I was told it would be about 10 days until they were ready. The gentleman I spoke with said he would text me when they were ready. After about 2 weeks I gave them a call and was told they had a part time person helping out who hadn't shown up for a few days, so they were a bit behind. However, he did tell me they would ensure my slacks were ready the next day by 1pm. Went and picked up the slacks and saw what wonderful work they did. Very clean hems and the pants were also pressed and hanged. The folks here do great work. The cost for the hems was $18.50/pair, which initially was a bit more than I expected, but after seeing the work, I realize is totally worth it. I will definitely be going back and giving them all my tailoring business.

Let's start off with what I don't like...umm I can't think of one thing that I don't like but I have a million reasons otherwise. The quality....the clothing is built to last. I've had t-shirts that are at least 5 years old and they look practically new after many washes. No fading at all. I have totes, crossbody bags, socks, keychains, candles...and various other clothing items. No complaints whatsoever. The store is beautiful, rustic, nostalgic and pays homage to the area where the store is situated. I miss the downtown location but the store in the Strip serves us well. I had heard this shop moved here into the Terminal, but I was not familiar with the brand. It's a nice little shop with cool decor. It is designed to look retro. They even have an old classic Triumph motorcycle on display. What caught our eye was a shirt displayed on an outside rack with a crying pirate on it that said . . . "Actually There's A Lot of Crying in Baseball," which is very apropos to our local Major League team here in Pittsburgh. The shirt was $36. We bought one for a Father's Day gift. I was surprised to learn that the return policy on shirts is one year . . . ONE YEAR!! That's kinda crazy, but apparently they are supposedly good quality, and made in the U.S.A. In addition to shirts, they also had other clothing too, such as hats, shorts, socks, n'at, and they even had stickers for sale . . . Cheers! P.S. One negative thing was that they don't give out paper receipts. You can have it e-mailed or sent by text. I opted for an e-mail, but it never actually arrived (meh)!!!

I found this shop in search of a specific wedding dress brand (Essence of Australia) and MarWin came up as a vendor carrying the brand in my internet search on my area. We set an appointment and I received attentive one on one VIP treatment for the entire appointment. You can bring your entire wedding party group as well. I was not sure of the fit and style of dress I wanted initially. Their appointment app was helpful to prepare me for my visit. When we arrived, they helped me to try on several options from their robust collection to narrow down my search. They were extremely patient with me while helping me try on the dresses while providing helpful tips along the way. Their selection was robust for women of all tastes, shapes and sizes. Prices for dress and alterations were comparable to the market. Their shop was similar to a boutique and was bright, adorable and perfect! I am very indecisive and did a search among several shops in Pittsburgh before making my final decision. The dress of my dreams and the quality of the 2 dresses in my final running ended up being from MarWin. I took I pictures of all dresses that I tried on. I was pulled right back to their shop every time. Quality was unmatched. My dress had been at the shop from the first try on and was waiting for me when it was time for me to make a final decision. Karen did the alterations and the bustle for my dress. She is a master with her skills. With over 30 years of experience, she made magic happen with my dress putting any worries I had to rest and made sure my dress had the most amazing fit specifically for me. She was extremely patient and professional with me the entire time and answered all questions I had along the way. She also helped me with try ons when my dress order came in. Solution: Convert the trench coat to a trench jacket, maintaining Burberry proportions and not ruin the coat. Mr Vargas is a Master Tailor. He was able to shorten the coat (and liner) while maintaining proportions and fully functionality. Guillermo Vargas is much more than a Master Tailor, he is an Artist who understands Design. I brought a leather jacket to be repaired and cleaned and boy did Roberta's team deliver!…read moreI'm kicking myself for not taking pictures of the jacket before repair, but trust me, the lining was totally ruined and needed a lot of work. Her team replaced the lining and cleaned the leather so that it looks as good as new. The jacket is from the 80s so they were able to restore it to its glory days! The price was reasonable and they got me my jacket in less than 2 weeks. If you ever need leather repairs or cleaning do yourself a favor and stop in this store.
