I've used Westside Cleaners a handful of times over the years, mostly out of convenience--but…read moreunfortunately, I've never been consistently satisfied with the results. One of the more frustrating experiences was when they returned one of my husband's shirts literally half shrunk. I know that sounds strange, but one side of the shirt was visibly shorter than the other--and it absolutely was not like that when we brought it in. We followed up multiple times asking for an explanation and never received any real response or resolution. Another time, I brought in a white women's blazer with a small red wine stain. Before even attempting anything, I was immediately told they wouldn't be able to get it out. I asked them to try anyway. When I got it back, not only was the wine stain still there, but there were additional spots that hadn't been cleaned either--and I was still charged. Out of curiosity, I went home, put a little hydrogen peroxide on the wine spot, and it came out instantly. I then brought the blazer to another dry cleaner, and they were able to remove the remaining stains without an issue. It honestly made me question whether my jacket had even been cleaned at all. At one point, I inquired about their delivery service and was met with a pretty rude response--basically told that unless we used dry cleaning weekly, they wouldn't consider us. That was surprising, especially since we do use dry cleaning regularly--we just choose to go elsewhere because of past experiences. They said they'd follow up and send a driver with a bag...that never happened. Most recently, I brought in a bundle of clothes, including very small toddler items. I made a point to mention that some pieces were for young children. When I picked everything up, I was charged the same price for a toddler suit as an adult suit. When I asked about it, I was told they don't differentiate pricing for kids. That didn't sit right--there's a big difference between cleaning a tiny toddler outfit and a full adult suit. At that point, it honestly felt like I could have bought new clothes for the same price. After multiple experiences like this, I had to ask myself how many chances to give. For me, this was the last one.

They charge you the monies, but the pick up and delivery service is super efficient and if there is…read moresome issue or problem (or you simply forget to leave your laundry outside for pick up) that requires an attendance at the storefront location, the folks there are super friendly and helpful to boot. If you are too busy to iron because you are out in the world making things happen (yo yo dollar bills y'all), these guys have your back. Word. The delivery service works best when there is continual flow of garments through the system (leave the bag outside for every scheduled pickup and you'll get pressed clean clothes back at every delivery). The system isn't designed for occasional use. Dirty and crumpled In the yellow bag shirts change Pressed. Clean. Ready. How can they improve? Perhaps a better solution for the forests of hangars and oceans of plastic that comes with the regular use of their service. Now that we are in mid coronavirus panic may not be the ideal time - but switching to reusable hangars and garment bags would certainly work for the large repeat customer base.

I don't even think my gated community likes vendors going through that early when I called to say that I'm not leaving my clothes out overnight, they said basically that's too bad. The young girl on the phone was rude.

I asked if they could steam the bottom when they're done to get the wrinkles out, and he said yes. I asked how much and verbatim said "its done next door so I don't know exactly but it'll be a couple more bucks" I get back and they literally charged me DOUBLE what I initially agreed to for the alteration. SHADY, unprofessional, and bad business overall. The drapes were not even hemmed evenly. What a terrible way to squeeze money out of people.

All the original stains were still on the jacket (see photos). The red dress had a grease stain in the front, easy to remove, and the stain was still there. It was clear to me that the jacket had not been cleaned at all...they didn't even touch it. The black stain on the jeans was still there and the white polo had still the original stains and was not press as well. This is a shame. How can a cleaner stay in business without cleaning the Customers clothes? This is the worst experience in my life. I told the lady that I didn't want to pay for the clothes as they had not been cleaned. (Out of six pieces, only 2 were ok). She tore them clean out of my hand and she started screaming and she was very bad and rude. She didn't even offer to redo the clothes. When I asked her why they didn't use the common stain removers like Pyratex she erroneously said that this stain remover cannot be used for dry cleaning. Therefore either they don't do dry cleaning or they don't know how to do it and for a dry cleaning store it's a shame anyway. I asked to speak to the owner and she said he was not there and she couldn't call him either. At the end I had to pay the full amount (expensive) to get my dirty clothes back. I'll never go back to this cleaner and I will recommend all my friends to do the same.
