Let's start off with what I don't like...umm I can't think of one thing that I don't like but I have a million reasons otherwise. The quality....the clothing is built to last. I've had t-shirts that are at least 5 years old and they look practically new after many washes. No fading at all. I have totes, crossbody bags, socks, keychains, candles...and various other clothing items. No complaints whatsoever. The store is beautiful, rustic, nostalgic and pays homage to the area where the store is situated. I miss the downtown location but the store in the Strip serves us well. If you have yet to visit you're definitely in for a treat!

We were walking around the Strip District Terminal yesterday and visited the new Steel City…read moreClothing Company. I had heard this shop moved here into the Terminal, but I was not familiar with the brand. It's a nice little shop with cool decor. It is designed to look retro. They even have an old classic Triumph motorcycle on display. What caught our eye was a shirt displayed on an outside rack with a crying pirate on it that said . . . "Actually There's A Lot of Crying in Baseball," which is very apropos to our local Major League team here in Pittsburgh. The shirt was $36. We bought one for a Father's Day gift. I was surprised to learn that the return policy on shirts is one year . . . ONE YEAR!! That's kinda crazy, but apparently they are supposedly good quality, and made in the U.S.A. In addition to shirts, they also had other clothing too, such as hats, shorts, socks, n'at, and they even had stickers for sale . . . Cheers! P.S. One negative thing was that they don't give out paper receipts. You can have it e-mailed or sent by text. I opted for an e-mail, but it never actually arrived (meh)!!!

However, the biggest issue I encountered was the delay in processing my order. I hung my items up so the attendant could count them and she noticed I had a Starbucks drink and told me I had to either leave it in the cart or with her at the counter (GROSS!). I definitely wasn't doing that, so she wouldn't let me try the clothes on. She was super rude about it too. I told her that I walked around the store with it, so what was the difference if I brought it in the fitting room?? I could have spilled it anywhere in the store and it would have had to have been cleaned up. If drinks aren't allowed, they should post it. It was just an off-putting experience and I told her that I'm a grown up and I can handle having a drink. In the past, I also had a bad experience with this attendant. She's miserable. To sum it up, I left the store without trying on the clothes. The line is always massively long when I go in here anyway. I doubt that I will go back to this location again.

I came in to book rentals for my wedding next year and the service that I received from not only the regular employees, but also the store manager was absolutely disgusting to say the least. In the past, I hadn't had many bad experiences with this location but they seem to have cleaned house and completely redid their staffing. Josh didn't seem to know what he was talking about, Mike wasn't very helpful and couldn't give me direct answers to any questions, and the manager Jenn on this specific visit was just very rude and passive aggressive. I went in with my fiancé knowing exactly what we wanted, as we had spoke with someone at a bridal show in January and had randomly visited the South Hills location during a shopping trip about a month ago and decided to actually look at what was offered for rental packages. We were very pleased with what was offered and just needed to make sure that our groomsmen were okay with renting what was going to be needed and see if everyone actually needed to rent all of the pieces or if they had a suit that was similar and just needed a shirt, vest, etc. When we went to the Robinson location, we spoke with a few people, including the store manager and she brushed off all of what we had wanted and made our plans sound small and stupid. We ended up not booking with Men's Wearhouse and went to Top Hat Tuxedo in Fox Chapel, where we were met with overwhelming support and kindness - unlike this location. I can tell that the manager walks around on a high horse and i'm not sure why. The store was dirty, the staff was undertrained, and the manager was rude. I hope other people have better experiences than we did, but yes, a 1 star from us, and some advice to any engaged couple seeing this - DON'T BOOK HERE. The manager will make your feelings and ideas for YOUR wedding feel invalid and small. It's your wedding, not hers and not her employees. If they treat you the way they treated us, go somewhere better. Top Hat Tuxedo was great.

It truly also feels like they just plot a store into an empty spot in a strip mall, and it never took the time to make any physical updates to the space itself. The bathrooms are disgusting. I stopped in today just to peep around and see what they had. They had clothing sections for Men, Women, and Youth, and also shoes too. They also had some sporting equipment. Nothing really caught my eye, and it didn't seem like prices were any cheaper than usual, I don't know, maybe they were. Admittedly, I am not a very big shopper.
