Despite the lifetime warranty, the previous tint place no longer tinted cars, so I was SOL. I started to look around and ask different tint vendors regarding tint removal and retint. I priced it out and asked about the XPEL XR. Turns out not too many tint places use the nano ceramic hybrid tint I had put on the car. Well now I know. Blue's Glass Tinting was super responsive on Yelp and had reasonable pricing. And they are located close to where my brother now lives. I told my brother to make an appointment and they booked him about a week out. We sent in a deposit for the appointment. Well he dropped off the car today and got it back in a few hours. No more bubbly tint! I told my brother it was his birthday present from me so he's happy and I'm happy that he can now see out the back windshield at night. It was returned to me covered in exterior water spots, interior drips, and significant water stains on the headliner. I spent hours cleaning the interior and exterior myself, but the headliner stains remained. After multiple attempts to resolve this, I brought the car back today. I was told they couldn't wash the car because they would likely leave 'swirl marks' on the paint--an unbelievable admission for a professional shop. Most shockingly, after being patient through weeks of excuses, the owner Steve called me 'unprofessional' and told me they no longer wanted my business because I asked for the damage to be fixed. Everyone was professional and friendly and overall it took about 2 1/2 - 3 hours. Price is reasonable too compared to all the other tint shops in the IE area. Overall I would recommend.
