I could not be more impressed with the building itself... the multiple floors of beautiful amenities is just incredible & the units themselves are truly top notch. However, this review is primarily directed towards their impeccable staff. Kyle G - Leasing Professional - He could not have been more of a delight to work with & very patient with me throughout the whole process, he truly went above and beyond to create an open line of communication with me. Each and every request I had was handled with no delay, he immediately responded to my emails & took all of my phone calls, no matter how late in the day I reached out. From the beginning, Kyle provided invaluable assistance with the immense amount of paperwork and guidance regarding my service animal, all the way to the end when he was scheduling my move-in day & following up regarding my parking spot, making my transition into a new home absolutely stress-free. Jasmin G - Lifestyle Director - Her ability to make new residents feel welcomed is absolutely spectacular. A couple days before my move she reached out to make sure I was ready or if there was any assistance she could provide to help me with my move, i.e.. key pick up, reserved elevator, moving equipment/assistance. After confirming Kyle had taken care of absolutely everything on my behalf all I had to do was show up! She took time to walk me through the online residential portal and app, discussing service requests, guest lists & reservations. She's also provides a Move In Orientation (one-on-one or Zoom) which encompases the most vital information a new resident would need. Tina - Front Desk Manager - She has the most positive & helpful attitude I have ever come across! I met her on my move-in day, explained I wasn't sure where the loading dock was & the movers would be approaching soon. She not only helped navigate the movers to the dock, she then provided them extra rolling carts for my many many many boxes & periodically checked in to see if there was anything else they may need. It's very reassuring to know someone as polite & helpful as Tina oversees the front desk staff. These three individuals made my move absolutely wonderful. They are knowledgable, warm, friendly & addressed everything with the upmost degree of professionalism...DREAM TEAM. read more

I love living here, so much so that I have just renewed my lease for a second year. Every member of staff here, from the leasing office, front door and maintenance team are friendly, professional and responsive. I have lived in several apartment communities and have never had such a good experience. In the past year I have had only two reasons to call maintenance (both minor issues) and they were fixed almost immediately. What was even more impressive is that they fixed them based around my availability/convenience and not their own. The leasing office have always been extremely helpful. Several of the team actually live in the building themselves which I think is a big plus. The Door team always greet you with a smile, and will always jump up to help me with the door if my hands are full. Also my dog is obsessed with Tina as she gets a treat every time Tina is on duty! The area is super dog friendly. I have a large dog and we use both the facility at Alta (which is perfect for really cold winter days) and the several parks that are close by. There are dogs everywhere so there is always a friend for mine to play with. I was initially attracted to Alta Roosevelt due to the incentive they were offering at the time. I signed my contract without even having visited the building or neighborhood (I moved here from Florida), but I'm happy to say it was a gamble that really paid off. I even received an incentive to renew my lease this year which was a really welcome surprise - I'm used to Apartment managers who just want to charge more not less! Lastly the other amenities are great - the pool and fitness center are really nicely maintained and I can't wait to spend more time on the pool deck this summer. Since living here I have not met any disgruntled tenants, everyone seems very happy. I highly recommend it. read more

Just by looking through the photos and list of amenities, one can tell that Alta Roosevelt is a nice, upscale apartment complex in the South Loop. After living here for a year, I can attest for the quality of the apartment and its management. The public amenity spaces are very well monitored and kept maintained. It is a very dog friendly apartment, and offers both a fenced in residents-only dog area, along with an open, community dog park adjacent to the building. I do wish that the amenities were open a few hours later, especially on the weekends (they close at 10pm everyday of the week), but I understand they have the rule in place. Another great amenity is a very reasonably priced guest apartment suite that is perfect for when out of town guests visit. They truly try to engage the resident community and host multiple different events each month, from pool-parties to brunches. Management is very responsive and vocal about addressing residents' concerns. Engineering staff is very prompt to fix any issues I have had inside the unit (which have only been minor appliance maintenance so far). The 24/7 front desk staff shines as one of my favorite perks about living here. They are always very friendly, and never fail to hold open the door when I'm weighed down with packages. Also, unlike previous buildings I've lived in, there is very little turn over in the staff. It is nice interacting with people that seem to enjoy working here and take care of everything that needs to be done to maintain Alta's high standards. I recently renewed my lease and expect Alta to keep providing one of the best high-rise apartment experiences in the South Loop. read more

I have been a resident of Alta Roosevelt for over a year and have been so pleased with the building, its awesome amenities and of course my unit. Although note worthy, beyond all the great qualities found within this building I have to say that the most valuable gem is the wonderful staff members who serve this community. This include the people in the leasing office, to those who manage the first desk and the ones who keep the building safe and clean. They all greet you with a smile and are extremely accommodating . They go out of their way to assist you. There are several individual stories I could tell on how helpful each one of the staff have been towards me over the past year but that would take too long. But I wanted to give you example. Last month a ran into Madison, in house keeping, and mentioned to her that one of my rugs needed to be cleaned. To my surprise she volunteered to come and help me. Not only did she graciously help me clean that rug she preceded helped me clean three other ones in my apartment. She went way beyond the call of duty, all while displaying a wonderful spirit and smile on her face. Thank you Madison I will forever for grateful and remember your kindness towards me. read more

