It progressively got worse, and I found myself relying on Botox and under eye filler just to manage it. At a certain point, I knew I didn't want temporary fixes anymore. I wanted to address the root of it. During that time, I asked everyone I knew in the Bay Area for recommendations, and I kept hearing the same name... Dr. Lieberman. After looking into his background, it made complete sense. Stanford, Cornell, advanced facial plastic surgery training, double board certified, and fully specialized in the face. I chose to move forward with Dr. Lieberman at L&P Aesthetics, and the experience felt incredibly personalized. I had direct access to him throughout the process, and he personally checked on me during recovery, which meant a lot. He actually called me himself multiple times to talk through the ptosis repair because I wasn't sure if I wanted to include it. He was very honest that I likely wouldn't be happy with my results doing just an upper bleph alone, and took the time to walk me through it until I felt completely confident in my decision. That level of care, especially from someone with such a busy practice, really stood out to me. I ended up having: * Upper blepharoplasty (upper bleph) * Lower blepharoplasty (lower bleph) * Ptosis eyelid repair * Fat grafting under eyes, temples, and smile lines * Perfractional laser resurfacing From a results standpoint, this wasn't just cosmetic for me. My vision is clearer, everything feels brighter and more open, and that constant heaviness in my forehead and eyelids is gone. I also had one eyebrow that sat noticeably lower than the other my entire life, something I never loved but never planned to fix, and now they're finally even, which has made such a difference. As I had been aging I had lost SO much volume in my face and the fat grafting really helped a tremendous amount to bring softness back into my face. But what really stood out to me was how thorough Dr. Lieberman and his team were throughout the entire process. They didn't just focus on the outcome, they walked me through the full healing journey in detail, set realistic expectations, and made sure I understood every possible scenario. I never felt surprised by anything during recovery. I will say, healing does require patience. Especially with ptosis repair, where your eyelid muscles are relearning how to function. There were moments of dryness, swelling, and days where I just didn't feel 100%, more tedious than anything. But I do believe Dr. Lieberman's technique is incredibly advanced, and that played a big role in how manageable the recovery felt overall. If you're researching upper blepharoplasty, lower blepharoplasty, or ptosis repair, just know it's more than before and after photos. The experience, the surgeon, and the guidance you receive matter just as much. For me, it was completely worth it

I spoke with five different surgeons in the Bay Area and she really stood out for her professionalism. More so than any other surgeon, my consult with her felt like a medical appointment as opposed to a sales pitch. She went into my medical history and went to great lengths to understand the results I wanted to achieve, especially as a smaller person trying not to go too big. She was honest, patient, and highly informed and willing to go into great detail about the procedure, which I really appreciated. Jolie (the practice manager) was also fantastic for laying out all of the details of the surgery and making sure it went smoothly. I trusted her enough to try a new implant (Motiva) that she hadn't worked with previously and do not regret my decision at all. The surgery itself went very smoothly and I had a surprisingly quick recovery (2 days of bedrest for 215-230cc implants under the muscle). Dr. Weintraub and Jolie were very responsive with the questions I had about aftercare. Three months post-surgery, I'm incredibly happy with the results and keep getting great feedback about how natural they look and feel! 10/10 would recommend this practice and working with Dr. Weintraub especially. Note: A lot of plastic surgeons will go to great lengths to market themselves, taking out advertisements and promoting their business so it's at the top of search results. I heard about Dr. Weintraub from a friend-of-a-friend and was way more impressed with her than all of the top-billed surgeons I consulted with. She doesn't advertise as much, but honestly she doesn't need to.

