The work she does is amazing. The price isn't too bad but the outcome is worth it. Had her take in the waist of some Lululemon shorts and it doesn't even look like alterations were made. Would highly recommend. P.S. she's CASH ONLY read more

Amazing fast and friendly service!! Needed a quick stitch on a pair of shorts and she took very good care of me. The prices are excellent, as well! Highly recommend read more

This spot is awesome! I had a pair of jeans hemmed and brought in on the lower legs and she did amazing. The jeans fit me perfectly after she was finished. My husband had a pair of shorts taken in on the waist and they also fit him perfectly. The woman was so kind and helpful and finished our alterations in a very reasonable amount of time. Definitely recommend!! read more

I hate being the first to to give this place a 4 star rating. They do an awesome job for a mom and pop place but a business that only takes cash or check is a big step backwards for ANY business operating in the 21st century. Not a lot of people are walking around carrying cash with them anymore and a "checkbook" what is that! Last time I wrote a check was 10yrs ago. Think about it how often do you see people walking around with these 2 things let alone an active duty military person. More than likely none! **Other than that this is still the place to go. They sewed a few patches on my uniform while I waited. Now if only they would take credit/debit cards I'd never have a reason to take my uniforms to the base to have them sewed. read more

The woman who does the alterations is the sweetest and most professional person you could meet. She does all her alterations in a timely manner and she can even do rush services. She's alternated most of my dress uniforms and they all fit so perfectly. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SHOP. read more

Had two rain oats needing hems, because they were lined I decided I couldn't do it myself. Negotiated a price, she explained it was higher because of the lining....pick up my coats and when I got home I realized that she had completely cut the lining out of both coats, ruining them. I will be back there on Monday, hope she makes things right! read more

For all of you in the oceanfront area, you should definitely be going here for your alterations. She made my new suit fit like a glove. Impressed! read more

This place is amazing. I tend to avoid any type of alterations because a lot of tailors that I have been to are somewhat rude and pushy, and tend to tell me what I want, when I am telling them differently. This place is so refreshing, and they do a great job at a great price. I've had simple hemming on jeans done (Which is WAY better than any other jeans that I have had done other places), and they did a great job on a dress as well. I recommend this place to everyone. read more

I took a few dresses and skirts here back in May to get hemmed and the bust taken in. She did such a wonderful job. I got all of my items back in less than a week, despite it being prom time. She even let me take them home to try on and bring back if needed at no charge since I was in a rush the day I picked them up. The only set back is she only takes cash, or check, but then again so has any seamstress that I've been to. This place is definitely worth running to the ATM for. There's also a quick mart in the same shopping center with an ATM. read more

The woman who works there does fabulous work. I was in a rush and didn't have my heels to try on during my dress fitting for a naval ball. At first she didn't want to do any alterations without trying it on with the shoes, but she could see I was desperate and worked with me to get the PERFECT fit. I had a lot taken up from the bottom, and a half inch around the bust...it fit wonderfully and cost me $65. read more

This place was recommended to me by a co-worker. I did not want to take my wedding dress to the typical, over-priced bridal shop for alterations. I am SO pleased with the customer service & outcome of my dress. The owner (I'm assuming) completed it within a little over a month which is FANTASTIC for a wedding dress. She fixed all of the things we discussed and did a wonderful job. There is a bit of a language barrier but do not let that stop you from doing business with this shop. She really is an excellent seamstress. The only reason I gave this place 4 stars instead of 5 is because she only takes cash or check. Debit/Credit cards are much more practical these days. Again though - go here! It's a great place to get your alterations done! read more

I wanted to write an update, as I have had a few more items tailored at A La Carte - some more pairs of slacks and jeans hemmed, and they re-worked a skirt for me that didn't fit me well anymore. On everything, they did a wonderful job and had my items ready when promised. Very reasonable prices. I am very happy with their work and would recommend them to others. I trust that if I was ever not happy with something that they would do everything needed to make it right. read more

Outstanding service, excellent work Don't be distracted by the accents. They understand completely. Prices are very fair and the quality of work is excellent. I've had everything from tailored suits to leather jacket shorten and it has been perfect every time. I won't go anywhere else. read more

Awesome! I recently got a bridesmaids dress altered here that needed a lot of work. She was super quick, had extremely reasonable prices and did a perfect job! She was half the price and twice as quick as the other tailors I checked with. I would definitely go back in the future. read more

Such a wonderful lady who owns this shop! She's very quick and thorough! She goes above and beyond to make sure dresses are a perfect fit! David's bridal said it would take 6 weeks for bridesmaid dress alterations. She did it in a week! I think it's a good thing she doesn't accept credit cards it keeps her prices cheaper then all the rest! read more

i took in several items and she had such a hard time understanding me that she called her daughter to translate. received the items back and she did a good job. i went back in, tried on more clothing for her to alter and again, same problem. i couldnt understand her except when she said "pretty and the dollar amount". i had to do a lot of hand gestures as to how i wanted the clothes to fit. and if i had a question about something, she would call her daughter and i would speak to daughter. she is a very nice lady and does a good job. the language barrier is frustrating and time consuming. oh and if you call asking a specific question or to describe the item you want altered to see if she can do it, forget it. you wont understand what she says. read more
