Most times I come here I am treated as an equal client and for the most part with respect. But there is one employee that I have to say I don't ever like being around because no matter what study or time of the day I come in she's very huffy and puffy in her demeanor towards me and always seems like I'm annoying her with any questions I may have. So I simply don't talk. But today most of all was the worst time I have EVER gotten treated! I went in and she checked me in then when I was called back everything seemed fine and I got to have a conversation with another of the lady employees I am always happy to see until one of the clients and that specific employee that has no patience for me it seems and even my one I get along very well with cut me off mid sentence of her & i's convo and I just went right on to my phone and got quiet and felt so very disrespected and hurt feeling wise like nothing I said mattered. So long story short be careful how much you open up to conversation wise or how happy you walk into bioscreen cause I sure as hell left today hurt and feeling belittled and the rest of my day was terrible and I went home and had a short cry moment asking why am I not good enough? Or why are the stories and things I have to say not important :( read more

I first signed up with Bioscreen about three years ago. I've participated in quite a few studies since that time. The staff is friendly and professional. They keep things moving and work hard to be on time with appointments. They let you know in advance how many visits and what day the study visits will be on. This allows you to decide in advance if a particular study will work with your schedule. It's a great way to have some extra money for vacations or other little extras. read more

I have done numerous paid studies here over the past several years. I have never had a reaction to products I have tested. They explain the process very clearly and make sure you are not at risk to have a reaction to products. They have always been on time or even faster than the time they tell you. I recommend signing up to their email list to anyone who wants to make an extra buck. Most studies are super easy! I will dock a star though because there is never any parking. The building is super dingy and has a very sad feel to it. It's a good thing the staff is so nice, but I feel bad for them to have to work in that building all day. What comes to mind when you think of paid studies? I know you're thinking that it's the usual spam that clogs your email and usually doesn't pan out. Well, this is completely different and done in person. The studies can range from testing facial products, sunscreen, mascara, or products they're trying to get on the market in the near future They also do sequestered studies, which means you will come in early in the morning and stay for a period of 8-12 hours depending on the particular study. If you do participate in a sequestered make sure to bring a small blanket *gets chilly*, books,a few snacks, and they will provide lunch or dinner which is typically pizza or sandwiches from port of subs. Overall I've had some really positive experiences and will continue to be a panelist. read more

THIS IS THE WORST GROUP EVER! They overbooked by 100% for a scheduled test. They had 15 people show up at 6:30 AM, our scheduled time and when showing up ON TIME they told all of us we were too late and sent us all home with ten dollars (which they'll mail?). When i asked why they would waste all of our time they stated: "We have to cover ourselves we scheduled 15 people 1/2 hour before all of you, so in case ANYONE didn't show up then, we'd have you guys to fill the spots! THEY OVER BOOKED 100% using all of us to "make sure they filled their quota" -- knowing we'd be sent home. We had to get up at 5am, drive there, some of us driving up to an hour, ruin our day from scheduling anything else, when they KNEW they were WAY overbooked. RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, UNETHICAL, UNPROFESSIONAL. When I complained to the female DR in charge, she told me I could come the next day and she's make sure I got in -- which means they were ready to throw out some other scheduled person NO PROBLEM! They don't give a damn about people, they are exploiters. And really, $10.00!!! LOL, it cost use more than that in gas, buying the snacks they asked us to bring, and WAY more than that in time. Then later they'll say, well we make sure to tell people " first come first serve." This is a ruse to cover their butts -- because if you are the FIRST person a your scheduled time -- you're ALREADY TOO LATE cause they had a prior group at 6 am, give me a break. It's all about covering their butts -- at YOUR expense! read more

I have been here to do a couple studies but they are rude and always seem really miserable. When it comes time to pay you out on whatever study you did they always Mess up on pay ! There is a particular person that works the front desk she is completely rude ! & mean nothing nice about her. I'm surprised this place is still in business. read more

Total ripoff!!! I signed up as a way to make extra cash on occasion and I qualified for a study. When I was there the staff was rude and innattentive. What disapointed me most was how they treated each other, The manager in the back literally yelled at her staff instead of getting up off of her butt and instructing them. Very poor quality, the unhappiness of the staff was depressing, everyone who walked in could feel it. The money you are payed is if you complete a study, after I had three visits I was disqualified on my last because I had an allergic reaction to what they were testing. I've had a good experience here. I've done 3 studies so far and I haven't had any problems with getting paid. If you do not follow instructions for your study, you can been dropped and then you wouldn't be paid. Staff was very nice and friendly. My only complaint is there is no wifi. I was there for a 9 hour sequestered study and it would have been nice to have some Internet access. Overall good experience. read more

Pretty cool to get paid for trying new skin care products.

I have been doing beauty product studies here for over 3 years. Unlike a doctor's office visit, you are brought back on time for your scheduled visit. I generally like the products I've tested and appreciate getting paid as I leave vs. a mailed check. Three things would make it better; veteran testers like me who are always on time & compliant should get priority, better notice of studies - there were 3 that I wanted to do but they either started same day or next day from when I got the email, and free WIFI. read more

February 6, 2015 I have had past experience participating in a variety of local clinical studies. Bioscreen Clinical Services is definitely one of the best organizations available. The staff is professional and friendly. The signup and screening process is explained clearly and done efficiently. The candidate scheduling is very organized and moves right along. I thought the location was very home-like and had a good atmosphere. I would recommend this research facility to anyone for a good experience. What is always nice is that the product research is conducted in a scientific manner for accurate results which benefits the study team and product manufacturer as well as the clients who often benefit from using the product and supplying feedback. Not only does one earn extra income (paperwork for each study provides the detail) but I find these studies enjoyable and interesting. This is a chance for a consumer to feel their voice counts in the inventive and marketable potential of new or improved skin products. This is my third year. I have come once or twice every year. Today I was in a study that lasted 8 hours on one day. It was great everyone is so nice. You watch TV, movies or read while you wait. The time went really fast. They also provide lunch or dinner. read more

They are so unorganized!!!!!!! They will tell you that you qualify for a study then after days or weeks they will change their mind and say you weren't a good enough candidate and will drop you and NOT pay you after you spent your money driving there sometimes 2 or 3 times before you are actually dropped. Very unprofessional and their studies don't pay well at all for as many visits that you have to make and all the frustration you have to put up with! read more

I was in fact out within a few hours and collected payment as well as being able to keep the product on this particular occasion. I've taken her to the office for her appointments which are generally quick 10 to 30 min. but have seen them go an hour. When ever we speak she tells me to get my appl. in so I can start participating in studies, I just completed my application online and am looking forward to my first studie. read more

I've been doing studies with Bioscreen for several years now. Though it can be difficult to qualify for studies, and sometimes the compensation doesn't feel commensurate with the length or requirements of the study, it's a great way to pick up some extra money for vacations or holidays.
