Doctor Hessler is a highly skilled surgeon. She is also a warm, friendly and compassionate doctor. If you put your face in her artistic hands, you will not regret it. I am 70 years old and one year out from a deep plane face and neck lift, lower blepharoplasty and laser resurfacing. I just had my 47th birthday so it was time for botox. I don't know why I waited this long! I was really nervous about my appointment but my injector was great. Really knowledgeable. I honestly don't understand the raving reviews. The place was nice, clean and they clearly do a high volume of patients, so there is that. I went in for nose job and felt very little care/concern provided and ultimately post surgery called with concerns on the brace they put on/recovery and was dismissed. They didn't even want to see me or address it and said just come at normal scheduled appoint. Nose was not straightened and they told me to use my fingers to shape it some excessive number of times a day to fix it. No real acknowledgement that my nose was very crooked still and the lack of significant improvement. It is very costly here and no follow up after the first appointment or even offer to try to fix. I wouldn't go back to have it fixed either way but they were happy to take my money and move on with life with no follow up or resolution what so ever. Well aware it won't always be perfect but low review is for how treated throughout the process, high price with little care or attention. read more

When seeking a professional for my future surgery, I decided to have conciliations with 3 different Surgeons. After seeing the first two male Dr's which are board certified plastic surgeons, I felt curious to seek a female facial board certified plastic surgeon, intrigued by her focus on doing only facial procedures. At my conciliation, my positive experiences with Dr Hessler & her team gave me an immediate "YES!" She was very professional & friendly, explaining in detail the full process. She was the first Dr who explained corrections she could make with the addition of Septoplasty for correct a breathing issue due to my right nostril closing tightly when breathing in quickly. She also shared details about my thicker skin & how it most likely takes longer for the swelling to recover. I really appreciate her honesty & realism. She even offered a helpful discount for sharing my experience post surgery w/ before & after photos, which I felt is not only generous, but gave me confirmation that she is confident in her skillful outcome. During my appointment, It was reassuring to be informed that Dr Hessler is a motivated teacher as well & will be speaking this weekend at AAFPRS Masters of Facial Plastic Surgery Meeting discussing techniques with other masters in the field. I was offered a tour of the surgery room & all equipment was high-tech, sparkly-new with a large screen for up-close footage during surgery. I had my second pre-op appointment & it went smoothly. We went over preparation details & I was given a take-home folder with a shopping list. The most exciting part of this experience for me was to see the 3D image results of the desired new nose! It really helped to ease my mind of wondering what I would look like. I'm so grateful for the 3D imagery option with Dr Hessler Surgery! Today I received the results that I tested negative for Covid.. now in count-down mode for my surgery in less than a week. Ultherapy is a procedure that sparks debate, with numerous concerning stories circulating. Perhaps, with thicker and darker skin, I might be a more suitable candidate, but I also believe the practitioner's skill plays a crucial role. After years of struggling from 4 to 6 sinus infections a year and breathing issues, I had developed obstructive sleep apnea and would only sleep an average of 3 hours a night, constantly waking up. I would wake gasping for air as my right nostril had very little airflow and when I would get congested at night is when I would have the hardest time breathing through my nose. I would end up breathing through my mouth most of the day and all through the night. That gave me other issues like irritated throat, dry mouth, and swollen tongue which made it hard to talk in the morning. I tried a wedge pillow, nose strip, humidifier and every nasal spray I could find finding only momentary relief ( minutes ) with the medicated nasal sprays. Nothing was helping and the lack of sleep was affecting me. Aesthetically I never liked my nose and I started hating it because it was causing me so many health issues. I decided enough was enough. I didn't want to keep complaining about something that could be changed. I decided I wanted to get a functional rhinoplasty (I had a deviated septum), to improve my breathing and improve the appearance as well. I did some research and after a couple of phone calls I decided that I wanted to go with Dr. Jill Hessler and I set up an in-person consultation. (I know with COVID 19 going anywhere is very different from before. Her office has a protocol in place and after being explained the details of it on the phone and in email I saw minimal risk and decided to move forward and go in person. My health had been so greatly affected by my nose that I decided the small risk was very much worth it.) I went in for my consultation and I truly felt like Dr. Hessler understood what I wanted.  