The reasons why I choose him: 1) He's absolutely honesty. He was 100% honest about my options, my size, and his recommendations. And he always gave explanations of why he suggested or said these things. He listed out my pros and cons. And he always provided his honest feedback or his personal experience. Compared to other MDs that I went to see, I felt like other doctors tried to push me into getting it done with them. While my experience with Dr. Hoffman, I never felt pressured or pushed into signing up with him. Dr. Hoffman actually did two consults with me because I felt unsure. And their staff was so sweet to let me do an extra fitting because I started having doubts. He and his staff are so approachable and supportive. He was willing to advise me and do extra follow up visits when I had a few issues that came up. 2) His staff is amazing. From the front desk, to the consultation, the financing part, his nurses, and even at the recovery. ALL SIMPLY AMAZING! 3) Process was easy. You do your consult, finalize your choices/options, figure out your payment, schedule, and get it done! Finally, I have recommended at least 3 others to him and they were all happy with their results. They all looking amazing and had nothing, but positive things to say about him. Even though I was nervous, he and his amazing anesthesiologist were always confident and have had several years of surgery experience. My recovery was strong- no pain or nausea, a couple of days of minor bleeding, managed with just mild medication. I also managed to sleep. And Dr. Mehta's post - op support has been incredible. The idea is that you get procedures for cheaper from a trainee, while overseen by a full doctor. They hold surgeries on Tuesday afternoons and Wednesday mornings and cover injectables and operations. Botox is $10 a unit, fillers are $370 per syringe. Prices for surgeries vary, but liposuction of the abdomen would be $1250, plus the OR and anaesthetist fee, so totalling around $3-$4000. I had…read morelived with complicated case of a fractured nose requiring a septoplasty and turbinate reduction-- I couldn't breathe through it for the majority of my life. I was nervous as I had never gone under for a major surgery like this, but Dr. Most and his staff were very personable and made me comfortable the entire time. In terms of results, I couldn't have asked for anything better. My nose looks even better than it did pre-op, it's actually symmetrical! Not only that, the quality of my sleep improved from 70% to 93% according to my sleep tracker. I can breathe so easy now. I had ended up getting a rib graft; pre-op Dr. Most had informed me before as a precaution and reassured me it was the best course of action. I had experienced no bruising on my face and swelling was noticeable but not egregious. The rib recovery wasn't as bad as I thought, very tender and minimal range in the early days but I was able to stop using the pain medication fairly quickly. It can take awhile from pre-op visits to the actual surgery date considering how in demand he is. Once you've established yourself as his patient, definitely use the myHealth app as suggested by his staff. It is much easier to communicate that way instead of phone. All in all, I would highly recommend Dr. Most to everyone. A huge thank you to him and his staff.

We were referred to Dr. Most for a complicated functional revision case. Before scheduling, I…read moreexplained that we live in San Diego and asked whether the consultation could be done virtually. I was told that I needed to be evaluated in person. I also explained that I already had a CT scan and an assessment from another revision surgeon that I wanted reviewed, but was told the imaging would not be reviewed beforehand. I was reassured that patients travel from all over to see Dr. Most, so I believed making the trip would be worthwhile. We spent a significant amount of time, money, and energy traveling to San Francisco and also paid several hundred dollars for the consultation. Unfortunately, I left feeling extremely disappointed. In my experience, the examination felt very brief. Dr. Most examined my nose in person, but I did not feel that my functional concerns or existing imaging were meaningfully evaluated. I repeatedly explained the severity of my breathing problems and offered to provide my CT scan, but he did not appear interested in reviewing it because his own examination did not reveal a significant problem that he believed he could address. What made this particularly confusing was that before this appointment, another highly experienced revision surgeon, Dr. Robotti, had reviewed my CT and given me a detailed assessment. He wrote that the imaging demonstrated an external nasal valve issue, predominantly on the left, along with septal deviation, enlarged turbinates, and recurvature of the lower lateral cartilage obstructing the nasal valve, particularly on the left. He characterized what I was seeking as primarily functional rather than cosmetic. I understand and respect that different surgeons can reach different conclusions and that a surgeon has every right to decide that a patient or procedure is not a good fit. My disappointment is with the consultation experience itself. After explaining beforehand that I had significant functional symptoms, existing imaging, and another specialist's assessment--and then being told I needed to travel to San Francisco for an in-person evaluation--I expected those materials and concerns to receive a more thorough evaluation before being told there was essentially nothing he wanted to address. I wish I had understood beforehand that the CT and prior assessment were unlikely to play a meaningful role in the consultation. Had I known that, I could have made a more informed decision about whether it made sense to spend the time and money traveling from San Diego for the appointment.

