, without explanation. Friday, I went in and was given another nurse with no notice or explanation. I had this procedure done a long time ago and the nurse dimmed the lights, calibrated her laser to just what was required. It didn't hurt and I left with no blisters, holes, scabs or scars. Today, was opposite in nearly every way. It was very painful and I originally had many blisters. The technician said she used the manufacturer recommendations for settings but had to adjust the machine 4 times during my procedure because she said the settings were changing without her input. I did speak to Dr Lowen who assured me that my experience was perfectly normal and there was nothing wrong. My blisters had all popped shortly after my procedure and the first few showers were painful but now that I am covered in 60 plus scabs it's not so bad. I can't shave because of all of the scabs but that's not so bad since it's winter. Moral of the story, this laser will get rid of your veins but it's so powerful it will burn tiny holes into your body every time they pull the trigger.

One tiny drawback, it's a pity you have to fill everything out with pen and paper. I do prefer digital medical offices, but really, that is not much of a drawback when you consider all the amazing upsides to the place. I am so happy I found PA Dermatology Institute and Dr. Morganroth. If I ever need help with my skin, I know exactly where to go.

Recovery has been far more difficult than anticipated (one month out and still significant streaking and redness), and I ultimately sought two outside opinions and continued care with another doctor. After looking into his background, it made complete sense. Stanford, Cornell, advanced facial plastic surgery training, double board certified, and fully specialized in the face. I chose to move forward with Dr. Lieberman at L&P Aesthetics, and the experience felt incredibly personalized. I had direct access to him throughout the process, and he personally checked on me during recovery, which meant a lot. He actually called me himself multiple times to talk through the ptosis repair because I wasn't sure if I wanted to include it. He was very honest that I likely wouldn't be happy with my results doing just an upper bleph alone, and took the time to walk me through it until I felt completely confident in my decision.