I did choose Dr. Hessler because she specializes in the face and is an expert in noses. I felt confident she would improve my breathing and the look of my nose. My surgery date was scheduled for about a month after my consultation date. Everything went great!I had the best nurse, Devon she checked in on me every day for the first four days and made herself so available to answer all my questions. I really appreciate Devonand Dr Hessler they made me feel so comfortable throughout the whole thing .I experienced very minimal pain only the day of surgery at night and the 2 days following. I moved onto using tylenol on day 3. On day 3 I felt completely normal and I could not believe the airflow I was getting already! All of the bruising was gone by day 5. On day seven I was back to work and just had to be careful with lifting heavy objects on my day to day. I had post op for cast removal about a week after and it was easy and only mildly uncomfortable, not painful at all. I was told I was still very swollen that day but it already looked great to me. One week after that and most of the swelling was gone! I was not expecting results like this until 3 months in! I have been sleeping 6 to 8 hours a night. I am now about a year post op, zero complications not a single sinus infection, I can sleep like a normal person and have amazing air flow with no more congestion. I am very thankful for Dr. Hessler and her staff. Seriously just follow the instructions you are given and healing will be a breeze read more

I came to Dr. Hessler's office super open, looking for her and Christy's recommendations on how to improve my eye bags and lower face area, and 6 months later I'm here writing this in my 30s looking better than I looked in my teens. After consulting with the team I just knew that I didn't need to look any further, their communication was fantastic, I left there educated and confident in the plan we came up with. I underwent the combined procedures in one surgery: lower blepharoplasty with fat transfer, facetite with chin lipo, chin implant, and buccal fat reduction. Dr. Hessler's clinic excels on every facet of facial surgery, judging by my experience: it offers enormous technical skill from Dr. Hessler herself to achieve exactly what the patient asks of her before going into the OR -- no more and no less -- and a support team that is both highly coordinated and efficient and genuinely caring about each patient. I had Dr. Hessler do a comprehensive face lift on me, including upper and lower blepharoplasty. The comprehensiveness of this treatment was very much my decision, after she laid out the various options for me -- there was no pressure whatsoever from her or her staff. Make no mistake about it, a facelift is real surgery, with anesthesia, a small risk of infection and other complications, a recovery period requiring supervision, and vast potential differences in scarring and outcome for visual attractiveness and perceived facial expression. A changed range of facial expression rather than a magical return to youth was in fact my main concern. For some reason age was making me look indefatigably stern to the point of obscuring positive social signals. Dr. Hessler got it. Nobody has noticed that I had something substantive done to my face, not even my young adult kids -- well, maybe they'd be the last to notice in any case. But I can sense that people are reacting differently to me now, responding to my smile when I do in fact smile, etc. Having looked at typical before-and-after pictures of facelifts done elsewhere (whether the cheapest or the priciest), I suspect that this subtlety in what she can achieve, using her own judgment and artfulness to give a patient exactly what is requested in what's ultimately a social change, really sets Dr. Hessler apart. As to that recovery period, I could see Dr. Hessler and her team every step of the way (as often as I would have liked, I suspect), have my healing monitored, and reassure myself that whatever minor discomforts I experienced were normal indeed. I am 44 y/o and recently had Co2 laser and upper blasphemy on my eyelids. I had my procedure on a Friday and was back to work on Monday (video off for only a few days while the laser healed and swelling subsided). Dr. Hessler and team are awesome! I'd been thinking about a lower blepharoplasty for years and finally decided to pull the trigger. I went to several different consultations and felt most at ease with Dr. Hessler. Even though she was super busy I never felt rushed at my appt and she took the time to answer all questions. I was incredibly nervous because this would be my first surgery ever but Hessler and nurse Devon made me feel very comfortable from beginning to end. My biggest fear was not being sedated enough and that I would feel them working on me but I was knocked out completely, didn't feel a thing! Recovery was incredibly easy and the most pain (which was minimal) I had was in my belly from the fat transfer. My eyes were more uncomfortable rather than painful. I love Hessler Plastic Surgery! I first visited after turning 36 and noticing my face was changing-- seemly overnight. Dr. Hessler helped explain that the changes I was seeing was due to facial volume loss and thus, I was first introduced to fillers. Dr. Hessler has a wonderful nurse, Sofia, who also does an excellent job with fillers (at a reduced price -- which is great for my student budget!). Sofia has also performed a series of microneedling with prp which made my skin GLOW like new baby skin. This treatment included subcision to tackle some unfortunately deep, old acne scars -- as the healing process has continued, I've definitely seen a reduction in the scar depressions. I'm now mid treatment using the new Secret RF (which is microneedling with radiofrequency) as a continuation of the scar treatment. An added (delightful and amazing) benefit is this also tightens and renews your skin. After one treatment, my whole face is lifted (including my brows!!!), and my complexion is brighter. I'm looking forward to seeing how my scars respond -- they already appear less noticeable, but the skin repair process take a couple months to have its full effect. I feel years younger and so happy with my appearance since coming here! Their work is very natural, as I don't look overdone in anyway. I just look like a younger version of myself.