Dr. Hessler is a true artist, with a natural eye for aesthetics. She did a brow lift for me with a beveled cut so that my hair line would not be raised, and today a year later, my scar is imperceptible. (It was actually never EVER noticeable throughout the recovery as well. But now hair has grown through the cut line, which is genius!) She has a careful hand, and really truly cares about her work - she took such care with the incisions, too, it really was surgical art. Before I met Dr. Hessler, I had been shopping around for a surgeon for my brow lift for a few months, and the other visits left me nervous about looking too surprised, big scars, or doing the procedure in a different way that would lift my entire hairline (which I already was concerned about). When I met with Jill- the contrast between her and the other doctors was powerful- I was IMMEDIATELY convinced she was the most up-to-date, careful, thoughtful, and skilled choice (not to mention, sweetest!) and had the really important goal of making a change without making an obvious "done" appearance. I cannot thank her enough for the brow lift, and I would strongly recommend her for this procedure. She has also been amazing at injectables. She is skilled enough to know where Botox should go for my individual face to get the best effect for me- she definitely does not do a cookie cutter approach. She never overdoes it but does a perfect amount to keep me feeling so much more confident afterwards. It does not hurt when she does it, either. I have also had Sculptra with her which has really helped with my genetically (and age-enhanced) gaunt face. Other doctors had immediately suggested Voluma for me, but - even though she offers this and other fillers, she thought about my face and my needs, and even explained why she liked sculptra the best for me. I am SO happy I listened to her. The effects are not immediate, and take time, which is ideal for "blending" the results in - and truly, with her injectables and brow lift, people no longer come up and worry that I am tired or ask if I've lost weight or if I'm OK (the answer to all of those had previously been "nope, I'm just aging!") - now people think I look relaxed and happy again, and I can really attribute all of that to Jill's artistic eye, mission of "natural" and not overdone, and her honed skills. On top of that, her happy, positive, approachable personality makes each visit enjoyable as well - and the cool thing is that positivity doesn't compromise her professionalism, so she still is honest and realistic about what you can achieve. Finally, she has patience- for people like with many concerns and worries - she listens to all of them and doesn't rush you out of your appointment so you get all of your questions answered. Her office staff is really by all accounts AWESOME, friendly, and sweet. One of the great things about her office and staff, too, is that they totally understand about keeping it on the down low! Her office isn't on a main strip, doesn't have a screaming sign, so you feel totally comfortable going inside discreetly. They don't over book or schedule appointments on top of each other, so you aren't awkwardly sitting in the waiting room with other people / hoping a co-worker you didn't want to share this with doesn't walk in. Plus, they quickly escort you into a room to maintain privacy so your discretion is doubly protected. Just absolutely astonished by how I was treated here today. It was my second time at Hessler. I really hate to write a bad review because honestly I absolutely love the people here. They are so friendly and nice and welcoming. This is especially helpful when you are undergoing any number of nerve-wracking procedures. The first time I went I waited quite a long time inside the room. It was fine because I was on break and I didnt mind at all, and I told them that. But i think i waited close to 30-40 minutes of time I was actually in my room and didnt have the procedure done until an hour after my appointment was scheduled. It was fine, I liked the results and was happy with the service ( i got fillers). Today was worse. Absolutely awful! I waited in the waiting room for a solid 15-20 minutes. Then in the actual room for another 20-25 to see the doctor. In the end, I was there for an hour and ten minutes. Thats not what bugs me. What bothered me was that I was there for an hour and ten minutes for a procedure my doctor took 5 minutes (maybe 8, MAX) to do. She was obviously extremely busy, in and out of the OR and with other patients. I understand that. When but someone is sticking a goddamn needle in my face for the purpose of shaping in such a way that will make me pretty, I expect more than 5 minutes of a rushed through procedure. She was pretty gentle, but just absolutely so rushed, much different from the first time I was in there. I just cannot believe that's how she deals with clients. I am not going to comment on the actual procedure quite yet, because I will not really know how I feel about my results for another week or so. But I'll tell you, if my face ends up looking anywhere near as bad as I think it might, especially after the doctor rushed through my procedure and was in and out of the door in the flash of an eye, I will terribly displeased. I am only worried because the doctor did not want to place the filler where I wanted it, and instead added a bunch to my cheeks. Its fine, I trust her as a professional and i was happy the first time. But we will see. I really do not want to have to go to another doctor to have the filler removed. I will follow up on this review. After how I was treated today I will certainly not be back here again. Its quite unfortunate because I drive all the way from Berkeley to get procedures done and will be moving to PA in 6 months, so I would've liked to find a doctor i liked. read more