We have lived here since June 2019 and have enjoyed every bit of our experience living here. I purposely waited for a long amount of time before reviewing so I can be sure to my review accurately reflects what it is like to live here. The front door staff is always smiling and make sure to ask about our day. They anticipate our needs and are always willing to lend a helping hand. Maintenance has been great and whenever there was a maintenance issue, it was often fixed with an hour or two of the maintenance request being put in. The amenities in our building are top notch and are much better and more comprehensive than the other apartments that we've visited in the area. Guests are often surprised with the amount of amenities we have in our building. Prior to COVID-19, there were several events planned by the staff here which made it easier to meet neighbors and they often provided food and drinks for these events. Unfortunately, however, it has slowed down a bit because of COVID-19 but they are beginning to ramp up these activities again in a safe manner. This has been a great experience here and I would recommend anyone give this place a shot. You will not be disappointed. read more

We lived here for 16 months and it was such a memorable part of our lives. The units are high quality and the amenities are superb. From day 1 we felt at home thanks to the wonderful staff, it really is a special community in a great location. Every member of staff is so warm and friendly. Impossible to name everyone personally, but we had great relationships with the management (Bob Bonifazi, Rebecca Hollenbach), also Jasmine Gaston who always greets you with a smile and really looks after you. The door staff (Tina, Angel & Ladyashley) are all so helpful. The maintenance staff are also a big part of this community and ensure they attend to your every need. We cannot recommend highly enough this building and the brilliant team that manage the property and the community, it is managed so well at every level. It was with a heavy heart that we moved on but we will never forget the experience of living in Alta Roosevelt. We've been living in Alta Roosevelt for a month and I cannot say enough good things about our experience. The door staff (Jonathan, Lala and Tina) takes the time to get to know you and they all remember your name. Not only that, but they take security seriously and do not let up anyone without calling you first. They also email you when packages arrive and more often then not, the door staff catches you on the way in and gets your package for you. Work orders are completed within hours, not days. Again, they will call and ask for your permission before entering and personally follow up to ensure the job is done right. The management/leasing staff responds to your questions within minutes, the most I have waited for an hour tops. The building finishes are great! Whirlpool appliances, soft close cabinets, great under cabinet lighting and track lights (all covered by the building if a bulb goes out) Between the staff, amenities, finishes, and one of the best locations in the city, the rent on Alta Roosevelt (brand new building) is fair compared to any other South Loop building. #WeLoveOurBuilding #LiveAlta read more

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! Please don't be fooled and pay over priced apartments. Door staff is literally the worst I have ever encountered, especially a man named Johnathon. He is ignorant, rude, and disrespectful, not to mention racist. The overall environment can fool you with 4 floors of amenities, however don't expect to use them freely because they are watching literally your every move and will make you feel as if you aren't paying as much as you are for the space. Even in your own apartment, we felt as if we were being watched, with surprise inspections or reparations. Management is beyond spiteful, for any minimal reason. A woman named Jasmine would attack residents in such a condescending manner it would boil your skin. I will stop here because I don't doubt this review will be deleted as mine was before and many others. Simply don't do it, I promise you, you will regret it! I have never had such a pleasant and smooth transition moving to a new place! The tour conducted by Brianna, was amazing! She was so welcoming and able to answer all of the questions we had with no hesitation! She also made the application process so smooth! Jasmin (the lifestyle coordinator) was beyond amazing as well! She was extremely pleasant and made us feel at home! I am so grateful to Brianna and Jasmin for making this such an easy decision! I move in tomorrow and everything that I've needed assistance with up until today, they have handled rapidly and with no problem! I'm so excited for my time at Alta and look forward to meeting other members of the staff! Customer service is 100% genuine and ultimately is one of the reasons I decided to lease with Alta! We have been living at Alta Roosevelt for about 1.5 years and absolutely love it. The amenities are great - the media room, the pool, the gym, the conference rooms, the game room, and the zen garden. The staff is awesome, from management to maintenance to the front door. They are always very friendly and helpful. The gym is kept clean and well-maintained (along with everything else), which is important for my wife and I. Multiple free, instructed workout classes per week are also really nice. This summer the building held a pool party which was awesome. Drinks, food, and live music...my friends were jealous that I live here. I moved in a few months ago and have had such a great experience with everyone! The building is beautiful and clean. Staff is always available to answer any questions or concerns. I knew it's a dog friendly building but am so pleased with just how dog friendly it actually is. The amenities for both humans and dogs are incredible, I've toured several buildings in the neighborhood and Alta Roosevelt has it all. My boyfriend our pups and I just moved to Chicago from NY and found a home at the Alta Roosevelt.The the best part of our new home is the hospitality of the staff. In particular, Angel. She has made us feel so welcome, safe, and happy. Coming home from a long day to be greeted by such an amazing person is such a perk. Its our 3rd month here and haven't yet met a tenant I haven't liked. People are rad as hell here.. especially dog owners. Living here has been amazing! The location is really nice. It's a very calm neighborhood, but don't get me wrong, there's a lot to do in south loop. Alta Roosevelt is not only is a luxury building full of amenities, but all the building's workers are really amazing! This building is worth no stars! Great amenities and nice apartment. But what does that matter when YOU CAN GET ROBBED IN THE GARAGE !! The garage has public parking and it's not SAFE!!! I got robbed in the garage!!!!! && Alta did nothing but say they aren't responsible they only a third party! the leasing office is a racist. ESPECIALLY REBECCA!!!! The leasing management. The lady at the front desk was kind to me because for some reason my purse strap decided to break right in front of the door as you come in leaving my contents to of course to go every where.
