Here is the experience a friend had; she brought in a pair of capri pants to have the hips taken in. He measured her hips. She would have done it herself, but the zipper was on the hip side of the pants. Without a sewing machine it's a major job. That was on Monday. The pants were promised Friday. INSTANT!?? She paid $20. but didn't try them on in the store. Her mistake. At home it was obvious what was asked to be done wasn't. The hips were still loose, the waist too tight. We returned Saturday, he said he did the waist, but not the hips. She told him that is not what she wanted. He refused to correct the situation or do anything to please the customer. She told him keep the $20. and he would never see her again. There was NO language barrier; there's no excuse for the poor workmanship and customer service. She just bought them a Macy's and now they'll be donated to Goodwill.

Mario delivers an old school charm and ability to do just about everything. Mario is an Italian immigrant who spent many years in this industry including working at West Point and fitting/altering cadet uniforms. I've trusted him enough to fit me for my wedding tuxedo, and subsequent visits have had him alter other clothes, customize a suit, and order tuxedo's for other events. Compared to renting tuxedo's form "Men's Warehouse," Mario is much more trustworthy in his approach to measuring and making sure everything fits when it arrives. His prices are also fair and everything is received promptly He essentially runs the business in his house (separate side entrance) off of Titusville road. If you blink you may miss it, so look for the sign on his front yard (took a picture of it when I stopped by today). If you're looking for something to be made custom for you, a tux for a wedding/prom/event, or need some clothes adjusted, he is exceptional at what he does and I highly recommend you see him

I'm transitioning from having a fast-fashion closet to a smaller capsule wardrobe with timeless quality pieces. Unfortunately, I have an unusual body shape that off-the-rack clothing looks a little off - and I can't afford bespoke. So I'm shopping for high quality pieces that are more expensive but bringing them in for tailoring as I can afford to purchase them. She is honest and will tell you if something will or won't work. She's even told me that the quality/material/craftsmanship of something was so poor it wouldn't be worth my while to alter it. It was more cost effective for me to just buy it new. And she was right! She also did my wedding dress - and she made me feel like I was wearing the most elegant and timeless piece I've ever owned. (It was a Carolyn Bessett-Kennedy inspired sheath.) Parking is in the lot next door in the auto repair shop but it's a bear pulling out when traffic is bad. She is very popular and has busy seasons but is very sweet and will accommodate you if you say you need something sooner. Very very highly recommended.