Outstanding Experience! Upon arriving at Dr. Hessler's office, we were greeted by a very private parking lot on a side street, just a few steps away from the front door. The reception area had fogged windows that allowed natural light to filter in while maintaining privacy. The receptionist was welcoming and knew exactly who I was and why I was there. After a brief wait in the comfortable waiting room, I was escorted to the examining room where a nurse verified my information before Dr. Hessler arrived. Dr. Hessler exuded warmth, had a great bedside manner, and was easy to talk to. She attentively listened to my concerns and provided a clear explanation of what she could do for me. There was no pressure to undergo any unnecessary procedures. I left with detailed information on pricing and the recommended procedure, and promptly booked my appointment. The administrative process was seamless, with nurse Reese reaching out to schedule my surgery and post-operative appointments. On the day of the surgery, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that I could wear my cozy pajamas and socks. Dr. Hessler reviewed the procedure with me and marked the areas to be treated. The nurse Angela ensured all details were in order while the anesthesiologist made me feel comfortable and at ease. The procedure was painless and efficient, with the staff displaying incredible kindness, patience, and professionalism throughout. Upon waking from surgery, I felt well cared for and amazed at how smoothly everything had gone. Dr. Hessler and her team truly provided an exceptional experience, surpassing any previous medical treatment I have received. It has only been 6 days since my surgery, and I am already having my sutures removed. It is hard to believe that such a short time has passed since my eyelid and neck surgery, as I have experienced minimal bruising and swelling. The results are so natural that the average person would not even notice I had surgery. I am extremely pleased with the outcome! In conclusion, if you desire the best results, I highly recommend seeing Dr. Hessler. I have been seeing Dr. Jill Hessler for 7 years for a variety of procedures, and that fact alone should tell you something. I have seen other plastic surgeons in the past for procedures, but Jill Hessler is my go-to doctor now. In fact, I drive 45 miles each way to see her--a small price to pay for what I get. In addition to Botox and fillers, which she does superbly, Dr. Hessler closed a dime-size skin cancer wound that was only 1/4 inch from my eye. She did this for me at Stanford. Within months the scar was barely noticeable, and now, 3 years later I can't find it even with a CSI team. But enough about critical, surgical issues, let's talk about my eyes, neck and lips. Dr. Hessler gives Botox and fillers a good name! My best friend kept staring at me one day and couldn't figure out what I'd done to my face, but she wanted to know so she could do it too. In fact, it was a tiny bit of filler on the outer corners of my mouth as well a pinch of filler in my lower lip. That little tweak alone wiped away about 20 years of aging, and that involuntary "frown" we acquire that makes us look old and grumpy--and it lasted for a year! Most people think I look 15-20 years younger than I am, and that's fine with me. Dr. Hessler is highly skilled, very personable, unquestionably professional, and never oversells a product or what the results might be. I am a nurse, and I know a good doctor when I see one. I am immensely happy with what Dr. Hessler has done for me. The entire staff, Sondra, Michelle, Dannielle and Carol are all warm, accommodating, and make me feel like I am the only person in the place. Would I like to look 25? Sure. But I'll settle for looking 45 when I am actually about to sign up for Medicare. I went to Dr. Hessler intending to have injectables. Although I knew I was thinking about surgery I wasn't sure if it was the right time. When asked what she would suggest for me when I was ready Dr. Hessler presented her ideas and was never pushy. I told her I didn't want to look "over -done" and preferred to be "underwhelmed" with my result and she was completely receptive and not at all intimidating. When I booked my date to have a lower facelift and eyelid surgery her staff was incredibly helpful and efficient. They suggested the first night I hire the surgical nurse who was in my surgery and that was the best idea ever. She drove me home and all night long iced my incisions. I am sure that is why my swelling was limited and was instrumental in my speedy recovery time. She drove me to the office in the morning so Dr. could inspect her work and monitor my recovery. I actually went to the office almost every other day for 10 days just to be reassured that I was progressing well. Each visit I was greeted by her wonderful staff and of course Dr. Hessler. When you are in bandages and stitches it is nice to know that the result is exactly what was expected! Each night I slept in a recliner. I am a side sleeper and this was a life saver. I highly recommend renting or borrowing one because sleep is essential. It is now 9 months later and I could not be happier with my results. I look "fresh" and rested and not at all pulled or unnatural. I highly recommend Dr. Hessler. Her pristine office and immaculate operating room always made me feel safe. She is one of the nicest people and I am sure we will be together for a long time as I intend to grow old in her extremely capable hands! read more

I had the good fortune to meet Dr Jill and her wonderful staff Danielle and everyone else about a year ago. After a horrible experience with another cosmetic surgeon who actually ended up significantly degrading my appearance. Dr Jill has been able to begin a restoration and corrective process with me to undo the earlier incompetence of my former cosmetic surgeon. I am so happy she had been able to start to restore the way I looked before I had the earlier procedure. (Fat graft under eyes) After the earlier procedure I looked 15 years older than I am because the fat wasn't injected correctly and then it migrated and and left me with under eye bags and unevenness. I tried to get the previous cosmetic surgeon to reverse the mess but it was like talking to a stone wall and I got absolutely no where. After asking him to please help me he injected (I think Restylane however he never showed me what he was injecting so I really think he shot something else, what, I don't know.) Instead of it working all I got was a semi circle line of what looked like insect sting bumps under my eyes for months! Then I met Dr Jill. She used the same product but the difference is Dr Jill knows what she's doing and sculpted the area under the eyes and has been able to some how start to reverse the earlier procedure. Dr Jill also brought the unopened product (Restylane)in the room and showed it to me before injecting it. The area under my eyes now looks much improved and hope has been restored once again. I give my highest recommendation to Dr Jill to anyone out there that is thinking about a cosmetic procedure. I would like to briefly describe an incredible experience. Even though Dr. Hessler's credentials were praised by a friend (who had wonderfully natural results from a facelift and neck lift by Dr. Hessler years ago), I was hesitant, particularly because I live over a thousand miles away from Palo Alto, to undergo facial plastic surgery there, but vanity took over. A pleasant, professional team assisted in the preparation of the trip. The accommodations at Dinah's Garden Hotel were perfect. I was given a nice room with a patio that was quiet and private. I hired Synergy Home Care for 24 hours after surgery and received great treatment. I had a facelift, eye lid surgery, and laser treatment done, 'the works', by Dr. Hessler and a competent team of assistants present, including an anesthesiologist. My recovery was amazingly quick. In fact, I visited two museums on the third day after surgery, went to dinner at The Sea by Alexander's Steakhouse on the fourth day, and accepted an invitation to an Easter Brunch in San Francisco less than a week after surgery. The incisions were barely noticeable from the start, and after returning home I did not have a single comment pointing to 'work done', or as they say 'pulled fresh'. Rather, I was told that 'your skin is so beautiful, which moisturizer are you using', 'you look so much younger since I saw you last', 'you look somewhat different, happier', 'your eyes are glowing, are you using different make-up', etc. ..... and most of all, I feel more confident and, yes, beautiful. I give Dr. Hessler and her amazing team my strongest recommendation. I wouldn't trust my face to anyone else but Dr. Hessler! read more

Excellent Results - Highly Recommend! I have been unhappy with my droopy eyelids for a while now - I knew I would have to consider this surgery (Bleph) since my late 30's. Fast forward 13 years later and it was time. Procedures performed: upper and lower bleph, brow lift, lower face lift (neck)...results are amazing. I could not ask for a better experience. This is a big decision - at least it was for me. The financial impact, time off work...but it is life changing. So if you can do it - do it. Trust Doctor Hessler's advice. She's conservative. It took me about 6 months before I figured out what would be right for me with her balanced input. But before that I had had several consultations with other surgeons in the Valley - spanning the last 7 years. Dr. Hessler came recommended by my clinical aesthetician in Los Gatos (April Shea) who had seen many of her patients of varying ages, and she told me her results are very natural and her scars are non-existent. It's true. That's the outcome I got. I'm happy to be a reference. The office has my contact information. Don't hesitate to ask. Dr. Hessler is amazing and a one of a kind doctor. I was very hesitant about trying botox or fillers because of all the horror stories you hear but at 59 my daughters pushed me into doing something for myself and to at least go check it out. Dr. Hessler came highly recommended by everyone I talked to and she surpassed all my expectations. She listened to all my concerns and what I was hoping the result would look like. She was always honest with telling me what to realistically expect and never once tried to push me into doing more then what I was comfortable with. I started off with botox and then at my next visit tried fillers. I received so many compliments of how great and radiant I look and people asking if I lost weight or if I had gotten a new haircut. When I told them I had gotten botox and filler they were blown away with how natural I looked. I am about to turn 60 next month and am hoping to get an eye lift from Dr. Hessler as well. I've been seeing Christy for years now for Botox and she is a true artist--her skillful injections leave me looking like myself, but far more rested and youthful. Her aesthetic eye and abilities are top notch and her kindness always puts me at ease and makes getting injectables an enjoyable experience! Christy is so great that even after moving to San Francisco I still make the drive to Palo Alto--she really is that good! I've also completed a series of BBL photofacials with Christy and have loved the results. Christy does an incredible job of explaining different procedures and options when you ask (I've never felt pressured or pushed into trying anything), she really is excellent at explaining different options, pros/cons of different treatments, and provides realistic expectations so you can make an informed decision if it's right for you or not. I'm thrilled with the BBL photofacials and will no doubt continue to see Christy for other procedures or lasers in the future. Along with Christy, the entire staff is such a joy and so helpful. 02/08/2021 I am a middle aged male who intends to age gracefully, and over the last few years I've had Neck Lift, Mini Face lift, and Septoplasty procedures done at Hessler Plastic surgery, all performed by Dr. Jill Hessler herself. Dr. Hessler is not only highly qualified and experienced in her field, but based on my own personal experience, I consider her an artist as well. In fact, I would dare anyone to find any indication (marks of any kind) on my face to indicate that I had any work done at all. Her stitching stills are truly exceptional. The support staff at Hessler Plastic Surgery are knowledgable and friendly, providing a comfortable and calming atmosphere for patients. My most recent procedures, recommended to address some loose skin on my neck, were Viora REACTION RF Skin Tightening, and another procedure called SkinTyte, which delivers heated energy in rapid, gentle pulses to promote contraction and partial coagulation of the collagen, initiating the body's natural healing process. Since having these procedures (which require no downtime whatsoever, by the way), about a month ago, the loose skin on my neck has indeed been tightened. I am very pleased with the results. After spending thousands of dollars on facial treatments (elsewhere) that had little or no chance of treating my sagging jowls, skin and neck I finally came to the realization that I needed a face and neck lift. Let's start by saying that I am a long time nurse, so I have seen just about everything, good and bad, and I am rather skeptical. Starting with my initial video consultation (Covid pandemic) and armed with multiple selfies, Dr Hessler put all of my fears to rest. She was compassionate and caring and all of my insecurities were addressed. It was quite clear that she is a perfectionist and has a very artistic eye. A factor that also helped me make my decision was the use of MAC anesthesia (twilight sedation) given the risks and my intolerance of general anesthesia. The techniques that she has mastered really did leave me with very little bruising and no need for drains. Follow up care was exceptional and my multiple questions were patiently answered. I love her staff as well, especially Devon, who was with me throughout the whole process. I am currently 7 months postop and extremely happy with the results. I had struggled with bad skin relating to severe and chronic acne from my late teens into the mid 20's. I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Jill Hessler and her team. After months of research to find a doctor in the Bay Area to do a mid-face lift for me, I chose Dr. Hessler. From the start, she was thoughtful, attentive and extremely knowledgeable. I also liked that she only does faces, is Double Board Certified and teaches! She made me feel confident in her abilities and was more than willing to discuss my desired outcome. Her front office, exam rooms and surgery room are spotless, a huge plus in my book! To top it off, the night after my surgery, Dr. Hessler was available at 9:00pm to answer a question I had. It was very reassuring to know I could reach her when I need to. Dr. Hessler is truly an expert in her field. She is highly down to earth, an active listener, and dedicated to working/treating her patients so that they look and feel their best. I started off seeing Dr. Hessler for Botox about a year ago. She is a skilled artist when it comes to Injectables and has a natural approach to her technique. Each time I am thrilled with the results. It feels great when people comment on how refreshed you look! Especially when you are a teacher ;) Dr. Hessler has also been sincerely helpful in educating me on how to improve my skin from laser options to skin care products. I finally feel like I have a glow. The office is clean and the customer service is superb! When I enter the office, it feels welcoming and the staff treats you as a whole person and not just a patient. I recently saw Dr. Hessler for my first Xeomin treatment (it's a new alternative to Botox) - I think that the company that makes Xeomin has given the product to only a carefully selected handful of doctors around this area to give the product to, and Dr. Hessler is one of them. In fact, my girlfriend tells me that Dr. Hessler gets lots of the newest products and equipment first, so that tells you something. Even if that wasn't the case, though, I'd still highly recommend her, because she is just so personable and thorough, and she makes you feel assured that you're in good hands. Every time I see her, I feel like I'm getting her full attention, which isn't always the case with doctors. Plus, she has great credentials and experience to complement her terrific people skills. I'm not ready for surgery yet but I saw the results of her eyelid plastic surgery (blepharoplasty) and rhinoplasty (nose surgery) and they are amazing! When I turned 42 This year I really started to notice the fine lines in my face and looked very tired. I've seen a couple of plastic surgeon's before and felt extremely rushed and felt as if I was just another dollar to them. On top of this, The results were not even that great. So I was hesitant on seeing another one. Dr. Hessler came highly recommended from a friend of mine so I went to see her. Not only did Dr. Hessler take her time with me, she was honest with what she saw and recommended a couple of options. She was not just trying to sell me on a face lift. The result was, Dr. Hessler injected Botox on my frown lines and forehead then injected Dysport where my crows feet are. 6 months ago I had a mini-lift done by Dr. Hessler. Approaching 50, I was seeing my jawline slacken as well as loose skin around my smile. I came to Dr. Hessler for an evaluation and immediately felt comfortable with her manner and professionalism. I was not looking for drastic changes, but natural looking, subtle improvements. She was not pushy, but very straightforward in explaining what she would do and why. I ended up having the lower eyes done and fat transfer into the hollows of my cheeks as well. I love the results!! Nothing looks pulled or artificial. As my friends say, I basically look refreshed. I have my jawline back, my double chin is gone and even my neck looks great! I highly recommend Dr. Hessler. Extraordinary!! Dr. Hessler is kind, smart, extremely skillful and ethical. I have been going to Dr. Hessler for a few years and she always listens with patience to my many concerns. I am in my 50's with terrible sun damage and Dr. Hessler has helped me with severe wrinkling. I change my mind about procedures due to my own angst, but she always hangs in there with me, allowing me to never feel pressured. I will have a facelift after I heal from an illness as I know of someone who had a facelift with Dr. Hessler and was impressed by the natural, lovely results. I have seen several plastic surgeons but Dr. Hessler stands out and as others have mentioned, she does not try to oversell. I had Coolsculpting done on my waist and love handles with Dr. Hessler and found her to be very kind and accommodating. She seemed busy but always made the time to check in with me and listen to my questions and concerns. I felt very comfortable with her, and was impressed at the results; even though she said I presented a challenge because I have a small frame, she still did her best and the results turned out very nice and even more artfully done than I expected! The staff was very friendly, attentive and personable. I agree wholeheartedly with the other reviews that say Dr. Hessler's office did not rush appointments or try to sell me anything; I got stuck in traffic for forty minutes on the way to my second appointment and they still saw me right away with no complaints and got me out in time for work! They gave me the multiple-package discount even though I bought the treatments separately and never tried to sell me any extras. I highly recommend this clinic! read more

During my consultation appointment, the nurse spent over 30 minutes reviewing a questionnaire I had completed online, re-asking irrelevant details such as my prior surgeons' names and their locations. This felt unnecessarily tedious for an initial consult. About 15 minutes into this process, the doctor briefly came in to begin the consultation (then quickly left), because the nurse continued questioning me for another 15+ minutes. During this time, the nurse shared her age and cosmetic history, commented that I appeared too young for a facelift, and shared some unrelated personal stories despite the appointment running behind schedule. While well-intentioned, this felt less professional than I expected. During the consult, the doctor spent about 10 minutes with me and said I was not a good candidate for a facelift due to a few raised scars on my body from prior liposuction. Yet, my facial scars from two prior lip lifts and a hairline brow lift are nearly invisible and well healed, and I have never had hypertrophic scarring. Scars can be improved with steroid injections or lasers, so refusing a facelift based solely on scar risk felt unreasonable. It also suggested a lack of confidence in her ability to minimize scars. She gave no other explanation for why I was not a candidate beyond saying the subtle lift I might get was not worth the potential scar risk in her view. The doctor took some casual photos on her iPad but offered no thorough assessment. Between the nurse's irrelevant, lengthy questioning and the doctor's narrow, dismissive evaluation, I left feeling this was neither a professional nor competent consultation.

I was originally scheduled with nurse Hana for Botox but then I was switched to Dr Kelsey Lipman at the last minute after my facial. I am so very grateful that I was! Dr Lipman took her time with me. I felt that she genuinely listened to my concerns and she was patient.(Even though it was already almost 5:00 and I'm sure she wanted to go home). She addressed all my concerns and all of my questions, which were numerous. This was my first time getting Botox and discussing fillers with any doctor. Dr Lipman made me feel very much at ease and made sure I had thorough understanding of everything. She was not pushy at all. She respected the fact that I wanted to have a lighter approach, and she tailored her technique to what I wanted. Dr Lipman really knows what areas to inject. I could tell by her process of telling me how to move my face, and strategically placing the shot, she *really* knows what she's doing. Obviously, Dr. Lipman has a great education but bedside manner is something that cannot be taught- it is intrinsic. Dr Lipman was super kind. When she did the first injection in my glabella, I started hyperventilating and freaked out. I have a needle phobia going back a long time, and I'm diagnosed with panic attack and anxiety disorder. The shot felt weird, since I was not used to it. I freaked out and said, "I can't do this anymore. Please stop!" She immediately stopped and said, "No problem at all, just relax and breathe, you don't have to do anything you don't want to do." Then she smiled and said, "Hey I'll be right back. I have something for you!" So here I am, trying to calm myself down because I just freak out about needles like that. (It stems from massive dental trauma when I was young). I really wanted the Botox though, I wanted that gift for myself. Dr Lipman came back in with a synthetic breast implant! She told me what it was and said ,"Many patients find this is better than a stress ball." Lol I had never seen or felt a breast implant before, so this was already novel and also amusing. She was totally right! It was actually extremely soothing. better than a squish ball to squeeze for stress! LOL so I'm cracking up about squeezing this breast implant and feeling much better about things so I asked her to please continue. She did, and she took her time and reminded me to breathe and told me when to relax. It was great, and totally not painful. Plucking my eyebrows feels worse. She was fabulous, she recommended when I should take breaths in when she's going to do the injections, and the whole procedure moved really fast. Many of the injections were completely painless, this was all my own psychological doing that freaked me out. I I highly recommend Dr Kelsey Lipman for any of your cosmetic needs. She really impressed me with her customer service skills and caring for me as a patient. Due to a personal history of anaphylactic shock, I had some concerns about a potential allergic reaction. Dr Lipman was kind enough to share her cell phone number with me in case of an emergency so I can call her right away!! I really value that service and compassion. This high level of care has been something that's been very rare throughout my medical history. Thanks again Dr Lipman, you are amazing! I look forward to next time.

However, I now realize that Dr. Pearl chose Dr. Ereso as a partner because he is. I am a 51 year old woman, who must remain competitive in my career here in the Valley. I just visited Dr. Ereso for the first time to have filler in my cheeks and lips. I wanted a "boost" to restore what my face has lost, but I did --not-- want to look like a movie star or Angelina Jolie. I wanted to look as good as possible, youthful if possible, and like my best self. I wanted a subtle change. Dr. Ereso listened and really heard what I was hoping for. He talked to me about the kinds of fillers and the places they would (and wouldn't) help achieve the results I wanted. He let me know as the process was done, what was happening and what to expect. He also let me know what I could expect in the next few days going forward. The office staff are also truly lovely, kind and good. However, the new nurse manager Jackie will be the downfall of the office and sink the business. She is indeed rude, condescending, impatient, and dismissive towards patients. She behaves as if she is the doctor, busting into the exam room without introduction with a demanding tone, cornering you as if it's an interrogation (why not look at the chart instead of acting like the patient is an idiot or imposter). She touches patients without consent and without gloves! It was very confusing as to why she was there instead of the doctor. She presented herself as a barrier, you must talk to her first and then she discusses your case with the doctor before he will come in. But, she doesn't understand or know anything about established patients AND is not pleasant to talk to! I do not know any office that runs like this. We come for the doctor's expertise, not for a nurse or office manager to take over the appointment. These steps add extra time to an already tight schedule. She has made a mess of the paperwork records; electronics glitch and she's added many forms and confusing steps, some contradict one another and do not flow or make sense. Solo time with Dr. Ereso would be a redeeming aspect of the office visit, but Jackie storms into that time as well. If the practice returns to being doctor-patient centered, then I'll reconsider a future review.
